1 The number and offices of the singers. 8 Their division by lot into four and twenty orders.

 25:1 Moreover, David 1732 and the commanders 8269 of the army 6635 set 914 apart 914 for the service 5656 [some] of the sons 1121 of Asaph 623 and of Heman 1968 and of Jeduthun 3038, who [were] to prophesy 5012 with lyres 3658, harps 5035b and cymbals 4700; and the number 4557 of those 376 who performed 4399 their service 5656 was:

 25:2 Of the sons 1121 of Asaph 623: Zaccur 2139, Joseph 3130, Nethaniah 5418 and Asharelah 841; the sons 1121 of Asaph 623 [were] under 5921 the direction 3027 of Asaph 623, who prophesied 5012 under 5921 the direction 3027 of the king 4428.

 25:3 Of Jeduthun 3038, the sons 1121 of Jeduthun 3038: Gedaliah 1436b, Zeri 6874, Jeshaiah 3470b, Shimei, Hashabiah 2811 and Mattithiah 4993, six 8337a, under 5921 the direction 3027 of their father 1 Jeduthun 3038 with the harp 3658, who prophesied 5012 in giving 3034 thanks 3034 and praising 1984b the LORD 3068.

 25:4 Of Heman 1968, the sons 1121 of Heman 1968: Bukkiah 1232, Mattaniah 4983, Uzziel 5816, Shebuel 7619 and Jerimoth 3406, Hananiah 2608a, Hanani 2607, Eliathah 448, Giddalti 1437 and Romamti-ezer 7320a, Joshbekashah 3436, Mallothi 4413, Hothir 1956b, Mahazioth 4238.

 25:5 All 3605 these 428 [were] the sons 1121 of Heman 1968 the king’s 4428 seer 2374 to exalt 7311 him according to the words 1697 of God 430, for God 430 gave 5414 fourteen 702 6240 sons 1121 and three 7969 daughters 1323 to Heman 1968.

 25:6 All 3605 these 428 were under 5921 the direction 3027 of their father 1 to sing 7892a in the house 1004 of the LORD 3068, with cymbals 4700, harps 5035b and lyres 3658, for the service 5656 of the house 1004 of God 430. Asaph 623, Jeduthun 3038 and Heman 1968 [were] under 5921 the direction 3027 of the king 4428.

 25:7 Their number 4557 who were trained 3925 in singing 7892a to the LORD 3068, with their relatives 251, all 3605 who were skillful 995, [was] 288 3967 8084 8083.

 25:8 They cast 5307 lots 1486 for their duties 4931, all 5980 alike 5980, the small 6996b as well as the great 1419, the teacher 995 [as well] as the pupil 8527.

 25:9 ¶ Now the first 7223 lot 1486 came 3318 out for Asaph 623 to Joseph 3130, the second 8145 for Gedaliah 1436b, he with his relatives 251 and sons 1121 [were] twelve 8147 6240;

 25:10 the third 7992 to Zaccur 2139, his sons 1121 and his relatives 251, twelve 8147 6240;

 25:11 the fourth 7243 to Izri 3339, his sons 1121 and his relatives 251, twelve 8147 6240;

 25:12 the fifth 2549 to Nethaniah 5418, his sons 1121 and his relatives 251, twelve 8147 6240;

 25:13 the sixth 8345 to Bukkiah 1232, his sons 1121 and his relatives 251, twelve 8147 6240;

 25:14 the seventh 7637 to Jesharelah 3480, his sons 1121 and his relatives 251, twelve 8147 6240;
