 29:1 waYiq'B'tzû f'lish'Tiym et-Käl-machánëyhem áfëqäh w'yis'räël choniym Baayin ásher B'yiz'r'el

 29:1 ¶ Now the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים 6430 gathered together 6908 z8799 x853 all x3605 their armies 4264 to ´Áfëk אֲפֵק: 663 and the Yiŝræ´ëlîm יִשׂרְאֵלִים 3478 pitched 2583 z8802 by a fountain 5869 which x834 [is] in Yizræ`e´l יִזרְעֶאל. 3157

וְסַרְנֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים עֹבְרִים לְמֵאוֹת וְלַאֲלָפִים וְדָוִד וַאֲנָשָׁיו עֹבְרִים בָּאַחֲרֹנָה עִם־אָכִישׁ

וַיִּקְצְפוּ עָלָיו שָׂרֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים וַיֹּאמְרוּ לוֹ שָׂרֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים הָשֵׁב אֶת־הָאִישׁ וְיָשֹׁב אֶל־מְקוֹמוֹ אֲשֶׁר הִפְקַדְתּוֹ שָׁם וְלֹא־יֵרֵד עִמָּנוּ בַּמִּלְחָמָה וְלֹא־יִהְיֶה־לָּנוּ לְשָׂטָן בַּמִּלְחָמָה וּבַמֶּה יִתְרַצֶּה זֶה אֶל־אֲדֹנָיו הֲלוֹא בְּרָאשֵׁי הָאֲנָשִׁים הָהֵם

וַיִּקְרָא אָכִישׁ אֶל־דָּוִד וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו חַי־יְהוָה כִּי־יָשָׁר אַתָּה וְטוֹב בְּעֵינַי צֵאתְךָ וּבֹאֲךָ אִתִּי בַּמַּחֲנֶה כִּי לֹא־מָצָאתִי בְךָ רָעָה מִיּוֹם בֹּאֲךָ אֵלַי עַד־הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וּבְעֵינֵי הַסְּרָנִים לֹא־טוֹב אָתָּה

 29:6 ¶ Then ´Äȼîš אָכִישׁ 397 called 7121 z8799 x413 Däwiđ דָּוִד, 1732 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Surely, [as] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 liveth, 2416 thou x859 hast been upright, 3477 and thy going out 3318 z8800 and thy coming in 935 z8800 with x854 me in the host 4264 [is] good 2896 in my sight: 5869 for x3588 I have not x3808 found 4672 z8804 evil 7451 in thee since the day 3117 x4480 of thy coming 935 z8800 unto x413 me unto x5704 this x2088 day: 3117 nevertheless the lords 5633 x5869 favour 2896 thee x859 not. y5869 x3808

וְעַתָּה שׁוּב וְלֵךְ בְּשָׁלוֹם וְלֹא־תַעֲשֶׂה רָע בְּעֵינֵי סַרְנֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים ס

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִד אֶל־אָכִישׁ כִּי מֶה עָשִׂיתִי וּמַה־מָּצָאתָ בְעַבְדְּךָ מִיּוֹם אֲשֶׁר הָיִיתִי לְפָנֶיךָ עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה כִּי לֹא אָבוֹא וְנִלְחַמְתִּי בְּאֹיְבֵי אֲדֹנִי הַמֶּלֶךְ

וַיַּעַן אָכִישׁ וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־דָּוִד יָדַעְתִּי כִּי טוֹב אַתָּה בְּעֵינַי כְּמַלְאַךְ אֱלֹהִים אַךְ שָׂרֵי פְלִשְׁתִּים אָמְרוּ לֹא־יַעֲלֶה עִמָּנוּ בַּמִּלְחָמָה

 29:9 And ´Äȼîš אָכִישׁ 397 answered 6030 z8799 and said 559 z8799 to x413 Däwiđ דָּוִד, 1732 I know 3045 z8804 that x3588 thou x859 [art] good 2896 in my sight, 5869 as an angel 4397 of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים: 430 notwithstanding x389 the princes 8269 of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים 6430 have said, 559 z8804 He shall not x3808 go up 5927 z8799 with x5973 us to the battle. 4421

וְעַתָּה הַשְׁכֵּם בַּבֹּקֶר וְעַבְדֵי אֲדֹנֶיךָ אֲשֶׁר־בָּאוּ אִתָּךְ וְהִשְׁכַּמְתֶּם בַּבֹּקֶר וְאוֹר לָכֶם וָלֵכוּ
