1 Rabbah is besieged by Joab, spoiled by David, and the people thereof tortured. 4 Three giants are slain in three several overthrows of the Philistines.
20:1
Then it happened 1961 in the spring 8666, at the time 6256 when kings 4428 go 3318 out [to battle], that Joab 3097 led 5090a out the army 6635 2428 and ravaged 7843 the land 776 of the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983, and came 935 and besieged 6696a Rabbah 7237. But David 1732 stayed 3427 at Jerusalem 3389. And Joab 3097 struck 5221 Rabbah 7237 and overthrew 2040 it.
20:2
David 1732 took 3947 the crown 5850 of their king 4428 from his head 7218, and he found 4672 it to weigh 4948 a talent 3603 of gold 2091, and there was a precious 3368 stone 68 in it; and it was placed 1961 on David’s 1732 head 7218. And he brought 3318 out the spoil 7998 of the city 5892b, a very 3966 great 7235a amount.

He brought 3318 out the people 5971a who 834 [were] in it, and cut 7787 [them] with saws 4050 and with sharp 2757 instruments 2757 and with axes 4050. And thus 3651 David 1732 did 6213a to all 3605 the cities 5892b of the sons 1121 of Ammon 5983. Then David 1732 and all 3605 the people 5971a returned 7725 [to] Jerusalem 3389.

¶ Now it came 1961 about after 310 this 3651, that war 4421 broke 5975 out at Gezer 1507 with the Philistines 6430; then 227 Sibbecai 5444 the Hushathite 2843 killed 5221 Sippai 5598, one of the descendants 3211 of the giants 7498b, and they were subdued 3665.

And there was war 4421 with the Philistines 6430 again 5750, and Elhanan 445 the son 1121 of Jair 3265 killed 5221 Lahmi 3902 the brother 251 of Goliath 1555 the Gittite 1663, the shaft 6086 of whose spear 2595 [was] like a weaver’s 707 beam 4500.

Again 5750 there was war 4421 at Gath 1661, where there was a man 376 of [great] stature 4060a who had twenty-four 6242 702 fingers 676 and toes 676, six 8337a [fingers on each hand] and six 8337a [toes on each foot]; and he also 1571 was descended 3205 from the giants 7498b.
20:7
When he taunted 2778a Israel 3478, Jonathan 3083 the son 1121 of Shimea 8092, David’s 1732 brother 251, killed 5221 him.
20:8
These 411 were descended 3205 from the giants 7498b in Gath 1661, and they fell 5307 by the hand 3027 of David 1732 and by the hand 3027 of his servants 5650.
