1 Chronicles 18

1 David subdueth the Philistines and the Moabites. 3 He smiteth Hadarezer and the Syrians. 9 Tou sendeth Hadoram with presents to bless David. 11 The presents and spoil David dedicated to God. 13 He putteth garrisons in Edom. 14 David's officers.

 18:1 Now after 310 this 3651 it came 1961 about that David 1732 defeated 5221 the Philistines 6430 and subdued 3665 them and took 3947 Gath 1661 and its towns 1323 from the hand 3027 of the Philistines 6430.

 18:2 He defeated 5221 Moab 4124, and the Moabites 4124 became 1961 servants 5650 to David 1732, bringing 5375 tribute 4503.

 18:3 ¶ David 1732 also defeated 5221 Hadadezer 1909 king 4428 of Zobah 6678 [as far as] Hamath 2574, as he went 1980 to establish 5324 his rule 3027 to the Euphrates 6578 River 5104.

 18:4 David 1732 took 3920 from him 1,000 505 chariots 7393 and 7,000 7651 505 horsemen 6571b and 20,000 6242 505 foot 7273 soldiers 376 7273, and David 1732 hamstrung 6136b all 3605 the chariot 7393 horses 7393, but reserved 3498 [enough] of them for 100 3967 chariots 7393.

 18:9 ¶ Now when Tou 8583 king 4428 of Hamath 2574 heard 8085 that David 1732 had defeated 5221 all 3605 the army 2428 of Hadadezer 1909 king 4428 of Zobah 6678,
