וַיָּרָץ אֶל־עֵלִי וַיֹּאמֶר הִנְנִי כִּי־קָרָאתָ לִּי וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא־קָרָאתִי שׁוּב שְׁכָב וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיִּשְׁכָּב ס

וַיֹּסֶף יְהוָה קְרֹא עוֹד שְׁמוּאֵל וַיָּקָם שְׁמוּאֵל וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל־עֵלִי וַיֹּאמֶר הִנְנִי כִּי קָרָאתָ לִי וַיֹּאמֶר לֹא־קָרָאתִי בְנִי שׁוּב שְׁכָב

 3:6 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 called 7121 z8800 yet x5750 again, 3254 z8686 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל. 8050 And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 arose 6965 z8799 and went y3212 z8799 x1980 to x413 `Ëlî עֵלִי, 5941 and said, 559 z8799 Here x2009 [am] I; for x3588 thou didst call 7121 z8804 me. וּשְׁמוּאֵל טֶרֶם יָדַע אֶת־יְהוָה וְטֶרֶם יִגָּלֶה אֵלָיו דְּבַר־יְהוָה

וַיֹּסֶף יְהוָה קְרֹא־שְׁמוּאֵל בַּשְּׁלִשִׁית וַיָּקָם וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶל־עֵלִי וַיֹּאמֶר הִנְנִי כִּי קָרָאתָ לִי וַיָּבֶן עֵלִי כִּי יְהוָה קֹרֵא לַנָּעַר

 3:8 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 called 7121 z8800 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 again 3254 z8686 the third x7992 time. y7992 And he arose 6965 z8799 and went y3212 z8799 x1980 to x413 `Ëlî עֵלִי, 5941 and said, 559 z8799 Here x2009 [am] I; for x3588 thou didst call 7121 z8804 me. And `Ëlî עֵלִי 5941 perceived 995 z8799 that x3588 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 had called 7121 z8802 the child. 5288

וַיֹּאמֶר עֵלִי לִשְׁמוּאֵל לֵךְ שְׁכָב וְהָיָה אִם־יִקְרָא אֵלֶיךָ וְאָמַרְתָּ דַּבֵּר יְהוָה כִּי שֹׁמֵעַ עַבְדֶּךָ וַיֵּלֶךְ שְׁמוּאֵל וַיִּשְׁכַּב בִּמְקוֹמוֹ

 3:9 Therefore `Ëlî עֵלִי 5941 said 559 z8799 unto Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל, 8050 Go, y3212 z8798 x1980 lie down: 7901 z8798 and it shall be, x1961 if x518 he call 7121 z8799 x413 thee, that thou shalt say, 559 z8804 Speak, 1696 z8761 Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 for x3588 thy servant 5650 heareth. 8085 z8802 So Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 went y3212 z8799 x1980 and lay down 7901 z8799 in his place. 4725

וַיָּבֹא יְהוָה וַיִּתְיַצַּב וַיִּקְרָא כְפַעַם־בְּפַעַם שְׁמוּאֵל שְׁמוּאֵל וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל דַּבֵּר כִּי שֹׁמֵעַ עַבְדֶּךָ פ

 3:10 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 came, 935 z8799 and stood, 3320 z8691 and called 7121 z8799 as at other times, 6471 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל, 8050 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל. 8050 Then Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 answered, 559 z8799 Speak; 1696 z8761 for x3588 thy servant 5650 heareth. 8085 z8802

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־שְׁמוּאֵל הִנֵּה אָנֹכִי עֹשֶׂה דָבָר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר כָּל־שֹׁמְעוֹ תְּצִלֶּינָה שְׁתֵּי אָזְנָיו

 3:11 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 said 559 z8799 to x413 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל, 8050 Behold, x2009 I x595 will do 6213 z8802 a thing 1697 in Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 at which x834 both 8147 the ears 241 of every one x3605 that heareth 8085 z8802 it shall tingle. 6750 z8799

בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אָקִים אֶל־עֵלִי אֵת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתִּי אֶל־בֵּיתוֹ הָחֵל וְכַלֵּה

 3:12 BaYôm hahû äqiym el-ëliy ët Käl-ásher DiBar'Tiy el-Bëytô hächël w'khaLëh

וְהִגַּדְתִּי לוֹ כִּי־שֹׁפֵט אֲנִי אֶת־בֵּיתוֹ עַד־עוֹלָם בַּעֲוֹן אֲשֶׁר־יָדַע כִּי־מְקַלְלִים לָהֶם בָּנָיו וְלֹא כִהָה בָּם

 3:13 w'hiGad'Tiy lô Kiy-shofëţ ániy et-Bëytô ad-ôläm Baáwon ásher-yäda Kiy-m'qal'liym lähem Bänäyw w'lo khihäh Bäm

 3:13 For I have told 5046 z8689 him that x3588 I x589 will judge 8199 z8802 x853 his house 1004 for y5704 ever 5769 x5704 for the iniquity 5771 which x834 he knoweth; 3045 z8804 because x3588 his sons 1121 made themselves vile, 7043 z8764 and he restrained 3543 z8765 them not. x3808

וְלָכֵן נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי לְבֵית עֵלִי אִם־יִתְכַּפֵּר עֲוֹן בֵּית־עֵלִי בְּזֶבַח וּבְמִנְחָה עַד־עוֹלָם

 3:14 w'läkhën nish'Ba'Tiy l'vëyt ëliy im-yit'KaPër áwon Bëyt-ëliy B'zevach ûv'min'chäh ad-ôläm

 3:14 And therefore x3651 I have sworn 7650 z8738 unto the house 1004 of `Ëlî עֵלִי, 5941 that the iniquity 5771 of `Ëlî's עֵלִי 5941 house 1004 shall not x518 be purged 3722 z8691 with sacrifice 2077 nor offering 4503 for y5704 ever. 5769 x5704

וַיִּשְׁכַּב שְׁמוּאֵל עַד־הַבֹּקֶר וַיִּפְתַּח אֶת־דַּלְתוֹת בֵּית־יְהוָה וּשְׁמוּאֵל יָרֵא מֵהַגִּיד אֶת־הַמַּרְאָה אֶל־עֵלִי

 3:15 waYish'Kav sh'mûël ad-haBoqer waYif'Tach et-Dal'tôt Bëyt-y'hwäh ûsh'mûël yärë mëhaGiyd et-haMar'äh el-ëliy

 3:15 ¶ And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 lay 7901 z8799 until x5704 the morning, 1242 and opened 6605 z8799 x853 the doors 1817 of the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068 And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 feared 3372 z8804 to shew 5046 z8687 x4480 x413 `Ëlî עֵלִי 5941 x853 the vision. 4759

וַיִּקְרָא עֵלִי אֶת־שְׁמוּאֵל וַיֹּאמֶר שְׁמוּאֵל בְּנִי וַיֹּאמֶר הִנֵּנִי

וַיֹּאמֶר מָה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר אֵלֶיךָ אַל־נָא תְכַחֵד מִמֶּנִּי כֹּה יַעֲשֶׂה־לְּךָ אֱלֹהִים וְכֹה יוֹסִיף אִם־תְּכַחֵד מִמֶּנִּי דָּבָר מִכָּל־הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר אֵלֶיךָ

 3:17 waYomer mäh haDävär ásher DiBer ëleykhä al-nä t'khachëd miMeNiy Koh yaáseh-L'khä élohiym w'khoh yôšiyf im-T'khachëd miMeNiy Dävär miKäl-haDävär ásher-DiBer ëleykhä

 3:17 And he said, 559 z8799 What x4100 [is] the thing 1697 that x834 [Yähwè יָהוֶה] hath said 1696 z8765 unto x413 thee? I pray thee x4994 hide 3582 z8762 [it] not x408 from x4480 me: ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 do x6213 so y6213 z8799 x3541 to thee, and more x3254 also, y3254 z8686 x3541 if x518 thou hide 3582 z8762 [any] thing 1697 from x4480 me of all x4480 x3605 the things 1697 that x834 he said 1696 z8765 unto x413 thee.

וַיַּגֶּד־לוֹ שְׁמוּאֵל אֶת־כָּל־הַדְּבָרִים וְלֹא כִחֵד מִמֶּנּוּ וַיֹּאמַר יְהוָה הוּא הַטּוֹב בְּעֵינָו יַעֲשֶׂה פ

 3:18 waYaGed-lô sh'mûël et-Käl-haD'väriym w'lo khichëd miMeNû waYomar y'hwäh hû haŢôv B'ëynäw yaáseh f

 3:18 And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 told 5046 z8686 him x853 every x3605 whit, 1697 and hid 3582 z8765 nothing x3808 from x4480 him. And he said, 559 z8799 It x1931 [is] Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 let him do 6213 z8799 what seemeth 5869 him good. 2896

וַיִּגְדַּל שְׁמוּאֵל וַיהוָה הָיָה עִמּוֹ וְלֹא־הִפִּיל מִכָּל־דְּבָרָיו אָרְצָה

 3:19 waYig'Dal sh'mûël wayhwäh häyäh iMô w'lo-hiPiyl miKäl-D'väräyw är'tzäh

 3:19 ¶ And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 grew, 1431 z8799 and Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 was x1961 with x5973 him, and did let none x3808 x4480 x3605 of his words 1697 fall 5307 z8689 to the ground. 776

וַיֵּדַע כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל מִדָּן וְעַד־בְּאֵר שָׁבַע כִּי נֶאֱמָן שְׁמוּאֵל לְנָבִיא לַיהוָה

 3:21 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 appeared 7200 z8736 again 3254 z8686 in Šîlò שִׁילֹה: 7887 for x3588 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 revealed y1540 z8738 himself x1540 to x413 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 in Šîlò שִׁילֹה 7887 by the word 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068
