 18:17 ¶ And Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 said 559 z8799 to x413 Däwiđ דָּוִד, 1732 Behold x2009 my elder 1419 daughter 1323 Mërav מֵרַב, 4764 her will I give 5414 z8799 thee to wife: 802 only x389 be x1961 thou valiant 1121 2428 for me, and fight 3898 z8734 Yähwè's יָהוֶה 3068 battles. 4421 For Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 said, 559 z8804 Let not x408 mine hand 3027 be x1961 upon him, but let the hand 3027 of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים 6430 be x1961 upon him.

וַיְהִי בְּעֵת תֵּת אֶת־מֵרַב בַּת־שָׁאוּל לְדָוִד וְהִיא נִתְּנָה לְעַדְרִיאֵל הַמְּחֹלָתִי לְאִשָּׁה

 18:21 And Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 said, 559 z8799 I will give 5414 z8799 him her, that she may be x1961 a snare 4170 to him, and that the hand 3027 of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים 6430 may be x1961 against him.  18:22 ¶ And Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 commanded 6680 z8762 x853 his servants, 5650 [saying], Commune 1696 z8761 with x413 Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 secretly, 3909 and say, 559 z8800 Behold, x2009 the king 4428 hath delight 2654 z8804 in thee, and all x3605 his servants 5650 love 157 z8804 thee: now x6258 therefore be the king's 4428 son in law. y2859 z8690 x2860
