וַיַּעַשׂ יוֹאָשׁ הַיָּשָׁר בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה כָּל־יְמֵי יְהוֹיָדָע הַכֹּהֵן

 24:12 waYiT'nëhû haMelekh' wiyhôyädä el-ôsëh m'lekhet ávôdat Bëyt-y'hwäh waYih'yû sokh'riym chotz'viym w'chäräshiym l'chaDësh Bëyt y'hwäh w'gam l'chäräshëy var'zel ûn'choshet l'chaZëq et-Bëyt y'hwäh

וַיַּעֲשׂוּ עֹשֵׂי הַמְּלָאכָה וַתַּעַל אֲרוּכָה לַמְּלָאכָה בְּיָדָם וַיַּעֲמִידוּ אֶת־בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים עַל־מַתְכֻּנְתּוֹ וַיְאַמְּצֻהוּ

 24:14 And when they had finished 3615 z8763 [it], they brought 935 z8689 x853 the rest 7605 of the money 3701 before 6440 the king 4428 and Yæhôyäđä` יְהוֹיָדָע, 3077 whereof were made 6213 z8799 vessels 3627 for the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 [even] vessels 3627 to minister, 8335 and to offer 5927 z8687 [withal], and spoons, 3709 and vessels 3627 of gold 2091 and silver. 3701 And they offered 5927 z8688 x1961 burnt offerings 5930 in the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 continually 8548 all x3605 the days 3117 of Yæhôyäđä` יְהוֹיָדָע. 3077

וַיִּזְקַן יְהוֹיָדָע וַיִּשְׂבַּע יָמִים וַיָּמֹת בֶּן־מֵאָה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים שָׁנָה בְּמוֹתוֹ

 24:15 waYiz'qan y'hôyädä waYis'Ba yämiym waYämot Ben-mëäh ûsh'loshiym shänäh B'môtô

 24:15 ¶ But Yæhôyäđä` יְהוֹיָדָע 3077 waxed old, 2204 z8799 and was full 7646 z8799 of days 3117 when he died; 4191 z8799 an hundred 3967 and thirty 7970 years 8141 old 1121 [was he] when he died. 4194

וַיִּקְבְּרֻהוּ בְעִיר־דָּוִיד עִם־הַמְּלָכִים כִּי־עָשָׂה טוֹבָה בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל וְעִם הָאֱלֹהִים וּבֵיתוֹ ס

 24:17 Now after 310 the death 4194 of Yæhôyäđä` יְהוֹיָדָע 3077 came 935 z8804 the princes 8269 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 and made obeisance 7812 z8691 to the king. 4428 Then x227 the king 4428 hearkened 8085 z8804 unto x413 them.

וַיַּעַזְבוּ אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵיהֶם וַיַּעַבְדוּ אֶת־הָאֲשֵׁרִים וְאֶת־הָעֲצַבִּים וַיְהִי־קֶצֶף עַל־יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִַם בְּאַשְׁמָתָם זֹאת

 24:18 waYaaz'vû et-Bëyt y'hwäh élohëy ávôtëyhem waYaav'dû et-häáshëriym w'et-häátzaBiym way'hiy-qetzef al-y'hûdäh wiyrûshälaim B'ash'mätäm zot

 24:18 And they left 5800 z8799 x853 the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 of their fathers, 1 and served 5647 z8799 x853 groves 842 and idols: 6091 and wrath 7110 came x1961 upon x5921 Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 and Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם 3389 for this x2063 their trespass. 819

וַיִּקְשְׁרוּ עָלָיו וַיִּרְגְּמֻהוּ אֶבֶן בְּמִצְוַת הַמֶּלֶךְ בַּחֲצַר בֵּית יְהוָה

 24:21 And they conspired 7194 z8799 against x5921 him, and stoned 7275 z8799 him with stones 68 at the commandment 4687 of the king 4428 in the court 2691 of the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

וְלֹא־זָכַר יוֹאָשׁ הַמֶּלֶךְ הַחֶסֶד אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה יְהוֹיָדָע אָבִיו עִמּוֹ וַיַּהֲרֹג אֶת־בְּנוֹ וּכְמוֹתוֹ אָמַר יֵרֶא יְהוָה וְיִדְרֹשׁ פ

 24:22 Thus Yô´äš יוֹאָשׁ 3101 the king 4428 remembered 2142 z8804 not x3808 the kindness 2617 which x834 Yæhôyäđä` יְהוֹיָדָע 3077 his father 1 had done 6213 z8804 to x5973 him, but slew 2026 z8799 x853 his son. 1121 And when he died, y4194 x4191 he said, 559 z8804 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 look y7200 z8799 upon x7200 [it], and require 1875 z8799 [it].

וַיְהִי לִתְקוּפַת הַשָּׁנָה עָלָה עָלָיו חֵיל אֲרָם וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל־יְהוּדָה וִירוּשָׁלִַם וַיַּשְׁחִיתוּ אֶת־כָּל־שָׂרֵי הָעָם מֵעָם וְכָל־שְׁלָלָם שִׁלְּחוּ לְמֶלֶךְ דַּרְמָשֶׂק

 24:23 ¶ And it came to pass x1961 at the end 8622 of the year, 8141 [that] the host 2428 of ´Áräm אֲרָם 758 came up 5927 z8804 against x5921 him: and they came 935 z8799 to x413 Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 and Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם, 3389 and destroyed 7843 z8686 x853 all x3605 the princes 8269 of the people 5971 from among the people, 5971 x4480 and sent 7971 z8765 all x3605 the spoil 7998 of them unto the king 4428 of Dammäŝek דַּמָּשֶׂק. 1834

כִּי בְמִצְעַר אֲנָשִׁים בָּאוּ חֵיל אֲרָם וַיהוָה נָתַן בְּיָדָם חַיִל לָרֹב מְאֹד כִּי עָזְבוּ אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתֵיהֶם וְאֶת־יוֹאָשׁ עָשׂוּ שְׁפָטִים
