וַיְדַבֵּר מֹשֶׁה אֶל־הָעָם לֵאמֹר הֵחָלְצוּ מֵאִתְּכֶם אֲנָשִׁים לַצָּבָא וְיִהְיוּ עַל־מִדְיָן לָתֵת נִקְמַת־יְהוָה בְּמִדְיָן

וַיִּמָּסְרוּ מֵאַלְפֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶלֶף לַמַּטֶּה שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂר אֶלֶף חֲלוּצֵי צָבָא

וַיִּשְׁלַח אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה אֶלֶף לַמַּטֶּה לַצָּבָא אֹתָם וְאֶת־פִּינְחָס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן לַצָּבָא וּכְלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ וַחֲצֹצְרוֹת הַתְּרוּעָה בְּיָדוֹ

וַיִּקְחוּ אֶת־כָּל־הַשָּׁלָל וְאֵת כָּל־הַמַּלְקוֹחַ בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה

וַיִּקְצֹף מֹשֶׁה עַל פְּקוּדֵי הֶחָיִל שָׂרֵי הָאֲלָפִים וְשָׂרֵי הַמֵּאוֹת הַבָּאִים מִצְּבָא הַמִּלְחָמָה

הֵן הֵנָּה הָיוּ לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בִּדְבַר בִּלְעָם לִמְסָר־מַעַל בַּיהוָה עַל־דְּבַר־פְּעוֹר וַתְּהִי הַמַּגֵּפָה בַּעֲדַת יְהוָה

וְכֹל הַטַּף בַּנָּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָדְעוּ מִשְׁכַּב זָכָר הַחֲיוּ לָכֶם

 31:18 w'khol haŢaf BaNäshiym ásher lo-yäd'û mish'Kav zäkhär hacháyû läkhem

 31:18 But all x3605 the women 802 children, 2945 that x834 have not x3808 known 3045 z8804 a man 2145 by lying 4904 with him, keep alive 2421 z8685 for yourselves.

וְאַתֶּם חֲנוּ מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה שִׁבְעַת יָמִים כֹּל הֹרֵג נֶפֶשׁ וְכֹל נֹגֵעַ בֶּחָלָל תִּתְחַטְּאוּ בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי וּבַיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי אַתֶּם וּשְׁבִיכֶם

 31:19 w'aTem chánû michûtz laMacháneh shiv'at yämiym Kol horëg nefesh w'khol nogëª Bechäläl Tit'chaŢ'û BaYôm haSH'liyshiy ûvaYôm haSH'viyiy aTem ûsh'viykhem

 31:19 And do ye x859 abide 2583 z8798 without 2351 x4480 the camp 4264 seven 7651 days: 3117 whosoever x3605 hath killed 2026 z8802 any person, 5315 and whosoever x3605 hath touched 5060 z8802 any slain, 2491 purify 2398 z8691 [both] yourselves x859 and your captives 7628 on the third 7992 day, 3117 and on the seventh 7637 day. 3117

 31:20 w'khäl-Beged w'khäl-K'liy-ôr w'khäl-maásëh iZiym w'khäl-K'liy-ëtz Tit'chaŢäû š

 31:20 And purify 2398 z8691 all x3605 [your] raiment, 899 and all x3605 that is made 3627 of skins, 5785 and all x3605 work 4639 of goats' 5795 [hair], and all x3605 things x3627 made y3627 of wood. 6086

וַיֹּאמֶר אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֶל־אַנְשֵׁי הַצָּבָא הַבָּאִים לַמִּלְחָמָה זֹאת חֻקַּת הַתּוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה

 31:21 ¶ And ´El`äzär אֶלעָזָר 499 the priest 3548 said 559 z8799 unto x413 the men y582 x376 of war 6635 which went 935 z8802 to the battle, 4421 This x2063 [is] the ordinance 2708 of the law 8451 which x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Möšè מֹשֶׁה; 4872

אַךְ אֶת־הַזָּהָב וְאֶת־הַכָּסֶף אֶת־הַנְּחֹשֶׁת אֶת־הַבַּרְזֶל אֶת־הַבְּדִיל וְאֶת־הָעֹפָרֶת

שָׂא אֵת רֹאשׁ מַלְקוֹחַ הַשְּׁבִי בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה אַתָּה וְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן וְרָאשֵׁי אֲבוֹת הָעֵדָה

וַהֲרֵמֹתָ מֶכֶס לַיהוָה מֵאֵת אַנְשֵׁי הַמִּלְחָמָה הַיֹּצְאִים לַצָּבָא אֶחָד נֶפֶשׁ מֵחֲמֵשׁ הַמֵּאוֹת מִן־הָאָדָם וּמִן־הַבָּקָר וּמִן־הַחֲמֹרִים וּמִן־הַצֹּאן

מִמַּחֲצִיתָם תִּקָּחוּ וְנָתַתָּה לְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן תְּרוּמַת יְהוָה

 31:30 And of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël's יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 half, 4276 x4480 thou shalt take 3947 z8799 one 259 portion 270 z8803 of x4480 fifty, 2572 of x4480 the persons, 120 of x4480 the beeves, 1241 of x4480 the asses, 2543 and of x4480 the flocks, 6629 of all manner x4480 x3605 of beasts, 929 and give 5414 z8804 them unto the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם, 3881 which keep 8104 z8802 the charge 4931 of the tabernacle 4908 of Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

וְנֶפֶשׁ אָדָם מִן־הַנָּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָדְעוּ מִשְׁכַּב זָכָר כָּל־נֶפֶשׁ שְׁנַיִם וּשְׁלֹשִׁים אָלֶף

 31:35 w'nefesh ädäm min-haNäshiym ásher lo-yäd'û mish'Kav zäkhär Käl-nefesh sh'nayim ûsh'loshiym älef

 31:35 And thirty 7970 and two 8147 thousand 505 persons 5315 120 in all, 3605 x5315 of x4480 women 802 that x834 had not x3808 known 3045 z8804 man y2145 by lying y4904 with x4904 him. x2145

וַתְּהִי הַמֶּחֱצָה חֵלֶק הַיֹּצְאִים בַּצָּבָא מִסְפַּר הַצֹּאן שְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאוֹת אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשִׁים אֶלֶף וְשִׁבְעַת אֲלָפִים וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת

 31:36 waT'hiy haMechétzäh chëleq haYotz'iym BaTZävä miš'Par haTZon sh'losh-mëôt elef ûsh'loshiym elef w'shiv'at áläfiym wachámësh mëôt

 31:36 And the half, 4275 [which was] the portion 2506 of them that went out 3318 z8802 to war, 6635 was x1961 in number 4557 three 7969 hundred 3967 thousand 505 and seven 7651 and thirty 7970 thousand 505 and five 2568 hundred 3967 sheep: 6629

וַיְהִי הַמֶּכֶס לַיהוָה מִן־הַצֹּאן שֵׁשׁ מֵאוֹת חָמֵשׁ וְשִׁבְעִים

 31:37 way'hiy haMekheš layhwäh min-haTZon shësh mëôt chämësh w'shiv'iym

 31:37 And Yähwè's יָהוֶה 3068 tribute 4371 of x4480 the sheep 6629 was x1961 six 8337 hundred 3967 and threescore and fifteen. 7657 2568

וְהַבָּקָר שִׁשָּׁה וּשְׁלֹשִׁים אָלֶף וּמִכְסָם לַיהוָה שְׁנַיִם וְשִׁבְעִים

 31:38 And the beeves 1241 [were] thirty 7970 and six 8337 thousand; 505 of which Yähwè's יָהוֶה 3068 tribute 4371 [was] threescore and twelve. 7657 8147

וַחֲמֹרִים שְׁלֹשִׁים אֶלֶף וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת וּמִכְסָם לַיהוָה אֶחָד וְשִׁשִּׁים

 31:39 wachámoriym sh'loshiym elef wachámësh mëôt ûmikh'šäm layhwäh echäd w'shiSHiym

 31:39 And the asses 2543 [were] thirty 7970 thousand 505 and five 2568 hundred; 3967 of which Yähwè's יָהוֶה 3068 tribute 4371 [was] threescore 8346 and one. 259

וְנֶפֶשׁ אָדָם שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר אָלֶף וּמִכְסָם לַיהוָה שְׁנַיִם וּשְׁלֹשִׁים נָפֶשׁ

 31:40 And the persons 120 5315 [were] sixteen 8337 6240 thousand; 505 of which Yähwè's יָהוֶה 3068 tribute 4371 [was] thirty 7970 and two 8147 persons. 5315

וַיִּתֵּן מֹשֶׁה אֶת־מֶכֶס תְּרוּמַת יְהוָה לְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה

 31:41 waYiTën mosheh et-mekheš T'rûmat y'hwäh l'el'äzär haKohën Kaásher tziûäh y'hwäh et-mosheh

 31:41 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 gave 5414 z8799 x853 the tribute, 4371 [which was] Yähwè's יָהוֶה 3068 heave offering, 8641 unto ´El`äzär אֶלעָזָר 499 the priest, 3548 as x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Möšè מֹשֶׁה. 4872

וּמִמַּחֲצִית בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר חָצָה מֹשֶׁה מִן־הָאֲנָשִׁים הַצֹּבְאִים

 31:42 ûmiMachátziyt B'nëy yis'räël ásher chätzäh mosheh min-häánäshiym haTZov'iym

 31:42 And of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël's יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 half, 4276 x4480 which x834 Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 divided 2673 z8804 from x4480 the men y582 x376 that warred, 6633 z8802

וַתְּהִי מֶחֱצַת הָעֵדָה מִן־הַצֹּאן שְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאוֹת אֶלֶף וּשְׁלֹשִׁים אֶלֶף שִׁבְעַת אֲלָפִים וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת

וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה מִמַּחֲצִת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־הָאָחֻז אֶחָד מִן־הַחֲמִשִּׁים מִן־הָאָדָם וּמִן־הַבְּהֵמָה וַיִּתֵּן אֹתָם לַלְוִיִּם שֹׁמְרֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת מִשְׁכַּן יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה

 31:47 waYiQach mosheh miMachátzit B'nëy-yis'räël et-häächuz echäd min-hachámiSHiym min-häädäm ûmin-haB'hëmäh waYiTën otäm lal'wiYim shom'rëy mish'meret mish'Kan y'hwäh Kaásher tziûäh y'hwäh et-mosheh

 31:47 Even of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël's יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 half, 4276 x4480 Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 took 3947 z8799 one 259 x853 portion 270 z8803 of x4480 fifty, 2572 [both] of x4480 man 120 and of x4480 beast, 929 and gave 5414 z8799 them unto the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם, 3881 which kept 8104 z8802 the charge 4931 of the tabernacle 4908 of Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 as x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Möšè מֹשֶׁה. 4872

וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל־מֹשֶׁה עֲבָדֶיךָ נָשְׂאוּ אֶת־רֹאשׁ אַנְשֵׁי הַמִּלְחָמָה אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדֵנוּ וְלֹא־נִפְקַד מִמֶּנּוּ אִישׁ

 31:49 waYom'rû el-mosheh ávädeykhä näs'û et-rosh an'shëy haMil'chämäh ásher B'yädënû w'lo-nif'qad miMeNû iysh

וַנַּקְרֵב אֶת־קָרְבַּן יְהוָה אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר מָצָא כְלִי־זָהָב אֶצְעָדָה וְצָמִיד טַבַּעַת עָגִיל וְכוּמָז לְכַפֵּר עַל־נַפְשֹׁתֵינוּ לִפְנֵי יְהוָה

 31:50 waNaq'rëv et-qär'Ban y'hwäh iysh ásher mätzä kh'liy-zähäv etz'ädäh w'tzämiyd ţaBaat ägiyl w'khûmäz l'khaPër al-naf'shotëynû lif'nëy y'hwäh

 31:50 We have therefore brought 7126 z8686 x853 an oblation 7133 for Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 what x834 every man 376 hath gotten, 4672 z8804 of jewels 3627 of gold, 2091 chains, 685 and bracelets, 6781 rings, 2885 earrings, 5694 and tablets, 3558 to make an atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 our souls 5315 before 6440 Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה וְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת־הַזָּהָב מֵאִתָּם כֹּל כְּלִי מַעֲשֶׂה

 31:51 waYiQach mosheh w'el'äzär haKohën et-haZähäv mëiTäm Kol K'liy maáseh

 31:51 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 and ´El`äzär אֶלעָזָר 499 the priest 3548 took 3947 z8799 x853 the gold 2091 of x4480 x854 them, [even] all x3605 wrought 4639 jewels. 3627

וַיְהִי כָּל־זְהַב הַתְּרוּמָה אֲשֶׁר הֵרִימוּ לַיהוָה שִׁשָּׁה עָשָׂר אֶלֶף שְׁבַע־מֵאוֹת וַחֲמִשִּׁים שָׁקֶל מֵאֵת שָׂרֵי הָאֲלָפִים וּמֵאֵת שָׂרֵי הַמֵּאוֹת

 31:52 way'hiy Käl-z'hav haT'rûmäh ásher hëriymû layhwäh shiSHäh äsär elef sh'va-mëôt wachámiSHiym shäqel mëët särëy häáläfiym ûmëët särëy haMëôt

 31:52 And all x3605 the gold 2091 of the offering 8641 that x834 they offered up 7311 z8689 to Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 of x4480 x854 the captains 8269 of thousands, 505 and of x4480 x854 the captains 8269 of hundreds, 3967 was x1961 sixteen 8337 6240 thousand 505 seven 7651 hundred 3967 and fifty 2572 shekels. 8255

אַנְשֵׁי הַצָּבָא בָּזְזוּ אִישׁ לוֹ

וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה וְאֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן אֶת־הַזָּהָב מֵאֵת שָׂרֵי הָאֲלָפִים וְהַמֵּאוֹת וַיָּבִאוּ אֹתוֹ אֶל־אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד זִכָּרוֹן לִבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לִפְנֵי יְהוָה פ

 31:54 waYiQach mosheh w'el'äzär haKohën et-haZähäv mëët särëy häáläfiym w'haMëôt waYäviû otô el-ohel môëd ziKärôn liv'nëy-yis'räël lif'nëy y'hwäh f

 31:54 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 and ´El`äzär אֶלעָזָר 499 the priest 3548 took 3947 z8799 x853 the gold 2091 of x4480 x854 the captains 8269 of thousands 505 and of hundreds, 3967 and brought 935 z8686 it into x413 the tabernacle 168 of the congregation, 4150 [for] a memorial 2146 for the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 before 6440 Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068
