Ezekiel 30

1 The desolation of Egypt and her helpers. 20 The arm of Babylon shall be strengthened to break the arm of Egypt.

 30:1 The word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 again to me saying 559,

 30:2 “Son 1121 of man 120, prophesy 5012 and say 559, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “Wail 3213, ‘Alas 1929 for the day 3117!’

 30:3 “For the day 3117 is near 7138, Even the day 3117 of the LORD 3068 is near 7138; It will be a day 3117 of clouds 6051, A time 6256 [of doom] for the nations 1471.

 30:4 “A sword 2719 will come 935 upon Egypt 4714, And anguish 2479 will be in Ethiopia 3568a; When the slain 2491a fall 5307 in Egypt 4714, They take 3947 away her wealth 1995, And her foundations 3247 are torn 2040 down 2040.

 30:5 “Ethiopia 3568a, Put 6316, Lud 3865, all 3605 Arabia 6152a, Libya 3864 and the people 1121 of the land 776 that is in league 1285 will fall 5307 with them by the sword 2719.”

 30:6 ¶ ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, “Indeed, those who support 5564 Egypt 4714 will fall 5307 And the pride 1347b of her power 5797 will come 3381 down 3381; From Migdol 4024 [to] Syene 5482a They will fall 5307 within her by the sword 2719,” Declares 5002 the Lord 136 GOD 3068.

 30:7 “They will be desolate 8074 In the midst 8432 of the desolated 8074 lands 776; And her cities 5892b will be In the midst 8432 of the devastated 2717b cities 5892b.

 30:8 “And they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068, When I set 5414 a fire 784 in Egypt 4714 And all 3605 her helpers 5826 are broken 7665.

 30:9 “On that day 3117 messengers 4397 will go 3318 forth 3318 from Me in ships 6716a to frighten 2729 secure 983 Ethiopia 3568a; and anguish 2479 will be on them as on the day 3117 of Egypt 4714; for behold 2009, it comes 935!”

 30:10 ¶ ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “I will also make the hordes 1995 of Egypt 4714 cease 7673a By the hand 3027 of Nebuchadnezzar 5019 king 4428 of Babylon 894.

 30:12 “Moreover, I will make 5414 the Nile 2975 canals 2975 dry 2724 And sell 4376 the land 776 into the hands 3027 of evil 7451a men 7451a. And I will make 8074 the land 776 desolate 8074 And all 4393 that is in it, By the hand 3027 of strangers 2114a; I the LORD 3068 have spoken 1696.”

 30:13 ¶ ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the Lord 136 GOD 3068, “I will also destroy 6 the idols 1544 And make the images 457 cease 7673a from Memphis 5297. And there will no 3808 longer 5750 be a prince 5387a in the land 776 of Egypt 4714; And I will put 5414 fear 3374 in the land 776 of Egypt 4714.

 30:14 “I will make 8074 Pathros 6624 desolate 8074, Set 5414 a fire 784 in Zoan 6814 And execute 6213a judgments 8201 on Thebes 4996.

 30:15 “I will pour 8210 out My wrath 2534 on Sin 5512a, The stronghold 4581 of Egypt 4714; I will also cut 3772 off 3772 the hordes 1995 of Thebes 4996.

 30:16 “I will set 5414 a fire 784 in Egypt 4714; Sin 5512a will writhe 2342a in anguish 2342a, Thebes 4996 will be breached 1234 And Memphis 5297 [will have] distresses 6862c daily 3119.

 30:19 “Thus I will execute 6213a judgments 8201 on Egypt 4714, And they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.”’”

 30:20 ¶ In the eleventh 259 6240 year 8141, in the first 7223 [month], on the seventh 7651 of the month 2320, the word 1697 of the LORD 3068 came 1961 to me saying 559,

 30:23 ‘I will scatter 6327a the Egyptians 4714 among the nations 1471 and disperse 2219 them among the lands 776.

 30:24 ‘For I will strengthen 2388 the arms 2220 of the king 4428 of Babylon 894 and put 5414 My sword 2719 in his hand 3027; and I will break 7665 the arms 2220 of Pharaoh 6547, so that he will groan 5008 before 6440 him with the groanings 5009 of a wounded 2491a man 2491a.

 30:25 ‘Thus I will strengthen 2388 the arms 2220 of the king 4428 of Babylon 894, but the arms 2220 of Pharaoh 6547 will fall 5307. Then they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068, when I put 5414 My sword 2719 into the hand 3027 of the king 4428 of Babylon 894 and he stretches 5186 it out against 413 the land 776 of Egypt 4714.

 30:26 ‘When I scatter 6327a the Egyptians 4714 among the nations 1471 and disperse 2219 them among the lands 776, then they will know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068.’”
