Ezekiel 25

1 God's vengeance, for their insolency against the Jews, upon the Ammonites, 8 upon Moab and Seir, 12 upon Edom, 15 and upon the Philistines.

 25:1 And the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to me saying 559,

 25:2 “Son 1121 of man 120, set 7760 your face 6440 toward 413 the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983 and prophesy 5012 against 5921 them,

 25:3 and say 559 to the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983, ‘Hear 8085 the word 1697 of the Lord 136 GOD 3068! Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Because 3282 you said 559, ‘Aha 1889!’ against 413 My sanctuary 4720 when 3588 it was profaned 2490c, and against 413 the land 127 of Israel 3478 when 3588 it was made 8074 desolate 8074, and against 413 the house 1004 of Judah 3063 when 3588 they went 1980 into exile 1473,

 25:4 therefore 3651, behold 2009, I am going to give 5414 you to the sons 1121 of the east 6924a for a possession 4181, and they will set 3427 their encampments 2918 among you and make 5414 their dwellings 4908 among you; they will eat 398 your fruit 6529 and drink 8354 your milk 2461.

 25:5 “I will make 5414 Rabbah 7237 a pasture 5116a for camels 1581 and the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983 a resting 4769 place 4769 for flocks 6629. Thus you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.”

 25:6 ‘For thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Because 3282 you have clapped 4222 your hands 3027 and stamped 7554 your feet 7272 and rejoiced 8055 with all 3605 the scorn 7589 of your soul 5315 against 413 the land 127 of Israel 3478,

 25:7 therefore 3651, behold 2009, I have stretched 5186 out My hand 3027 against 5921 you and I will give 5414 you for spoil 957 to the nations 1471. And I will cut 3772 you off 3772 from the peoples 5971a and make you perish 6 from the lands 776; I will destroy 8045 you. Thus you will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.”

 25:8 ¶ ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Because 3282 Moab 4124 and Seir 8165 say 559, ‘Behold 2009, the house 1004 of Judah 3063 is like all 3605 the nations 1471,’

 25:9 therefore 3651, behold 2009, I am going to deprive 6605a the flank 3802 of Moab 4124 of [its] cities 5892b, of its cities 5892b which are on its frontiers 7097a, the glory 6643a of the land 776, Beth-jeshimoth 1020, Baal-meon 1186 and Kiriathaim 7156,

 25:10 and I will give 5414 it for a possession 4181 along 5921 with the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983 to the sons 1121 of the east 6924a, so 4616 that the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983 will not be remembered 2142 among the nations 1471.

 25:11 “Thus I will execute 6213a judgments 8201 on Moab 4124, and they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.”

 25:12 ¶ ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Because 3282 Edom 112b has acted 6213a against the house 1004 of Judah 3063 by taking 5358 vengeance 5359, and has incurred 816 grievous 816 guilt 816, and avenged 5358 themselves upon them,”

 25:13 therefore 3651 thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “I will also stretch 5186 out My hand 3027 against 5921 Edom 112b and cut 3772 off 3772 man 120 and beast 929 from it. And I will lay 5414 it waste 2723; from Teman 8487 even to Dedan 1719 they will fall 5307 by the sword 2719.

 25:14 “I will lay 5414 My vengeance 5360 on Edom 112b by the hand 3027 of My people 5971a Israel 3478. Therefore, they will act 6213a in Edom 112b according to My anger 639 and according to My wrath 2534; thus they will know 3045 My vengeance 5360,” declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068.

 25:15 ¶ ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Because 3282 the Philistines 6430 have acted 6213a in revenge 5360 and have taken 5358 vengeance 5359 with scorn 7589 of soul 5315 to destroy 4889 with everlasting 5769 enmity 342,”

 25:16 therefore 3651 thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Behold 2009, I will stretch 5186 out My hand 3027 against 5921 the Philistines 6430, even cut 3772 off 3772 the Cherethites 3774 and destroy 6 the remnant 7611 of the seacoast 3220 2348.

 25:17 “I will execute 6213a great 1419 vengeance 5360 on them with wrathful 2534 rebukes 8433b; and they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068 when I lay 5414 My vengeance 5360 on them.”’”
