וַיֵּצֵא לִפְנֵי אָסָא וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ שְׁמָעוּנִי אָסָא וְכָל־יְהוּדָה וּבִנְיָמִן יְהוָה עִמָּכֶם בִּהְיוֹתְכֶם עִמּוֹ וְאִם־תִּדְרְשֻׁהוּ יִמָּצֵא לָכֶם וְאִם־תַּעַזְבֻהוּ יַעֲזֹב אֶתְכֶם ס

 15:2 And he went out 3318 z8799 to meet 6440 ´Äsä´ אָסָא, 609 and said 559 z8799 unto him, Hear 8085 z8798 ye me, ´Äsä´ אָסָא, 609 and all x3605 Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 and Binyämîn בִּניָמִין; 1144 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 [is] with x5973 you, while ye be x1961 with x5973 him; and if x518 ye seek 1875 z8799 him, he will be found 4672 z8735 of you; but if x518 ye forsake 5800 z8799 him, he will forsake 5800 z8799 you.

וְיָמִים רַבִּים לְיִשְׂרָאֵל לְלֹא אֱלֹהֵי אֱמֶת וּלְלֹא כֹּהֵן מוֹרֶה וּלְלֹא תוֹרָה

וַיָּשָׁב בַּצַּר־לוֹ עַל־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיְבַקְשֻׁהוּ וַיִּמָּצֵא לָהֶם

וּבָעִתִּים הָהֵם אֵין שָׁלוֹם לַיּוֹצֵא וְלַבָּא כִּי מְהוּמֹת רַבּוֹת עַל כָּל־יוֹשְׁבֵי הָאֲרָצוֹת

וְכֻתְּתוּ גוֹי־בְּגוֹי וְעִיר בְּעִיר כִּי־אֱלֹהִים הֲמָמָם בְּכָל־צָרָה

 15:6 w'khuT'tû gôy-B'gôy w'iyr B'iyr Kiy-élohiym hámämäm B'khäl-tzäräh

וְכִשְׁמֹעַ אָסָא הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה וְהַנְּבוּאָה עֹדֵד הַנָּבִיא הִתְחַזַּק וַיַּעֲבֵר הַשִּׁקּוּצִים מִכָּל־אֶרֶץ יְהוּדָה וּבִנְיָמִן וּמִן־הֶעָרִים אֲשֶׁר לָכַד מֵהַר אֶפְרָיִם וַיְחַדֵּשׁ אֶת־מִזְבַּח יְהוָה אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי אוּלָם יְהוָה

וַיִּקְבֹּץ אֶת־כָּל־יְהוּדָה וּבִנְיָמִן וְהַגָּרִים עִמָּהֶם מֵאֶפְרַיִם וּמְנַשֶּׁה וּמִשִּׁמְעוֹן כִּי־נָפְלוּ עָלָיו מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל לָרֹב בִּרְאֹתָם כִּי־יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו עִמּוֹ פ

וַיִּזְבְּחוּ לַיהוָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא מִן־הַשָּׁלָל הֵבִיאוּ בָּקָר שְׁבַע מֵאוֹת וְצֹאן שִׁבְעַת אֲלָפִים

וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יִדְרֹשׁ לַיהוָה אֱלֹהֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל יוּמָת לְמִן־קָטֹן וְעַד־גָּדוֹל לְמֵאִישׁ וְעַד־אִשָּׁה

וַיִּשָּׁבְעוּ לַיהוָה בְּקוֹל גָּדוֹל וּבִתְרוּעָה וּבַחֲצֹצְרוֹת וּבְשׁוֹפָרוֹת

 15:14 waYiSHäv'û layhwäh B'qôl Gädôl ûvit'rûäh ûvachátzotz'rôt ûv'shôfärôt

 15:14 And they sware 7650 z8735 unto Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 with a loud 1419 voice, 6963 and with shouting, 8643 and with trumpets, 2689 and with cornets. 7782

וַיִּשְׂמְחוּ כָל־יְהוּדָה עַל־הַשְּׁבוּעָה כִּי בְכָל־לְבָבָם נִשְׁבָּעוּ וּבְכָל־רְצוֹנָם בִּקְשֻׁהוּ וַיִּמָּצֵא לָהֶם וַיָּנַח יְהוָה לָהֶם מִסָּבִיב

 15:15 waYis'm'chû khäl-y'hûdäh al-haSH'vûäh Kiy v'khäl-l'väväm nish'Bäû ûv'khäl-r'tzônäm Biq'shuhû waYiMätzë lähem waYänach y'hwäh lähem miŠäviyv

וְגַם־מַעֲכָה אֵם אָסָא הַמֶּלֶךְ הֱסִירָהּ מִגְּבִירָה אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָה לַאֲשֵׁרָה מִפְלָצֶת וַיִּכְרֹת אָסָא אֶת־מִפְלַצְתָּהּ וַיָּדֶק וַיִּשְׂרֹף בְּנַחַל קִדְרוֹן

 15:16 w'gam-maákhäh ëm äšä haMelekh' héšiyräH miG'viyräh ásher-äs'täh laáshëräh mif'lätzet waYikh'rot äšä et-mif'latz'TäH waYädeq waYis'rof B'nachal qid'rôn

 15:16 ¶ And also x1571 [concerning] Ma`áȼà מַעֲכָה 4601 the mother 517 of ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 the king, 4428 he removed 5493 z8689 her from [being] queen, 1377 x4480 because x834 she had made 6213 z8804 an idol 4656 in a grove: 842 and ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 cut down 3772 z8799 x853 her idol, 4656 and stamped 1854 z8686 [it], and burnt 8313 z8799 [it] at the brook 5158 Kiđrôn קִדרוֹן. 6939

וְהַבָּמוֹת לֹא־סָרוּ מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל רַק לְבַב־אָסָא הָיָה שָׁלֵם כָּל־יָמָיו

וַיָּבֵא אֶת־קָדְשֵׁי אָבִיו וְקָדָשָׁיו בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים כֶּסֶף וְזָהָב וְכֵלִים

 15:18 waYävë et-qäd'shëy äviyw w'qädäshäyw Bëyt häélohiym Kešef w'zähäv w'khëliym

 15:18 ¶ And he brought y935 z8686 into x935 the house 1004 of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 x853 the things that his father 1 had dedicated, 6944 and that he himself had dedicated, 6944 silver, 3701 and gold, 2091 and vessels. 3627

וּמִלְחָמָה לֹא הָיָתָה עַד שְׁנַת־שְׁלֹשִׁים וְחָמֵשׁ לְמַלְכוּת אָסָא ס
