 14:1 ¶ Now Çîräm חִירָם 2438 z8676 y2361 king 4428 of Xôr צוֹר 6865 sent 7971 z8799 messengers 4397 to x413 Däwiđ דָּוִד, 1732 and timber 6086 of cedars, 730 with masons 7023 x2796 and carpenters, 2796 x6086 to build 1129 z8800 him an house. 1004

וַיֵּדַע דָּוִיד כִּי־הֱכִינוֹ יְהוָה לְמֶלֶךְ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי־נִשֵּׂאת לְמַעְלָה מַלְכוּתוֹ בַּעֲבוּר עַמּוֹ יִשְׂרָאֵל פ

וְיִבְחָר וֶאֱלִישׁוּעַ וְאֶלְפָּלֶט

וְנֹגַהּ וְנֶפֶג וְיָפִיעַ

וֶאֱלִישָׁמָע וּבְעֶלְיָדָע וֶאֱלִיפָלֶט

וַיִּשְׁאַל דָּוִיד בֵּאלֹהִים לֵאמֹר הַאֶעֱלֶה עַל־*פְּלִשְׁתִּיִּים [פְּלִשְׁתִּים] וּנְתַתָּם בְּיָדִי וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ יְהוָה עֲלֵה וּנְתַתִּים בְּיָדֶךָ

 14:10 And Däwiđ דָּוִד 1732 enquired 7592 z8799 of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 saying, 559 z8800 Shall I go up 5927 z8799 against x5921 the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים? 6430 and wilt thou deliver 5414 z8804 them into mine hand? 3027 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 said 559 z8799 unto him, Go up; 5927 z8798 for I will deliver 5414 z8804 them into thine hand. 3027

וַיַּעֲלוּ בְּבַעַל־פְּרָצִים וַיַּכֵּם שָׁם דָּוִיד וַיֹּאמֶר דָּוִיד פָּרַץ הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת־אוֹיְבַי בְּיָדִי כְּפֶרֶץ מָיִם עַל־כֵּן קָרְאוּ שֵׁם־הַמָּקוֹם הַהוּא בַּעַל פְּרָצִים

וַיִּשְׁאַל עוֹד דָּוִיד בֵּאלֹהִים וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ הָאֱלֹהִים לֹא תַעֲלֶה אַחֲרֵיהֶם הָסֵב מֵעֲלֵיהֶם וּבָאתָ לָהֶם מִמּוּל הַבְּכָאִים

 14:15 And it shall be, x1961 when thou shalt hear 8085 z8800 x853 a sound 6963 of going 6807 in the tops 7218 of the mulberry trees, 1057 [that] then x227 thou shalt go out 3318 z8799 to battle: 4421 for x3588 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 is gone forth 3318 z8804 before 6440 thee to smite 5221 z8687 x853 the host 4264 of the Pælištîm פְּלִשׁתִּים. 6430
