 36:1 ¶ And the chief 7218 fathers 1 of the families 4940 of the children 1121 of Gil`äđ גִּלעָד, 1568 the son 1121 of Mäȼîr מָכִיר, 4353 the son 1121 of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה, 4519 of the families 4940 x4480 of the sons 1121 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 came near, 7126 z8799 and spake 1696 z8762 before 6440 Möšè מֹשֶׁה, 4872 and before 6440 the princes, 5387 the chief 7218 fathers 1 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478

וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶת־אֲדֹנִי צִוָּה יְהוָה לָתֵת אֶת־הָאָרֶץ בְּנַחֲלָה בְּגוֹרָל לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַאדֹנִי צֻוָּה בַיהוָה לָתֵת אֶת־נַחֲלַת צְלָפְחָד אָחִינוּ לִבְנֹתָיו

 36:2 waYom'rû et-ádoniy tziûäh y'hwäh lätët et-hääretz B'nacháläh B'gôräl liv'nëy yis'räël wadoniy tzuûäh vayhwäh lätët et-nachálat tz'läf'chäd ächiynû liv'notäyw

 36:2 And they said, 559 z8799 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 to give 5414 z8800 x853 the land 776 for an inheritance 5159 by lot 1486 to the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478 and my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 was commanded 6680 z8795 by Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 to give 5414 z8800 x853 the inheritance 5159 of Xælofçäđ צְלָפחָד 6765 our brother 251 unto his daughters. 1323

וְהָיוּ לְאֶחָד מִבְּנֵי שִׁבְטֵי בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לְנָשִׁים וְנִגְרְעָה נַחֲלָתָן מִנַּחֲלַת אֲבֹתֵינוּ וְנוֹסַף עַל נַחֲלַת הַמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר תִּהְיֶינָה לָהֶם וּמִגֹּרַל נַחֲלָתֵנוּ יִגָּרֵעַ

 36:3 w'häyû l'echäd miB'nëy shiv'ţëy v'nëy-yis'räël l'näshiym w'nig'r'äh nachálätän miNachálat ávotëynû w'nôšaf al nachálat haMaŢeh ásher Tih'yeynäh lähem ûmiGoral nachálätënû yiGärëª

 36:3 And if they be married 802 x1961 to any 259 of the sons 1121 x4480 of the [other] tribes 7626 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 then shall their inheritance 5159 be taken 1639 z8738 from the inheritance 5159 x4480 of our fathers, 1 and shall be put 3254 z8738 to x5921 the inheritance 5159 of the tribe 4294 whereunto x834 they are received: x1961 so shall it be taken 1639 z8735 from the lot 1486 x4480 of our inheritance. 5159

וְאִם־יִהְיֶה הַיֹּבֵל לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְנוֹסְפָה נַחֲלָתָן עַל נַחֲלַת הַמַּטֶּה אֲשֶׁר תִּהְיֶינָה לָהֶם וּמִנַּחֲלַת מַטֵּה אֲבֹתֵינוּ יִגָּרַע נַחֲלָתָן

 36:4 w'im-yih'yeh haYovël liv'nëy yis'räël w'nôš'fäh nachálätän al nachálat haMaŢeh ásher Tih'yeynäh lähem ûmiNachálat maŢëh ávotëynû yiGära nachálätän

 36:4 And when x518 the jubile 3104 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 shall be, x1961 then shall their inheritance 5159 be put 3254 z8738 unto x5921 the inheritance 5159 of the tribe 4294 whereunto x834 they are received: x1961 so shall their inheritance 5159 be taken away 1639 z8735 from the inheritance 5159 x4480 of the tribe 4294 of our fathers. 1

וַיְצַו מֹשֶׁה אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַל־פִּי יְהוָה לֵאמֹר כֵּן מַטֵּה בְנֵי־יוֹסֵף דֹּבְרִים

 36:5 way'tzaw mosheh et-B'nëy yis'räël al-Piy y'hwäh lëmor Kën maŢëh v'nëy-yôšëf Dov'riym

 36:5 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 commanded 6680 z8762 x853 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 according to x5921 the word 6310 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 saying, 559 z8800 The tribe 4294 of the sons 1121 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף 3130 hath said 1696 z8802 well. x3651

זֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה לִבְנוֹת צְלָפְחָד לֵאמֹר לַטּוֹב בְּעֵינֵיהֶם תִּהְיֶינָה לְנָשִׁים אַךְ לְמִשְׁפַּחַת מַטֵּה אֲבִיהֶם תִּהְיֶינָה לְנָשִׁים

 36:6 zeh haDävär ásher-tziûäh y'hwäh liv'nôt tz'läf'chäd lëmor laŢôv B'ëynëyhem Tih'yeynäh l'näshiym akh' l'mish'Pachat maŢëh áviyhem Tih'yeynäh l'näshiym

וְלֹא־תִסֹּב נַחֲלָה לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִמַּטֶּה אֶל־מַטֶּה כִּי אִישׁ בְּנַחֲלַת מַטֵּה אֲבֹתָיו יִדְבְּקוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 36:7 w'lo-tiŠov nacháläh liv'nëy yis'räël miMaŢeh el-maŢeh Kiy iysh B'nachálat maŢëh ávotäyw yid'B'qû B'nëy yis'räël

 36:7 So shall not x3808 the inheritance 5159 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 remove 5437 z8735 from tribe 4294 x4480 to x413 tribe: 4294 for x3588 every one 376 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 shall keep 1692 z8799 himself to the inheritance 5159 of the tribe 4294 of his fathers. 1

וְכָל־בַּת יֹרֶשֶׁת נַחֲלָה מִמַּטּוֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְאֶחָד מִמִּשְׁפַּחַת מַטֵּה אָבִיהָ תִּהְיֶה לְאִשָּׁה לְמַעַן יִירְשׁוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אִישׁ נַחֲלַת אֲבֹתָיו

 36:8 w'khäl-Bat yoreshet nacháläh miMaŢôt B'nëy yis'räël l'echäd miMish'Pachat maŢëh äviyhä Tih'yeh l'iSHäh l'maan yiyr'shû B'nëy yis'räël iysh nachálat ávotäyw

 36:8 And every x3605 daughter, 1323 that possesseth 3423 z8802 an inheritance 5159 in any tribe 4294 x4480 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 shall be x1961 wife 802 unto one 259 of the family 4940 x4480 of the tribe 4294 of her father, 1 that x4616 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 may enjoy 3423 z8799 every man 376 the inheritance 5159 of his fathers. 1

וְלֹא־תִסֹּב נַחֲלָה מִמַּטֶּה לְמַטֶּה אַחֵר כִּי־אִישׁ בְּנַחֲלָתוֹ יִדְבְּקוּ מַטּוֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 36:9 w'lo-tiŠov nacháläh miMaŢeh l'maŢeh achër Kiy-iysh B'nachálätô yid'B'qû maŢôt B'nëy yis'räël

 36:9 Neither x3808 shall the inheritance 5159 remove 5437 z8735 from [one] tribe 4294 x4480 to another 312 tribe; 4294 but x3588 every one 376 of the tribes 4294 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 shall keep 1692 z8799 himself to his own inheritance. 5159

כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ בְּנוֹת צְלָפְחָד

וַתִּהְיֶינָה מַחְלָה תִרְצָה וְחָגְלָה וּמִלְכָּה וְנֹעָה בְּנוֹת צְלָפְחָד לִבְנֵי דֹדֵיהֶן לְנָשִׁים

 36:11 waTih'yeynäh mach'läh tir'tzäh w'chäg'läh ûmil'Käh w'noäh B'nôt tz'läf'chäd liv'nëy dodëyhen l'näshiym

 36:11 For Maçlà מַחלָה, 4244 Tirxà תִּרצָה, 8656 and Çoqlà חָגלָה, 2295 and Milcà מִלכָּה, 4435 and Nöåç נֹחַ, 5270 the daughters 1323 of Xælofçäđ צְלָפחָד, 6765 were married 802 x1961 unto their father's y1730 brothers' x1730 sons: 1121

מִמִּשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי־מְנַשֶּׁה בֶן־יוֹסֵף הָיוּ לְנָשִׁים וַתְּהִי נַחֲלָתָן עַל־מַטֵּה מִשְׁפַּחַת אֲבִיהֶן

 36:12 miMish'P'chot B'nëy-m'naSHeh ven-yôšëf häyû l'näshiym waT'hiy nachálätän al-maŢëh mish'Pachat áviyhen

 36:12 [And] they were married 802 x1961 into the families 4940 x4480 of the sons 1121 of Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה 4519 the son 1121 of Yôsëf יוֹסֵף, 3130 and their inheritance 5159 remained x1961 in x5921 the tribe 4294 of the family 4940 of their father. 1

אֵלֶּה הַמִּצְוֹת וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה אֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעַרְבֹת מוֹאָב עַל יַרְדֵּן יְרֵחוֹ
