Genesis 5

1 The genealogy, age, and death of the patriarchs from Adam unto Noah. 24 The godliness and translation of Enoch.

 5:1 This 2088 is the book 5612 of the generations 8435 of Adam 121. In the day 3117 when God 430 created 1254a man 120, He made 6213a him in the likeness 1823 of God 430.

 5:2 He created 1254a them male 2145 and female 5347, and He blessed 1288 them and named 7121 8034 them Man 120 in the day 3117 when they were created 1254a.

 5:3 ¶ When Adam 121 had lived 2421a one hundred 3967 and thirty 7970 years 8141, he became 3205 the father 3205 of [a son] in his own likeness 1823, according to his image 6754, and named 7121 8034 him Seth 8352.

 5:4 Then the days 3117 of Adam 121 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Seth 8352 were eight 8083 hundred 3967 years 8141, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:5 So all 3605 the days 3117 that Adam 121 lived 2421a were nine 8672 hundred 3967 and thirty 7970 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:6 ¶ Seth 8352 lived 2421a one hundred 3967 and five 2568 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Enosh 583.

 5:7 Then Seth 8352 lived 2421a eight 8083 hundred 3967 and seven 7651 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Enosh 583, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:8 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Seth 8352 were nine 8672 hundred 3967 and twelve 8147 6240 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:9 ¶ Enosh 583 lived 2421a ninety 8673 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Kenan 7018.

 5:10 Then Enosh 583 lived 2421a eight 8083 hundred 3967 and fifteen 2568 6240 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Kenan 7018, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:11 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Enosh 583 were nine 8672 hundred 3967 and five 2568 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:12 ¶ Kenan 7018 lived 2421a seventy 7657 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Mahalalel 4111.

 5:13 Then Kenan 7018 lived 2421a eight 8083 hundred 3967 and forty 705 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Mahalalel 4111, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:14 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Kenan 7018 were nine 8672 hundred 3967 and ten 6235 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:15 ¶ Mahalalel 4111 lived 2421a sixty-five 8346 2568 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Jared 3382.

 5:16 Then Mahalalel 4111 lived 2421a eight 8083 hundred 3967 and thirty 7970 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Jared 3382, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:17 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Mahalalel 4111 were eight 8083 hundred 3967 and ninety-five 8673 2568 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:18 ¶ Jared 3382 lived 2421a one hundred 3967 and sixty-two 8346 8147 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Enoch 2585.

 5:19 Then Jared 3382 lived 2421a eight 8083 hundred 3967 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Enoch 2585, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:20 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Jared 3382 were nine 8672 hundred 3967 and sixty-two 8346 8147 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:21 ¶ Enoch 2585 lived 2421a sixty-five 8346 2568 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Methuselah 4968.

 5:22 Then Enoch 2585 walked 1980 with God 430 three 7969 hundred 3967 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Methuselah 4968, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:23 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Enoch 2585 were three 7969 hundred 3967 and sixty-five 8346 2568 years 8141.

 5:24 Enoch 2585 walked 1980 with God 430; and he was not, for God 430 took 3947 him.

 5:25 ¶ Methuselah 4968 lived 2421a one hundred 3967 and eighty-seven 8084 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of Lamech 3929.

 5:26 Then Methuselah 4968 lived 2421a seven 7651 hundred 3967 and eighty-two 8084 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Lamech 3929, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:27 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Methuselah 4968 were nine 8672 hundred 3967 and sixty-nine 8346 8672 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:28 ¶ Lamech 3929 lived 2421a one hundred 3967 and eighty-two 8084 years 8141, and became 3205 the father 3205 of a son 1121.

 5:29 Now he called 7121 his name 8034 Noah 5146, saying 559, “This 2088 one 2088 will give 5162 us rest 5162 from our work 4639 and from the toil 6093 of our hands 3027 [arising] from the ground 127 which 834 the LORD 3068 has cursed 779.”

 5:30 Then Lamech 3929 lived 2421a five 2568 hundred 3967 and ninety-five 8673 2568 years 8141 after 310 he became 3205 the father 3205 of Noah 5146, and he had 3205 [other] sons 1121 and daughters 1323.

 5:31 So all 3605 the days 3117 of Lamech 3929 were seven 7651 hundred 3967 and seventy-seven 7657 years 8141, and he died 4191.

 5:32 ¶ Noah 5146 was five 2568 hundred 3967 years 8141 old 1121, and Noah 5146 became 3205 the father 3205 of Shem 8035, Ham 2526, and Japheth 3315.
