 16:1 Bish'nat sh'loshiym wäshësh l'mal'khût äšä äläh Ba'shä melekh'-yis'räël al-y'hûdäh waYiven et-härämäh l'vil'Tiy Tët yôtzë wävä l'äšä melekh' y'hûdäh

 16:1 ¶ In the six 8337 and thirtieth 7970 year 8141 of the reign 4438 of ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 Ba`šä´ בַּעשָׁא 1201 king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 came up 5927 z8804 against x5921 Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 and built 1129 z8799 x853 Rämà רָמָה, 7414 to the intent that y1115 he might let 5414 z8800 none x1115 go out 3318 z8802 or come in 935 z8802 to ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 king 4428 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה. 3063

 16:2 Then ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 brought out 3318 z8686 silver 3701 and gold 2091 out of the treasures 214 x4480 of the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 and of the king's 4428 house, 1004 and sent 7971 z8799 to x413 Ben Háđađ בֶּן־הֲדַד 1130 king 4428 of ´Áräm אֲרָם, 758 that dwelt 3427 z8802 at Dammäŝek דַּמָּשֶׂק, 1834 saying, 559 z8800

וּבָעֵת הַהִיא בָּא חֲנָנִי הָרֹאֶה אֶל־אָסָא מֶלֶךְ יְהוּדָה וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו בְּהִשָּׁעֶנְךָ עַל־מֶלֶךְ אֲרָם וְלֹא נִשְׁעַנְתָּ עַל־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ עַל־כֵּן נִמְלַט חֵיל מֶלֶךְ־אֲרָם מִיָּדֶךָ

כִּי יְהוָה עֵינָיו מְשֹׁטְטוֹת בְּכָל־הָאָרֶץ לְהִתְחַזֵּק עִם־לְבָבָם שָׁלֵם אֵלָיו נִסְכַּלְתָּ עַל־זֹאת כִּי מֵעַתָּה יֵשׁ עִמְּךָ מִלְחָמוֹת

 16:9 Kiy y'hwäh ëynäyw m'shoţ'ţôt B'khäl-hääretz l'hit'chaZëq im-l'väväm shälëm ëläyw niš'Kal'Tä al-zot Kiy mëaTäh yësh iM'khä mil'chämôt

 16:9 For x3588 the eyes 5869 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 run to and fro 7751 z8789 throughout the whole x3605 earth, 776 to shew himself strong 2388 z8692 in the behalf of x5973 [them] whose heart 3824 [is] perfect 8003 toward x413 him. וַיִּכְעַס אָסָא אֶל־הָרֹאֶה וַיִּתְּנֵהוּ בֵּית הַמַּהְפֶּכֶת כִּי־בְזַעַף עִמּוֹ עַל־זֹאת וַיְרַצֵּץ אָסָא מִן־הָעָם בָּעֵת הַהִיא

 16:10 Then ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 was wroth 3707 z8799 with x413 the seer, y7200 z8802 x7203 and put 5414 z8799 him in a prison 4115 house; 1004 for x3588 [he was] in a rage 2197 with x5973 him because of x5921 this x2063 [thing]. וַיֶּחֱלֶא אָסָא בִּשְׁנַת שְׁלוֹשִׁים וָתֵשַׁע לְמַלְכוּתוֹ בְּרַגְלָיו עַד־לְמַעְלָה חָלְיוֹ וְגַם־בְּחָלְיוֹ לֹא־דָרַשׁ אֶת־יְהוָה כִּי בָּרֹפְאִים

 16:12 And ´Äsä´ אָסָא 609 in the thirty 7970 and ninth 8672 year 8141 of his reign 4438 was diseased 2456 z8799 in his feet, 7272 until x5704 his disease 2483 [was] exceeding 4605 [great]: yet x1571 in his disease 2483 he sought 1875 z8804 not x3808 x853 to Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 but x3588 to the physicians. 7495 z8802

וַיִּשְׁכַּב אָסָא עִם־אֲבֹתָיו וַיָּמָת בִּשְׁנַת אַרְבָּעִים וְאַחַת לְמָלְכוֹ

וַיִּקְבְּרֻהוּ בְקִבְרֹתָיו אֲשֶׁר כָּרָה־לוֹ בְּעִיר דָּוִיד וַיַּשְׁכִּיבֻהוּ בַּמִּשְׁכָּב אֲשֶׁר מִלֵּא בְּשָׂמִים וּזְנִים מְרֻקָּחִים בְּמִרְקַחַת מַעֲשֶׂה וַיִּשְׂרְפוּ־לוֹ שְׂרֵפָה גְּדוֹלָה עַד־לִמְאֹד פ
