Ezekiel 15

1 By the unfitness of the vine branch for any work, 6 is shewed the rejection of Jerusalem.

 15:1 Then the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to me, saying 559,

 15:2 “Son 1121 of man 120, how 4100 is the wood 6086 of the vine 1612 [better] than 4480 any 3605 wood 6086 of a branch 2156 which 834 is among the trees 6086 of the forest 3293a?

 15:3 “Can wood 6086 be taken 3947 from it to make 6213a anything 4399, or 518 can [men] take 3947 a peg 3489 from it on which to hang 8518 any 3605 vessel 3627?

 15:4 “If 2009 it has been put 5414 into the fire 784 for fuel 402, [and] the fire 784 has consumed 398 both 8147 of its ends 7098 and its middle 8432 part 8432 has been 2787 charred 2787, is it [then] useful 6743b for anything 4399?

 15:5 “Behold 2009, while it is intact 8549, it is not made 6213a into anything 4399. How 637 much 637 less 637, when 3588 the fire 784 has consumed 398 it and it is charred 2787, can it still 5750 be made 6213a into anything 4399!

 15:6 “Therefore 3651, thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, ‘As the wood 6086 of the vine 1612 among the trees 6086 of the forest 3293a, which 834 I have given 5414 to the fire 784 for fuel 402, so 3651 have I given 5414 up the inhabitants 3427 of Jerusalem 3389;

 15:7 and I set 5414 My face 6440 against them. [Though] they have come 3318 out of the fire 784, yet the fire 784 will consume 398 them. Then you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068, when 3588 I set 7760 My face 6440 against them.

 15:8 ‘Thus I will make 5414 the land 776 desolate 8077, because 3282 they have acted 4603 unfaithfully 4604,’” declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068.
