וּבָאתָ שָׁמָּה וּרְאֵה־שָׁם יֵהוּא בֶן־יְהוֹשָׁפָט בֶּן־נִמְשִׁי וּבָאתָ וַהֲקֵמֹתוֹ מִתּוֹך אֶחָיו וְהֵבֵיאתָ אֹתוֹ חֶדֶר בְּחָדֶר

וַיָּקָם וַיָּבֹא הַבַּיְתָה וַיִּצֹק הַשֶּׁמֶן אֶל־רֹאשׁוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ כֹּה־אָמַר יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מְשַׁחְתִּיךָ לְמֶלֶךְ אֶל־עַם יְהוָה אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵל

 9:7 And thou shalt smite 5221 z8689 x853 the house 1004 of ´Aç´äv אַחאָב 256 thy ´áđôn אֲדוֹן, 113 that I may avenge 5358 z8765 the blood 1818 of my servants 5650 the prophets, 5030 and the blood 1818 of all x3605 the servants 5650 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 at the hand 3027 x4480 of ´Îzevel אִיזֶבֶל. 348

וְאָבַד כָּל־בֵּית אַחְאָב וְהִכְרַתִּי לְאַחְאָב מַשְׁתִּין בְּקִיר וְעָצוּר וְעָזוּב בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל

 9:8 For the whole x3605 house 1004 of ´Aç´äv אַחאָב 256 shall perish: 6 z8804 and I will cut off 3772 z8689 from ´Aç´äv אַחאָב 256 him that pisseth 8366 z8688 against the wall, 7023 and him that is shut up 6113 z8803 and left 5800 z8803 in Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478

וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־בֵּית אַחְאָב כְּבֵית יָרָבְעָם בֶּן־נְבָט וּכְבֵית בַּעְשָׁא בֶן־אֲחִיָּה

 9:9 w'nätaTiy et-Bëyt ach'äv K'vëyt yäräv'äm Ben-n'väţ ûkh'vëyt Ba'shä ven-áchiYäh

 9:9 And I will make 5414 z8804 x853 the house 1004 of ´Aç´äv אַחאָב 256 like the house 1004 of Yorov`äm יָרָבעָם 3379 the son 1121 of Næväţ נְבָט, 5028 and like the house 1004 of Ba`šä´ בַּעשָׁא 1201 the son 1121 of ´Áçiyyà אֲחִיָּה: 281

וְאֶת־אִיזֶבֶל יֹאכְלוּ הַכְּלָבִים בְּחֵלֶק יִזְרְעֶאל וְאֵין קֹבֵר וַיִּפְתַּח הַדֶּלֶת וַיָּנֹס

 9:10 w'et-iyzevel yokh'lû haK'läviym B'chëleq yiz'r'el w'ëyn qovër waYif'Tach haDelet waYänoš

 9:10 And the dogs 3611 shall eat 398 z8799 ´Îzevel אִיזֶבֶל 348 in the portion 2506 of Yizræ`e´l יִזרְעֶאל, 3157 and [there shall be] none x369 to bury 6912 z8802 [her]. And he opened 6605 z8799 the door, 1817 and fled. 5127 z8799

וְיֵהוּא יָצָא אֶל־עַבְדֵי אֲדֹנָיו וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ הֲשָׁלוֹם מַדּוּעַ בָּא־הַמְשֻׁגָּע הַזֶּה אֵלֶיךָ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם אַתֶּם יְדַעְתֶּם אֶת־הָאִישׁ וְאֶת־שִׂיחוֹ

 9:11 ¶ Then Yëhû´ יֵהוּא 3058 came forth 3318 z8804 to x413 the servants 5650 of his ´áđôn אֲדוֹן: 113 and [one] said 559 z8799 unto him, [Is] all well? 7965 wherefore x4069 came 935 z8804 this x2088 mad 7696 z8794 [fellow] to x413 thee? וַיֹּאמְרוּ שֶׁקֶר הַגֶּד־נָא לָנוּ וַיֹּאמֶר כָּזֹאת וְכָזֹאת אָמַר אֵלַי לֵאמֹר כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה מְשַׁחְתִּיךָ לְמֶלֶךְ אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵל

וַיְמַהֲרוּ וַיִּקְחוּ אִישׁ בִּגְדוֹ וַיָּשִׂימוּ תַחְתָּיו אֶל־גֶּרֶם הַמַּעֲלוֹת וַיִּתְקְעוּ בַּשּׁוֹפָר וַיֹּאמְרוּ מָלַךְ יֵהוּא

 9:16 So Yëhû´ יֵהוּא 3058 rode in a chariot, 7392 z8799 and went y3212 z8799 x1980 to Yizræ`e´l יִזרְעֶאל; 3157 for x3588 Yôräm יוֹרָם 3141 lay 7901 z8802 there. x8033 And ´Áçazyà אֲחַזיָה 274 king 4428 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 was come down 3381 z8804 to see 7200 z8800 x853 Yôräm יוֹרָם. 3141

וְהַצֹּפֶה עֹמֵד עַל־הַמִּגְדָּל בְּיִזְרְעֶאל וַיַּרְא אֶת־שִׁפְעַת יֵהוּא בְּבֹאוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר שִׁפְעַת אֲנִי רֹאֶה וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹרָם קַח רַכָּב וּשְׁלַח לִקְרָאתָם וְיֹאמַר הֲשָׁלוֹם

 9:17 And there stood 5975 z8802 a watchman 6822 z8802 on x5921 the tower 4026 in Yizræ`e´l יִזרְעֶאל, 3157 and he spied 7200 z8799 x853 the company 8229 of Yëhû´ יֵהוּא 3058 as he came, 935 z8800 and said, 559 z8799 I x589 see 7200 z8802 a company. 8229 And Yôräm יוֹרָם 3088 said, 559 z8799 Take 3947 z8798 an horseman, 7395 and send 7971 z8798 to meet y7125 z8800 x7122 them, and let him say, 559 z8799 [Is it] peace? 7965

וַיֵּלֶךְ רֹכֵב הַסּוּס לִקְרָאתוֹ וַיֹּאמֶר כֹּה־אָמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ הֲשָׁלוֹם וַיֹּאמֶר יֵהוּא מַה־לְּךָ וּלְשָׁלוֹם סֹב אֶל־אַחֲרָי וַיַּגֵּד הַצֹּפֶה לֵאמֹר בָּא־הַמַּלְאָךְ עַד־הֵם וְלֹא־שָׁב

 9:18 waYëlekh' rokhëv haŠûš liq'rätô waYomer Koh-ämar haMelekh' háshälôm waYomer yëhû mah-L'khä ûl'shälôm šov el-acháräy waYaGëd haTZofeh lëmor Bä-haMal'äkh' ad-hëm w'lo-shäv

 9:18 So there went y3212 z8799 x1980 one on horseback 7392 5483 z8802 to meet y7125 z8800 x7122 him, and said, 559 z8799 Thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 the king, 4428 [Is it] peace? 7965 And Yëhû´ יֵהוּא 3058 said, 559 z8799 What x4100 hast thou to do with peace? 7965 turn 5437 z8798 thee behind 310 x413 me. And the watchman 6822 z8802 told, 5046 z8686 saying, 559 z8800 The messenger 4397 came 935 z8804 to x5704 them, x1992 but he cometh not again. 7725 z8804 x3808

וַיִּשְׁלַח רֹכֵב סוּס שֵׁנִי וַיָּבֹא אֲלֵהֶם וַיֹּאמֶר כֹּה־אָמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ שָׁלוֹם וַיֹּאמֶר יֵהוּא מַה־לְּךָ וּלְשָׁלוֹם סֹב אֶל־אַחֲרָי

 9:19 waYish'lach rokhëv šûš shëniy waYävo álëhem waYomer Koh-ämar haMelekh' shälôm waYomer yëhû mah-L'khä ûl'shälôm šov el-acháräy

וַיַּגֵּד הַצֹּפֶה לֵאמֹר בָּא עַד־אֲלֵיהֶם וְלֹא־שָׁב וְהַמִּנְהָג כְּמִנְהַג יֵהוּא בֶן־נִמְשִׁי כִּי בְשִׁגָּעוֹן יִנְהָג

 9:20 waYaGëd haTZofeh lëmor Bä ad-álëyhem w'lo-shäv w'haMin'häg K'min'hag yëhû ven-nim'shiy Kiy v'shiGäôn yin'häg

 9:20 And the watchman 6822 z8802 told, 5046 z8686 saying, 559 z8800 He came 935 z8804 even x5704 unto x413 them, and cometh not again: 7725 z8804 x3808 and the driving 4491 [is] like the driving 4491 of Yëhû´ יֵהוּא 3058 the son 1121 of Nimšî נִמשִׁי; 5250 for x3588 he driveth 5090 z8799 furiously. 7697

וַיַּהֲפֹךְ יְהוֹרָם יָדָיו וַיָּנֹס וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־אֲחַזְיָהוּ מִרְמָה אֲחַזְיָה

 9:23 And Yôräm יוֹרָם 3088 turned 2015 z8799 his hands, 3027 and fled, 5127 z8799 and said 559 z8799 to x413 ´Áçazyà אֲחַזיָה, 274 [There is] treachery, 4820 O ´Áçazyà אֲחַזיָה. 274

וְיֵהוּא מִלֵּא יָדוֹ בַקֶּשֶׁת וַיַּךְ אֶת־יְהוֹרָם בֵּין זְרֹעָיו וַיֵּצֵא הַחֵצִי מִלִּבּוֹ וַיִּכְרַע בְּרִכְבּוֹ

 9:35 waYël'khû l'qäv'räH w'lo-mätz'û väH Kiy im-haGul'Golet w'härag'layim w'khaPôt haYädäyim

 9:36 waYäshuvû waYaGiydû lô waYomer D'var-y'hwäh hû ásher DiBer B'yad-av'Dô ëliYähû haTish'Biy lëmor B'chëleq yiz'r'el yokh'lû haK'läviym et-B'sar iyzävel

 9:36 Wherefore they came again, 7725 z8799 and told 5046 z8686 him.  9:37 *w'häyät [w'häy'täh] niv'lat iyzevel K'domen al-P'nëy haSädeh B'chëleq yiz'r'el ásher lo-yom'rû zot iyzävel f

 9:37 And the carcase 5038 of ´Îzevel אִיזֶבֶל 348 shall be x1961 as dung 1828 upon x5921 the face 6440 of the field 7704 in the portion 2506 of Yizræ`e´l יִזרְעֶאל; 3157 [so] that x834 they shall not x3808 say, 559 z8799 This x2063 [is] ´Îzevel אִיזֶבֶל. 348
