Genesis 8

1 The waters asswage. 4 The ark resteth on Ararat. 7 The raven and the dove. 15 Noah, being commanded, 18 goeth forth of the ark. 20 He buildeth an altar, and offereth sacrifice, 21 which God accepteth, and promiseth to curse the earth no more.

 8:1 But God 430 remembered 2142 Noah 5146 and all 3605 the beasts 2421b and all 3605 the cattle 929 that were with him in the ark 8392; and God 430 caused a wind 7307 to pass 5674a over 5921 the earth 776, and the water 4325 subsided 7918.

 8:2 Also the fountains 4599 of the deep 8415 and the floodgates 699 of the sky 8064 were closed 5534a, and the rain 1653 from the sky 8064 was restrained 3607;

 8:3 and the water 4325 receded 7725 steadily 1980 from the earth 776, and at the end 7097a of one hundred 3967 and fifty 2572 days 3117 the water 4325 decreased 2637.

 8:4 In the seventh 7637 month 2320, on the seventeenth 7651 6240 day 3117 of the month 2320, the ark 8392 rested 5117 upon the mountains 2022 of Ararat 780.

 8:5 The water 4325 decreased 2637 steadily 1980 until 5704 the tenth 6224 month 2320; in the tenth 6224 month, on the first 259 day of the month 2320, the tops 7218 of the mountains 2022 became 7200 visible 7200.

 8:6 ¶ Then it came 1961 about at the end 7093 of forty 705 days 3117, that Noah 5146 opened 6605a the window 2474 of the ark 8392 which 834 he had made 6213a;

 8:7 and he sent 7971 out a raven 6158, and it flew 3318 here 3318 and there 7725 until 5704 the water 4325 was dried 3001 up from the earth 776.

 8:8 Then he sent 7971 out a dove 3123 from him, to see 7200 if the water 4325 was abated 7043 from the face 6440 of the land 127;

 8:9 but the dove 3123 found 4672 no 3808 resting 4494 place 4494 for the sole 3709 of her foot 7272, so she returned 7725 to him into the ark 8392, for the water 4325 was on the surface 6440 of all 3605 the earth 776. Then he put 7971 out his hand 3027 and took 3947 her, and brought 935 her into the ark 8392 to himself.

 8:10 So he waited 2342a yet 5750 another 312 seven 7651 days 3117; and again 3254 he sent 7971 out the dove 3123 from the ark 8392.

 8:11 The dove 3123 came 935 to him toward evening 6153, and behold 2009, in her beak 6310 was a freshly 2965 picked 2965 olive 2132 leaf 5929. So Noah 5146 knew 3045 that the water 4325 was abated 7043 from the earth 776.

 8:12 Then he waited 3176 yet 5750 another 312 seven 7651 days 3117, and sent 7971 out the dove 3123; but she did not return 7725 to him again 3254.

 8:13 ¶ Now it came 1961 about in the six 8337a hundred 3967 and first 259 year 8141, in the first 7223 [month], on the first 259 of the month 2320, the water 4325 was dried 2717a up from the earth 776. Then Noah 5146 removed 5493 the covering 4372 of the ark 8392, and looked 7200, and behold 2009, the surface 6440 of the ground 127 was dried 2717a up.

 8:14 In the second 8145 month 2320, on the twenty-seventh 6242 7651 day 3117 of the month 2320, the earth 776 was dry 3001.

 8:15 Then God 430 spoke 1696 to Noah 5146, saying 559,

 8:16 “Go 3318 out of the ark 8392, you and your wife 802 and your sons 1121 and your sons’ 1121 wives 802 with you.

 8:17 “Bring 3318 out with you every 3605 living 2421b thing 2421b of all 3605 flesh 1320 that is with you, birds 5775 and animals 929 and every 3605 creeping 7431 thing 7431 that creeps 7430 on the earth 776, that they may breed 8317 abundantly 8317 on the earth 776, and be fruitful 6509 and multiply 7235a on the earth 776.”

 8:18 So Noah 5146 went 3318 out, and his sons 1121 and his wife 802 and his sons’ 1121 wives 802 with him.

 8:19 Every 3605 beast 2421b, every 3605 creeping 7431 thing 7431, and every 3605 bird 5775, everything 3605 that moves 7430 on the earth 776, went 3318 out by their families 4940 from the ark 8392.

 8:20 ¶ Then Noah 5146 built 1129 an altar 4196 to the LORD 3068, and took 3947 of every 3605 clean 2889 animal 929 and of every 3605 clean 2889 bird 5775 and offered 5927 burnt 5930a offerings 5930a on the altar 4196.

 8:21 The LORD 3068 smelled 7381a the soothing 5207 aroma 7381b; and the LORD 3068 said 559 to Himself 3820, “I will never 3808 5750 again 3254 curse 7043 the ground 127 on account 5668 of man 120, for the intent 3336 of man’s 120 heart 3820 is evil 7451a from his youth 5271; and I will never 3808 5750 again 3254 destroy 5221 every 3605 living 2416a thing 2416a, as I have done 6213a.

 8:22 “While 5750 the earth 776 remains 5750, Seedtime 2233 and harvest 7105a, And cold 7120 and heat 2527, And summer 7019c and winter 2779, And day 3117 and night 3915 Shall not cease 7673a.”
