Ezekiel 43

1 The returning of the glory of God into the Temple. 7 The sin of Israel hindered God's presence. 10 The prophet exhorteth them to repentance, and observation of the law of the house. 13 The measures, 18 and the ordinances of the altar.

 43:1 Then he led 1980 me to the gate 8179, the gate 8179 facing 6437 toward 1870 the east 6921;

 43:2 and behold 2009, the glory 3519b of the God 430 of Israel 3478 was coming 935 from the way 1870 of the east 6921. And His voice 6963 was like the sound 6963 of many 7227a waters 4325; and the earth 776 shone 215 with His glory 3519b.

 43:3 And [it was] like the appearance 4758 of the vision 4758 which 834 I saw 7200, like the vision 4758 which 834 I saw 7200 when He came 935 to destroy 7843 the city 5892b. And the visions 4759a [were] like the vision 4758 which 834 I saw 7200 by the river 5104 Chebar 3529; and I fell 5307 on my face 6440.

 43:4 And the glory 3519b of the LORD 3068 came 935 into the house 1004 by the way 1870 of the gate 8179 facing 6440 toward 1870 the east 6921.

 43:5 And the Spirit 7307 lifted 5375 me up and brought 935 me into the inner 6442 court 2691a; and behold 2009, the glory 3519b of the LORD 3068 filled 4390 the house 1004.

 43:6 ¶ Then I heard 8085 one speaking 1696 to me from the house 1004, while a man 376 was standing 5975 beside 681a me.

 43:7 He said 559 to me, “Son 1121 of man 120, [this is] the place 4725 of My throne 3678 and the place 4725 of the soles 3709 of My feet 7272, where 834 8033 I will dwell 7931 among 8432 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 forever 5769. And the house 1004 of Israel 3478 will not again 5750 defile 2930 My holy 6944 name 8034, neither they nor 3808 their kings 4428, by their harlotry 2184 and by the corpses 6297 of their kings 4428 when they die 4194,

 43:8 by setting 5414 their threshold 5592b by My threshold 5592b and their door 4201 post 4201 beside 681a My door 4201 post 4201, with [only] the wall 7023 between 996 Me and them. And they have defiled 2930 My holy 6944 name 8034 by their abominations 8441 which 834 they have committed 6213a. So I have consumed 3615 them in My anger 639.

 43:9 “Now 6258 let them put 7368 away 7368 their harlotry 2184 and the corpses 6297 of their kings 4428 far 7368 from Me; and I will dwell 7931 among 8432 them forever 5769.

 43:10 ¶ “As for you, son 1121 of man 120, describe 5046 the temple 1004 to the house 1004 of Israel 3478, that they may be ashamed 3637 of their iniquities 5771; and let them measure 4058 the plan 8508.

 43:11 “If 518 they are ashamed 3637 of all 3605 that they have done 6213a, make 3045 known 3045 to them the design 6699 of the house 1004, its structure 8499, its exits 4161, its entrances 4126, all 3605 its designs 6699, all 3605 its statutes 2708, and all 3605 its laws 8451. And write 3789 [it] in their sight 5869, so that they may observe 8104 its whole 3605 design 6699 and all 3605 its statutes 2708 and do 6213a them.

 43:12 “This 2088 is the law 8451 of the house 1004: its entire 3605 area 1366 on the top 7218 of the mountain 2022 all 5439 around 5439 [shall be] most 6944 holy 6944. Behold 2009, this 2088 is the law 8451 of the house 1004.

 43:13 ¶ “And these 428 are the measurements 4060a of the altar 4196 by cubits 520 (the cubit 520 being a cubit 520 and a handbreadth 2948): the base 2436 [shall be] a cubit 520 and the width 7341 a cubit 520, and its border 1366 on its edge 8193 round 5439 about 5439 one 259 span 2239; and this 2088 [shall be] the [height] of the base 1354 of the altar 4196.

 43:14 “From the base 2436 on the ground 776 to the lower 8481 ledge 5835 [shall be] two 8147 cubits 520 and the width 7341 one cubit 520; and from the smaller 6996a ledge 5835 to the larger 1419 ledge 5835 [shall be] four 702 cubits 520 and the width 7341 one 259 cubit 520.

 43:15 “The altar 741 hearth 741 [shall be] four 702 cubits 520; and from the altar 741 hearth 741 shall extend upwards 4605 four 702 horns 7161.

 43:16 “Now the altar 741 hearth 741 [shall be] twelve 8147 6240 [cubits] long 753 by twelve 8147 6240 wide 7341, square 7251 in its four 702 sides 7253.

 43:17 “The ledge 5835 [shall be] fourteen 702 6240 [cubits] long 753 by fourteen 702 6240 wide 7341 in its four 702 sides 7253, the border 1366 around 5439 it [shall be] half 2677 a cubit 520 and its base 2436 [shall be] a cubit 520 round 5439 about 5439; and its steps 4609b shall face 6437 the east 6921.”

 43:18 ¶ And He said 559 to me, “Son 1121 of man 120, thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, ‘These 428 are the statutes 2708 for the altar 4196 on the day 3117 it is built 6213a, to offer 5927 burnt 5930a offerings 5930a on it and to sprinkle 2236b blood 1818 on it.

 43:19 ‘You shall give 5414 to the Levitical 3881 priests 3548 who 834 are from the offspring 2233 of Zadok 6659, who draw 7126 near 7138 to Me to minister 8334 to Me,’ declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, ‘a young 1121 bull 6499 for a sin 2403b offering 2403b.

 43:20 ‘You shall take 3947 some 4480 of its blood 1818 and put 5414 it on its four 702 horns 7161 and on the four 702 corners 6438 of the ledge 5835 and on the border 1366 round 5439 about 5439; thus you shall cleanse 2398 it and make 3722a atonement 3722a for it.

 43:21 ‘You shall also take 3947 the bull 6499 for the sin 2403b offering 2403b, and it [shall be] burned 8313 in the appointed 4662 place 4662 of the house 1004, outside 4480 2351 the sanctuary 4720.

 43:22 ¶ ‘On the second 8145 day 3117 you shall offer 7126 a male 8163b goat 5795 without 8549 blemish 8549 for a sin 2403b offering 2403b, and they shall cleanse 2398 the altar 4196 as they cleansed 2398 [it] with the bull 6499.

 43:23 ‘When you have finished 3615 cleansing 2398 [it], you shall present 7126 a young 1121 bull 6499 without 8549 blemish 8549 and a ram 352a without 8549 blemish 8549 from the flock 6629.

 43:24 ‘You shall present 7126 them before 6440 the LORD 3068, and the priests 3548 shall throw 7993 salt 4417 on them, and they shall offer 5927 them up as a burnt 5930a offering 5930a to the LORD 3068.

 43:25 ‘For seven 7651 days 3117 you shall prepare 6213a daily 3117 a goat 8163b for a sin 2403b offering 2403b; also a young 1121 bull 6499 and a ram 352a from the flock 6629, without 8549 blemish 8549, shall be prepared 6213a.

 43:26 ‘For seven 7651 days 3117 they shall make 3722a atonement 3722a for the altar 4196 and purify 2891 it; so shall they consecrate 4390 3027 it.

 43:27 ‘When they have completed 3615 the days 3117, it shall be that on the eighth 8066 day 3117 and onward 1973, the priests 3548 shall offer 6213a your burnt 5930a offerings 5930a on the altar 4196, and your peace 8002 offerings 8002; and I will accept 7521 you,’ declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068.”
