hold my peace,ºº

Yærûšälaim's
יְרוּשָׁלִַםº

I will notº
rest,ºº
untilº
the righteousnessº
thereof go forthºº
as brightness,º
and the salvationº
thereof as a lampº
[that] burneth.ºº |

For Tziyyon's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Yerushalaim's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp [that] burneth. |

And the Gentilesº
shall seeºº
thy righteousness,º
and allº
kingsº
thy glory:º
and thou shalt be calledºº
by a newº
name,ººº
whichº
the mouthº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
shall name.ºº |

62:2
And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of Yahweh shall name. |

Thou shalt also beº
a crownº
of gloryº
in the handº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
and a royalº
diademºº
in the handº
of thy
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.º |

62:3
Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of Yahweh, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy Elohim. |

Thou shalt noº
moreº
be termedºº
Forsaken;ºº
neitherº
shall thy landº
any moreº
be termedºº
Desolate:º
butº
thou shalt be calledºº

חֶפצִי־בָּה,º
and thy landº
Bæ`ûlà
בְּעוּלָה:ºº
forº
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
delightethºº
in thee, and thy landº
shall be married.ºº |

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Cheftzi-Bah, and thy land Beulah: for Yahweh delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married. |

marriethºº
a virgin,º
[so] shall thy sonsº
marryºº
thee: and [as] the bridegroomº
rejoicethº
overº
the bride,º
[so] shall thy
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִיםº
rejoiceºº
overº
thee. |

62:5 ¶
For [as] a young man marrieth a virgin, [so] shall thy sons marry thee: and [as] the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, [so] shall thy Elohim rejoice over thee. |

I have setºº
watchmenºº
uponº
thy walls,º
O
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם,º
[which] shall neverºº
hold their peaceºº
dayº
nor night:º
ye that make mentionºº
ofº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,º
keep not silence,ºº |

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Yerushalaim, [which] shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of Yahweh, keep not silence, |

And giveºº
him noº
rest,º
tillº
he establish,ºº
and tillº
he makeººº

יְרוּשָׁלִַםº
a praiseº
in the earth.º |
|
62:7
And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Yerushalaim a praise in the earth. |

62:8
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
hath swornºº
by his right hand,º
and by the armº
of his strength,º
Surely I willº
noº
moreº
giveººº
thy cornº
[to be] meatº
for thine enemies;ºº
and the sonsº
of the strangerº
shall notº
drinkºº
thy wine,º
for the whichº
thou hast laboured:ºº |

Yahweh hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn [to be] meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured: |

Butº
they that have gatheredºº
it shall eatºº
it, and praiseººº
Yähwè
יָהוֶה;º
and they that have brought it togetherºº
shall drinkºº
it in the courtsº
of my holiness.º |

But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise Yahweh; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness. |

Go through,ºº
go throughºº
the gates;º
prepareºº
ye the wayº
of the people;º
cast up,ºº
cast upºº
the highway;º
gather outºº
the stones;ºº
lift upºº
a standardº
forº
the people.º |

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. |

Behold,º
Yähwè
יָהוֶהº
hath proclaimedºº
untoº
the endº
of the world,º
Sayºº
ye to the daughterº
of
Xiyyôn
צִיּוֹן,º
Behold,º
thy salvationº
cometh;ºº
behold,º
his rewardº
[is] withº
him, and his workº
beforeº
him. |

Behold, Yahweh hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Tziyyon, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward [is] with him, and his work before him. |

62:12
And they shall callºº
them, The holyº
people,º
The redeemedºº
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה:º
and thou shalt be called,ºº
Sought out,ºº
A cityº
notº
forsaken.ºº |

62:12
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of Yahweh: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken. |
