וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשָׁפָט הַאֵין פֹּה נָבִיא לַיהוָה וְנִדְרְשָׁה אֶת־יְהוָה מֵאוֹתוֹ וַיַּעַן אֶחָד מֵעַבְדֵי מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיֹּאמֶר פֹּה אֱלִישָׁע בֶּן־שָׁפָט אֲשֶׁר־יָצַק מַיִם עַל־יְדֵי אֵלִיָּהוּ

 3:11 But Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 said, 559 z8799 [Is there] not x369 here x6311 a prophet 5030 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 that we may enquire 1875 z8799 of x853 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 by x4480 x854 him?  3:12 And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 said, 559 z8799 The word 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 is 3426 with x854 him. So the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 and Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 and the king 4428 of ´Éđôm אֱדוֹם 123 went down 3381 z8799 to x413 him.

וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלִישָׁע אֶל־מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל מַה־לִּי וָלָךְ לֵךְ אֶל־נְבִיאֵי אָבִיךָ וְאֶל־נְבִיאֵי אִמֶּךָ וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל אַל כִּי־קָרָא יְהוָה לִשְׁלֹשֶׁת הַמְּלָכִים הָאֵלֶּה לָתֵת אוֹתָם בְּיַד־מוֹאָב

 3:13 And ´Élîšä` אֱלִישָׁע 477 said 559 z8799 unto x413 the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 What x4100 have I to do with thee? get y3212 z8798 x1980 thee to x413 the prophets 5030 of thy father, 1 and to x413 the prophets 5030 of thy mother. 517 And the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said 559 z8799 unto him, Nay: x408 for x3588 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath called 7121 z0 these x428 three 7969 kings 4428 together, y7121 z8804 to deliver 5414 z8800 them into the hand 3027 of Mô´äv מוֹאָב. 4124

וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלִישָׁע חַי־יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֲשֶׁר עָמַדְתִּי לְפָנָיו כִּי לוּלֵי פְּנֵי יְהוֹשָׁפָט מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה אֲנִי נֹשֵׂא אִם־אַבִּיט אֵלֶיךָ וְאִם־אֶרְאֶךָּ

 3:14 waYomer éliyshä chay-y'hwäh tz'väôt ásher ämad'Tiy l'fänäyw Kiy lûlëy P'nëy y'hôshäfäţ melekh'-y'hûdäh ániy nosë im-aBiyţ ëleykhä w'im-er'eKä

 3:14 And ´Élîšä` אֱלִישָׁע 477 said, 559 z8799 [As] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 Xævä´ôŧ צְבָאוֹת 6635 liveth, 2416 before 6440 whom x834 I stand, 5975 z8804 surely, x3588 were it not x3884 that y3884 I x589 regard 5375 z8802 the presence 6440 of Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 the king 4428 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה, 3063 I would not look 5027 z8686 toward x413 thee, nor x518 see 7200 z8799 thee.

וְעַתָּה קְחוּ־לִי מְנַגֵּן וְהָיָה כְּנַגֵּן הַמְנַגֵּן וַתְּהִי עָלָיו יַד־יְהוָה

 3:15 w'aTäh q'chû-liy m'naGën w'häyäh K'naGën ham'naGën waT'hiy äläyw yad-y'hwäh

וַיֹּאמֶר כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה עָשֹׂה הַנַּחַל הַזֶּה גֵּבִים גֵּבִים

כִּי־כֹה אָמַר יְהוָה לֹא־תִרְאוּ רוּחַ וְלֹא־תִרְאוּ גֶשֶׁם וְהַנַּחַל הַהוּא יִמָּלֵא מָיִם וּשְׁתִיתֶם אַתֶּם וּמִקְנֵיכֶם וּבְהֶמְתְּכֶם

 3:17 Kiy-khoh ämar y'hwäh lo-tir'û rûªch w'lo-tir'û geshem w'haNachal hahû yiMälë mäyim ûsh'tiytem aTem ûmiq'nëykhem ûv'hem'T'khem

 3:17 For x3588 thus x3541 saith 559 z8804 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 Ye shall not x3808 see 7200 z8799 wind, 7307 neither x3808 shall ye see 7200 z8799 rain; 1653 yet that x1931 valley 5158 shall be filled 4390 z8735 with water, 4325 that ye may drink, 8354 z8804 both ye, x859 and your cattle, 4735 and your beasts. 929

וְנָקַל זֹאת בְּעֵינֵי יְהוָה וְנָתַן אֶת־מוֹאָב בְּיֶדְכֶם

 3:18 w'näqal zot B'ëynëy y'hwäh w'nätan et-môäv B'yed'khem

 3:18 And this x2063 is [but] a light thing 7043 z8738 in the sight 5869 of Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 he will deliver 5414 z8804 x853 the Mô´ävîm מוֹאָבִים 4124 also into your hand. 3027

וְהִכִּיתֶם כָּל־עִיר מִבְצָר וְכָל־עִיר מִבְחוֹר וְכָל־עֵץ טוֹב תַּפִּילוּ וְכָל־מַעְיְנֵי־מַיִם תִּסְתֹּמוּ וְכֹל הַחֶלְקָה הַטּוֹבָה תַּכְאִבוּ בָּאֲבָנִים

 3:19 w'hiKiytem Käl-iyr miv'tzär w'khäl-iyr miv'chôr w'khäl-ëtz ţôv TaPiylû w'khäl-ma'y'nëy-mayim Tiš'Tomû w'khol hachel'qäh haŢôväh Takh'ivû Bäáväniym

 3:19 And ye shall smite 5221 z8689 every x3605 fenced 4013 city, 5892 and every x3605 choice 4004 city, 5892 and shall fell 5307 z8686 every x3605 good 2896 tree, 6086 and stop 5640 z8799 all x3605 wells 4599 of water, 4325 and mar 3510 z8686 every x3605 good 2896 piece y2513 of land x2513 with stones. 68

וַיְהִי בַבֹּקֶר כַּעֲלוֹת הַמִּנְחָה וְהִנֵּה־מַיִם בָּאִים מִדֶּרֶךְ אֱדוֹם וַתִּמָּלֵא הָאָרֶץ אֶת־הַמָּיִם

 3:20 way'hiy vaBoqer Kaálôt haMin'chäh w'hiNëh-mayim Bäiym miDerekh' édôm waTiMälë hääretz et-haMäyim

 3:20 And it came to pass x1961 in the morning, 1242 when the meat offering 4503 was offered, 5927 z8800 that, behold, x2009 there came 935 z8802 water 4325 by the way 1870 x4480 of ´Éđôm אֱדוֹם, 123 and the country 776 was filled 4390 z8735 with x854 water. 4325

וְכָל־מוֹאָב שָׁמְעוּ כִּי־עָלוּ הַמְּלָכִים לְהִלָּחֶם בָּם וַיִּצָּעֲקוּ מִכֹּל חֹגֵר חֲגֹרָה וָמַעְלָה וַיַּעַמְדוּ עַל־הַגְּבוּל

 3:21 w'khäl-môäv shäm'û Kiy-älû haM'läkhiym l'hiLächem Bäm waYiTZäáqû miKol chogër chágoräh wäma'läh waYaam'dû al-haG'vûl

 3:21 ¶ And when all x3605 the Mô´ävîm מוֹאָבִים 4124 heard 8085 z8804 that x3588 the kings 4428 were come up 5927 z8804 to fight 3898 z8736 against them, they gathered y6817 z8735 all x6817 x4480 x3605 that were able to put y2296 z8802 on x2296 armour, 2290 and upward, 4605 and stood 5975 z8799 in x5921 the border. 1366

וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל־מַחֲנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיָּקֻמוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּכּוּ אֶת־מוֹאָב וַיָּנֻסוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶם *וַיָּבוֹ־ [וַיַּכּוּ־]בָהּ וְהַכּוֹת אֶת־מוֹאָב

וְהֶעָרִים יַהֲרֹסוּ וְכָל־חֶלְקָה טוֹבָה יַשְׁלִיכוּ אִישׁ־אַבְנוֹ וּמִלְאוּהָ וְכָל־מַעְיַן־מַיִם יִסְתֹּמוּ וְכָל־עֵץ־טוֹב יַפִּילוּ עַד־הִשְׁאִיר אֲבָנֶיהָ בַּקִּיר חֲרָשֶׂת וַיָּסֹבּוּ הַקַּלָּעִים וַיַּכּוּהָ

וַיַּרְא מֶלֶךְ מוֹאָב כִּי־חָזַק מִמֶּנּוּ הַמִּלְחָמָה וַיִּקַּח אוֹתוֹ שְׁבַע־מֵאוֹת אִישׁ שֹׁלֵף חֶרֶב לְהַבְקִיעַ אֶל־מֶלֶךְ אֱדוֹם וְלֹא יָכֹלוּ

 3:26 ¶ And when the king 4428 of Mô´äv מוֹאָב 4124 saw 7200 z8799 that x3588 the battle 4421 was too sore 2388 z8804 for x4480 him, he took 3947 z8799 with x854 him seven 7651 hundred 3967 men 376 that drew 8025 z8802 swords, 2719 to break through 1234 z8687 [even] unto x413 the king 4428 of ´Éđôm אֱדוֹם: 123 but they could 3201 z8804 not. x3808
