1, 11 The posterity of Judah by Caleb the son of Hur. 5 Of Ashur the posthumous son of Hezron. 9 Of Jabez, and his prayer. 21 The posterity of Shelah. 24 The posterity and cities of Simeon. 30 Their conquest of Gedor, and of the Amalekites in mount Seir.

 4:1 The sons 1121 of Judah 3063 [were] Perez 6557, Hezron 2696, Carmi 3756, Hur 2354 and Shobal 7732.

 4:2 Reaiah 7211 the son 1121 of Shobal 7732 became 3205 the father 3205 of Jahath 3189, and Jahath 3189 became 3205 the father 3205 of Ahumai 267 and Lahad 3855. These 428 [were] the families 4940 of the Zorathites 6882.

 4:41 These 428, recorded 3789 by name 8034, came 935 in the days 3117 of Hezekiah 2396 king 4428 of Judah 3063, and attacked 5221 their tents 168 and the Meunites 4586 who 834 were found 4672 there 8033, and destroyed 2763a them utterly 2763a to this 2088 day 3117, and lived 3427 in their place 8478, because 3588 there was pasture 4829 there 8033 for their flocks 6629.
