וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה אֵלָיו הִנֵּה אַתָּה יָדַעְתָּ אֵת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂה שָׁאוּל אֲשֶׁר הִכְרִית אֶת־הָאֹבוֹת וְאֶת־הַיִּדְּעֹנִי מִן־הָאָרֶץ וְלָמָה אַתָּה מִתְנַקֵּשׁ בְּנַפְשִׁי לַהֲמִיתֵנִי

 28:9 And the woman 802 said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Behold, x2009 thou x859 knowest 3045 z8804 x853 what x834 Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 hath done, 6213 z8804 how x834 he hath cut off 3772 z8689 x853 those that have familiar spirits, 178 and the wizards, 3049 out of x4480 the land: 776 wherefore x4100 then layest thou x859 a snare 5367 z8693 for my life, 5315 to cause me to die? 4191 z8687

וַיִּשָּׁבַע לָהּ שָׁאוּל בַּיהוָה לֵאמֹר חַי־יְהוָה אִם־יִקְּרֵךְ עָוֹן בַּדָּבָר הַזֶּה

 28:10 And Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 sware 7650 z8735 to her by Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 saying, 559 z8800 [As] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 liveth, 2416 there shall y518 no x518 punishment 5771 happen 7136 z8799 to thee for this x2088 thing. 1697

וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה אֶת־מִי אַעֲלֶה־לָּךְ וַיֹּאמֶר אֶת־שְׁמוּאֵל הַעֲלִי־לִי

וַתֵּרֶא הָאִשָּׁה אֶת־שְׁמוּאֵל וַתִּזְעַק בְּקוֹל גָּדוֹל וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה אֶל־שָׁאוּל לֵאמֹר לָמָּה רִמִּיתָנִי וְאַתָּה שָׁאוּל

וַיֹּאמֶר לָהּ הַמֶּלֶךְ אַל־תִּירְאִי כִּי מָה רָאִית וַתֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁה אֶל־שָׁאוּל אֱלֹהִים רָאִיתִי עֹלִים מִן־הָאָרֶץ

 28:15 ¶ And Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל 8050 said 559 z8799 to x413 Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל, 7586 Why x4100 hast thou disquieted 7264 z8689 me, to bring me up? 5927 z8687 x853 And Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל 7586 answered, 559 z8799 I am sore 3966 distressed; 6887 z8804 for the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים 6430 make war 3898 z8737 against me, and ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 is departed 5493 z8804 from x4480 x5921 me, and answereth 6030 z8804 me no x3808 more, x5750 neither x1571 by 3027 prophets, 5030 nor x1571 by dreams: 2472 therefore I have called 7121 z8799 thee, that thou mayest make known 3045 z8687 unto me what x4100 I shall do. 6213 z8799

 28:16 Then said 559 z8799 Šæmû´ël שְׁמוּאֵל, 8050 Wherefore x4100 then dost thou ask 7592 z8799 of me, seeing Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 is departed 5493 z8804 from x4480 x5921 thee, and is become x1961 thine enemy? 6145

וַיַּעַשׂ יְהוָה לוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר בְּיָדִי וַיִּקְרַע יְהוָה אֶת־הַמַּמְלָכָה מִיָּדֶךָ וַיִּתְּנָהּ לְרֵעֲךָ לְדָוִד

כַּאֲשֶׁר לֹא־שָׁמַעְתָּ בְּקוֹל יְהוָה וְלֹא־עָשִׂיתָ חֲרוֹן־אַפּוֹ בַּעֲמָלֵק עַל־כֵּן הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה עָשָׂה־לְךָ יְהוָה הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה

 28:19 Moreover x1571 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 will also deliver 5414 z8799 x853 Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 with x5973 thee into the hand 3027 of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים: 6430 and to morrow 4279 [shalt] thou x859 and thy sons 1121 [be] with x5973 me: Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 also x1571 shall deliver 5414 z8799 x853 the host 4264 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 into the hand 3027 of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים. 6430

וְעַתָּה שְׁמַע־נָא גַם־אַתָּה בְּקוֹל שִׁפְחָתֶךָ וְאָשִׂמָה לְפָנֶיךָ פַּת־לֶחֶם וֶאֱכוֹל וִיהִי בְךָ כֹּחַ כִּי תֵלֵךְ בַּדָּרֶךְ
