Ezekiel 2

1 Ezekiel's commission. 6 His instruction. 9 The roll of his heavy prophecy.

 2:1 Then He said 559 to me, “Son 1121 of man 120, stand 5975 on your feet 7272 that I may speak 1696 with you!”

 2:2 As He spoke 1696 to me the Spirit 7307 entered 935 me and set 5975 me on my feet 7272; and I heard 8085 [Him] speaking 1696 to me.

 2:3 Then He said 559 to me, “Son 1121 of man 120, I am sending 7971 you to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, to a rebellious 4775 people 1471 who 834 have rebelled 4775 against Me; they and their fathers 1 have transgressed 6586 against Me to this 2088 very 6106 day 3117.

 2:4 “I am sending 7971 you to them who are stubborn 7186 6440 and obstinate 2389 3820 children 1121, and you shall say 559 to them, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068.’

 2:5 “As for them, whether 518 they listen 8085 or 518 not—for they are a rebellious 4805 house 1004—they will know 3045 that a prophet 5030 has been 1961 among 8432 them.

 2:6 “And you, son 1121 of man 120, neither 408 fear 3372a them nor 408 fear 3372a their words 1697, though 3588 thistles 5621 and thorns 5544 are with you and you sit 3427 on scorpions 6137; neither 408 fear 3372a their words 1697 nor 408 be dismayed 2865 at their presence 6440, for they are a rebellious 4805 house 1004.

 2:7 “But you shall speak 1696 My words 1697 to them whether 518 they listen 8085 or 518 not, for they are rebellious 4805.

 2:8 ¶ “Now you, son 1121 of man 120, listen 8085 to what 834 I am speaking 1696 to you; do not be rebellious 4805 like that rebellious 4805 house 1004. Open 6475 your mouth 6310 and eat 398 what 834 I am giving 5414 you.”

 2:9 Then I looked 7200, and behold 2009, a hand 3027 was extended 7971 to me; and lo 2009, a scroll 4039 5612 [was] in it.

 2:10 When He spread 6566 it out before 6440 me, it was written 3789 on the front 6440 and back 268, and written 3789 on it were lamentations 7015, mourning 1899 and woe 1958.
