דַּבֵּר אֶל־אַהֲרֹן וְאָמַרְתָּ אֵלָיו בְּהַעֲלֹתְךָ אֶת־הַנֵּרֹת אֶל־מוּל פְּנֵי הַמְּנוֹרָה יָאִירוּ שִׁבְעַת הַנֵּרוֹת

 8:2 DaBër el-aháron w'ämar'Tä ëläyw B'haálot'khä et-haNërot el-mûl P'nëy haM'nôräh yäiyrû shiv'at haNërôt

 8:2 Speak 1696 z8761 unto x413 ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן, 175 and say 559 z8804 unto x413 him, When thou lightest 5927 z8687 x853 the lamps, 5216 the seven 7651 lamps 5216 shall give light 215 z8686 over against 6440 4136 x413 the candlestick. 4501

וַיַּעַשׂ כֵּן אַהֲרֹן אֶל־מוּל פְּנֵי הַמְּנוֹרָה הֶעֱלָה נֵרֹתֶיהָ כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה

 8:3 waYaas Kën aháron el-mûl P'nëy haM'nôräh heéläh nëroteyhä Kaásher tziûäh y'hwäh et-mosheh

וְזֶה מַעֲשֵׂה הַמְּנֹרָה מִקְשָׁה זָהָב עַד־יְרֵכָהּ עַד־פִּרְחָהּ מִקְשָׁה הִוא כַּמַּרְאֶה אֲשֶׁר הֶרְאָה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשָׂה אֶת־הַמְּנֹרָה פ

 8:4 w'zeh maásëh haM'noräh miq'shäh zähäv ad-y'rëkhäH ad-Pir'chäH miq'shäh hiw KaMar'eh ásher her'äh y'hwäh et-mosheh Kën äsäh et-haM'noräh f

קַח אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְטִהַרְתָּ אֹתָם

 8:6 qach et-hal'wiYim miTôkh' B'nëy yis'räël w'ţihar'Tä otäm

 8:6 Take 3947 z8798 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 and cleanse 2891 z8765 them.

וְכֹה־תַעֲשֶׂה לָהֶם לְטַהֲרָם הַזֵּה עֲלֵיהֶם מֵי חַטָּאת וְהֶעֱבִירוּ תַעַר עַל־כָּל־בְּשָׂרָם וְכִבְּסוּ בִגְדֵיהֶם וְהִטֶּהָרוּ

 8:7 w'khoh-taáseh lähem l'ţaháräm haZëh álëyhem mëy chaŢät w'heéviyrû taar al-Käl-B'säräm w'khiB'šû vig'dëyhem w'hiŢehärû

 8:7 And thus x3541 shalt thou do 6213 z8799 unto them, to cleanse 2891 z8763 them: Sprinkle 5137 z8685 water 4325 of purifying 2403 upon x5921 them, and let them shave 8593 5674 z8689 x5921 all x3605 their flesh, 1320 and let them wash 3526 z8765 their clothes, 899 and [so] make themselves clean. 2891 z8694

וְלָקְחוּ פַּר בֶּן־בָּקָר וּמִנְחָתוֹ סֹלֶת בְּלוּלָה בַשָּׁמֶן וּפַר־שֵׁנִי בֶן־בָּקָר תִּקַּח לְחַטָּאת

 8:8 w'läq'chû Par Ben-Bäqär ûmin'chätô šolet B'lûläh vaSHämen ûfar-shëniy ven-Bäqär TiQach l'chaŢät

 8:8 Then let them take 3947 z8804 a young 1121 1241 bullock 6499 with his meat offering, 4503 [even] fine flour 5560 mingled 1101 z8803 with oil, 8081 and another 8145 young 1121 1241 bullock 6499 shalt thou take 3947 z8799 for a sin offering. 2403

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם לִפְנֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְהִקְהַלְתָּ אֶת־כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 8:9 w'hiq'rav'Tä et-hal'wiYim lif'nëy ohel môëd w'hiq'hal'Tä et-Käl-ádat B'nëy yis'räël

 8:9 And thou shalt bring 7126 z8689 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 before 6440 the tabernacle 168 of the congregation: 4150 and thou shalt gather 6950 z0 x853 the whole x3605 assembly 5712 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 together: y6950 z8689

וְהִקְרַבְתָּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וְסָמְכוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־יְדֵיהֶם עַל־הַלְוִיִּם

 8:10 w'hiq'rav'Tä et-hal'wiYim lif'nëy y'hwäh w'šäm'khû v'nëy-yis'räël et-y'dëyhem al-hal'wiYim

 8:10 And thou shalt bring 7126 z8689 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 before 6440 Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 and the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 shall put 5564 z8804 x853 their hands 3027 upon x5921 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם: 3881

וְהֵנִיף אַהֲרֹן אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם תְּנוּפָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהָיוּ לַעֲבֹד אֶת־עֲבֹדַת יְהוָה

 8:11 w'hëniyf aháron et-hal'wiYim T'nûfäh lif'nëy y'hwäh mëët B'nëy yis'räël w'häyû laávod et-ávodat y'hwäh

 8:11 And ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן 175 shall offer 5130 z8689 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 before 6440 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 [for] an offering 8573 of x4480 x854 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 that they may execute 5647 z8800 x1961 x853 the service 5656 of Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

וְהַלְוִיִּם יִסְמְכוּ אֶת־יְדֵיהֶם עַל רֹאשׁ הַפָּרִים וַעֲשֵׂה אֶת־הָאֶחָד חַטָּאת וְאֶת־הָאֶחָד עֹלָה לַיהוָה לְכַפֵּר עַל־הַלְוִיִּם

 8:12 w'hal'wiYim yiš'm'khû et-y'dëyhem al rosh haPäriym waásëh et-häechäd chaŢät w'et-häechäd oläh layhwäh l'khaPër al-hal'wiYim

 8:12 And the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 shall lay 5564 z8799 x853 their hands 3027 upon x5921 the heads 7218 of the bullocks: 6499 and thou shalt offer 6213 z8798 x853 the one 259 [for] a sin offering, 2403 and the other 259 [for] a burnt offering, 5930 unto Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 to make an atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם. 3881

וְהַעֲמַדְתָּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם לִפְנֵי אַהֲרֹן וְלִפְנֵי בָנָיו וְהֵנַפְתָּ אֹתָם תְּנוּפָה לַיהוָה

 8:13 w'haámad'Tä et-hal'wiYim lif'nëy aháron w'lif'nëy vänäyw w'hënaf'Tä otäm T'nûfäh layhwäh

 8:13 And thou shalt set 5975 z8689 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 before 6440 ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן, 175 and before 6440 his sons, 1121 and offer 5130 z8689 them [for] an offering 8573 unto Yähwè יָהוֶה. 3068

וְהִבְדַּלְתָּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהָיוּ לִי הַלְוִיִּם

 8:14 w'hiv'Dal'Tä et-hal'wiYim miTôkh' B'nëy yis'räël w'häyû liy hal'wiYim

 8:14 Thus shalt thou separate 914 z8689 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478 and the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 shall be x1961 mine.

וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן יָבֹאוּ הַלְוִיִּם לַעֲבֹד אֶת־אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְטִהַרְתָּ אֹתָם וְהֵנַפְתָּ אֹתָם תְּנוּפָה

 8:15 w'achárëy-khën yävoû hal'wiYim laávod et-ohel môëd w'ţihar'Tä otäm w'hënaf'Tä otäm T'nûfäh

 8:15 And after 310 that x3651 shall the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 go in 935 z8799 to do the service 5647 z8800 x853 of the tabernacle 168 of the congregation: 4150 and thou shalt cleanse 2891 z8765 them, and offer 5130 z8689 them [for] an offering. 8573

כִּי נְתֻנִים נְתֻנִים הֵמָּה לִי מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תַּחַת פִּטְרַת כָּל־רֶחֶם בְּכוֹר כֹּל מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָקַחְתִּי אֹתָם לִי

 8:16 Kiy n'tuniym n'tuniym hëMäh liy miTôkh' B'nëy yis'räël Tachat Piţ'rat Käl-rechem B'khôr Kol miB'nëy yis'räël läqach'Tiy otäm liy

 8:16 For x3588 they x1992 [are] wholly given 5414 z8803 unto me from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל; 3478 instead of x8478 such as open 6363 every x3605 womb, 7358 [even instead of] the firstborn 1060 of all x3605 the children 1121 x4480 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 have I taken 3947 z8804 them unto me.

כִּי לִי כָל־בְּכוֹר בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּאָדָם וּבַבְּהֵמָה בְּיוֹם הַכֹּתִי כָל־בְּכוֹר בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם הִקְדַּשְׁתִּי אֹתָם לִי

 8:17 Kiy liy khäl-B'khôr Biv'nëy yis'räël Bäädäm ûvaB'hëmäh B'yôm haKotiy khäl-B'khôr B'eretz mitz'rayim hiq'Dash'Tiy otäm liy

 8:17 For x3588 all x3605 the firstborn 1060 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 [are] mine, [both] man 120 and beast: 929 on the day 3117 that I smote 5221 z8687 every x3605 firstborn 1060 in the land 776 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 I sanctified 6942 z8689 them for myself.

וָאֶקַּח אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם תַּחַת כָּל־בְּכוֹר בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 8:18 wäeQach et-hal'wiYim Tachat Käl-B'khôr Biv'nëy yis'räël

 8:18 And I have taken 3947 z8799 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 for x8478 all x3605 the firstborn 1060 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל. 3478

וָאֶתְּנָה אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם נְתֻנִים לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַעֲבֹד אֶת־עֲבֹדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וּלְכַפֵּר עַל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלֹא יִהְיֶה בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל נֶגֶף בְּגֶשֶׁת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁ

 8:19 And I have given 5414 z8799 x853 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 [as] a gift 5414 z8803 to ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן 175 and to his sons 1121 from among 8432 x4480 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 to do 5647 z8800 x853 the service 5656 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 in the tabernacle 168 of the congregation, 4150 and to make an atonement 3722 z8763 for x5921 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478 that there be x1961 no x3808 plague 5063 among the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 when the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 come nigh 5066 z8800 unto x413 the sanctuary. 6944

וַיַּעַשׂ מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן וְכָל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לַלְוִיִּם כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה לַלְוִיִּם כֵּן־עָשׂוּ לָהֶם בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

 8:20 And Möšè מֹשֶׁה, 4872 and ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן, 175 and all x3605 the congregation 5712 of the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 did 6213 z8799 to the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 according unto all x3605 that x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 concerning the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם, 3881 so x3651 did 6213 z8804 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 unto them.

וַיִּתְחַטְּאוּ הַלְוִיִּם וַיְכַבְּסוּ בִּגְדֵיהֶם וַיָּנֶף אַהֲרֹן אֹתָם תְּנוּפָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וַיְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיהֶם אַהֲרֹן לְטַהֲרָם

 8:21 And the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 were purified, 2398 z8691 and they washed 3526 z8762 their clothes; 899 and ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן 175 offered 5130 z8686 them [as] an offering 8573 before 6440 Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 and ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן 175 made an atonement 3722 z8762 for x5921 them to cleanse 2891 z8763 them.

וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵן בָּאוּ הַלְוִיִּם לַעֲבֹד אֶת־עֲבֹדָתָם בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לִפְנֵי אַהֲרֹן וְלִפְנֵי בָנָיו כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה עַל־הַלְוִיִּם כֵּן עָשׂוּ לָהֶם ס

 8:22 w'achárëy-khën Bäû hal'wiYim laávod et-ávodätäm B'ohel môëd lif'nëy aháron w'lif'nëy vänäyw Kaásher tziûäh y'hwäh et-mosheh al-hal'wiYim Kën äsû lähem š

 8:22 And after 310 that x3651 went y935 z8804 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם y3881 in x935 x3881 to do 5647 z8800 x853 their service 5656 in the tabernacle 168 of the congregation 4150 before 6440 ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן, 175 and before 6440 his sons: 1121 as x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 had commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Möšè מֹשֶׁה 4872 concerning x5921 the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם, 3881 so x3651 did 6213 z8804 they unto them.

 8:23 ¶ And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 spake 1696 z8762 unto x413 Möšè מֹשֶׁה, 4872 saying, 559 z8800

זֹאת אֲשֶׁר לַלְוִיִּם מִבֶּן חָמֵשׁ וְעֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה יָבוֹא לִצְבֹא צָבָא בַּעֲבֹדַת אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד

 8:24 zot ásher lal'wiYim miBen chämësh w'es'riym shänäh wäma'läh yävô litz'vo tzävä Baávodat ohel môëd

 8:24 This x2063 [is it] that x834 [belongeth] unto the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם: 3881 from twenty 6242 and five 2568 years 8141 old 1121 x4480 and upward 4605 they shall go in 935 z8799 to wait y6633 z8800 y6635 upon x6633 x6635 the service 5656 of the tabernacle 168 of the congregation: 4150

וּמִבֶּן חֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה יָשׁוּב מִצְּבָא הָעֲבֹדָה וְלֹא יַעֲבֹד עוֹד

 8:25 ûmiBen chámiSHiym shänäh yäshûv miTZ'vä häávodäh w'lo yaávod ôd

 8:25 And from the age 1121 x4480 of fifty 2572 years 8141 they shall cease y7725 z8799 waiting y6635 upon x7725 x4480 x6635 the service 5656 [thereof], and shall serve 5647 z8799 no x3808 more: x5750

וְשֵׁרֵת אֶת־אֶחָיו בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לִשְׁמֹר מִשְׁמֶרֶת וַעֲבֹדָה לֹא יַעֲבֹד כָּכָה תַּעֲשֶׂה לַלְוִיִּם בְּמִשְׁמְרֹתָם פ

 8:26 w'shërët et-echäyw B'ohel môëd lish'mor mish'meret waávodäh lo yaávod Käkhäh Taáseh lal'wiYim B'mish'm'rotäm f

 8:26 But shall minister 8334 z8765 with x854 their brethren 251 in the tabernacle 168 of the congregation, 4150 to keep 8104 z8800 the charge, 4931 and shall do 5647 z8799 no x3808 service. 5656 Thus x3602 shalt thou do 6213 z8799 unto the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם 3881 touching their charge. 4931
