 22:1 ¶ Then Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 said, 559 z8799 This x2088 [is] the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 and this x2088 [is] the altar 4196 of the burnt offering 5930 for Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל. 3478

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִיד לִכְנוֹס אֶת־הַגֵּרִים אֲשֶׁר בְּאֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּעֲמֵד חֹצְבִים לַחְצוֹב אַבְנֵי גָזִית לִבְנוֹת בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים

וּבַרְזֶל לָרֹב לַמִּסְמְרִים לְדַלְתוֹת הַשְּׁעָרִים וְלַמְחַבְּרוֹת הֵכִין דָּוִיד וּנְחֹשֶׁת לָרֹב אֵין מִשְׁקָל

 22:3 And Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 prepared 3559 z8689 iron 1270 in abundance 7230 for the nails 4548 for the doors 1817 of the gates, 8179 and for the joinings; 4226 and brass 5178 in abundance 7230 without x369 weight; 4948

וַעֲצֵי אֲרָזִים לְאֵין מִסְפָּר כִּי הֵבִיאוּ הַצִּידֹנִים וְהַצֹּרִים עֲצֵי אֲרָזִים לָרֹב לְדָוִיד פ

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִיד שְׁלֹמֹה בְנִי נַעַר וָרָךְ וְהַבַּיִת לִבְנוֹת לַיהוָה לְהַגְדִּיל לְמַעְלָה לְשֵׁם וּלְתִפְאֶרֶת לְכָל־הָאֲרָצוֹת אָכִינָה נָּא לוֹ וַיָּכֶן דָּוִיד לָרֹב לִפְנֵי מוֹתוֹ

 22:5 And Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 said, 559 z8799 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 my son 1121 [is] young 5288 and tender, 7390 and the house 1004 [that is] to be builded 1129 z8800 for Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 [must be] exceeding 4605 magnifical, 1431 z8687 of fame 8034 and of glory 8597 throughout all x3605 countries: 776 I will [therefore] now x4994 make preparation 3559 z8686 for it. וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִיד לִשְׁלֹמֹה *בְּנוֹ [בְּנִי] אֲנִי הָיָה עִם־לְבָבִי לִבְנוֹת בַּיִת לְשֵׁם יְהוָה אֱלֹהָי

וַיְהִי עָלַי דְּבַר־יְהוָה לֵאמֹר דָּם לָרֹב שָׁפַכְתָּ וּמִלְחָמוֹת גְּדֹלוֹת עָשִׂיתָ לֹא־תִבְנֶה בַיִת לִשְׁמִי כִּי דָּמִים רַבִּים שָׁפַכְתָּ אַרְצָה לְפָנָי
