1 The original of Israel's and Judah's genealogies. 2 The Israelites, 10 the priests, 14 and the Levites, with the Nethinims, which dwelt in Jerusalem. 27 The charge of certain Levites. 35 The stock of Saul and Jonathan.

 9:1 So all 3605 Israel 3478 was enrolled 3187 by genealogies 3187; and behold 2009, they are written 3789 in the Book 5612 of the Kings 4428 of Israel 3478. And Judah 3063 was carried 1540 away 1540 into exile 1540 to Babylon 894 for their unfaithfulness 4604.

 9:2 ¶ Now the first 7223 who 834 lived 3427 in their possessions 272 in their cities 5892b [were] Israel 3478, the priests 3548, the Levites 3881 and the temple 5411 servants 5411.

 9:6 From the sons 1121 of Zerah 2226 [were] Jeuel 3262 and their relatives 251, 690 8337a 3967 8673 [of them].

 9:7 From the sons 1121 of Benjamin 1144 [were] Sallu 5543b the son 1121 of Meshullam 4918, the son 1121 of Hodaviah 1938, the son 1121 of Hassenuah 5574,

 9:17 ¶ Now the gatekeepers 7778 [were] Shallum 7967 and Akkub 6126 and Talmon 2929 and Ahiman 289 and their relatives 251 (Shallum 7967 the chief 7218

 9:18 [being stationed] until 5704 now 2008 at the king’s 4428 gate 8179 to the east 4217). These 1992a [were] the gatekeepers 7778 for the camp 4264 of the sons 1121 of Levi 3878.

 9:30 Some 4480 of the sons 1121 of the priests 3548 prepared 7543 the mixing 4842 of the spices 1314.

 9:31 Mattithiah 4993, one of the Levites 3881, who 1931 was the firstborn 1060 of Shallum 7967 the Korahite 7145, had the responsibility 530 over 5921 the things 4639 which were baked 2281 in pans 2281.

 9:32 Some 4480 of their relatives 251 of the sons 1121 of the Kohathites 6956 [were] over 5921 the showbread 3899 4635 to prepare 3559 it every 7676 sabbath 7676.

 9:34 These 428 were heads 7218 of fathers’ 1 [households] of the Levites 3881 according to their generations 8435, chief 7218 men 7218, who 428 lived 3427 in Jerusalem 3389.

 9:35 ¶ In Gibeon 1391 Jeiel 3262 the father 1 of Gibeon 1391 lived 3427, and his wife’s 802 name 8034 was Maacah 4601,

 9:36 and his firstborn 1060 son 1121 [was] Abdon 5658, then Zur 6698, Kish 7027, Baal 1168b, Ner 5369, Nadab 5070,

 9:37 Gedor 1446, Ahio 283, Zechariah 2148a and Mikloth 4732.

 9:38 Mikloth 4732 became 3205 the father 3205 of Shimeam 8043. And they also 637 lived 3427 with their relatives 251 in Jerusalem 3389 opposite 5048 their [other] relatives 251.

 9:39 Ner 5369 became 3205 the father 3205 of Kish 7027, and Kish 7027 became 3205 the father 3205 of Saul 7586, and Saul 7586 became 3205 the father 3205 of Jonathan 3083, Malchi-shua 4444, Abinadab 41 and Eshbaal 792.

 9:40 The son 1121 of Jonathan 3083 [was] Merib-baal 4807; and Merib-baal 4807 became 3205 the father 3205 of Micah 4318.

 9:41 The sons 1121 of Micah 4318 [were] Pithon 6377, Melech 4429, Tahrea 8475 [and Ahaz].

 9:42 Ahaz 271 became 3205 the father 3205 of Jarah 3294, and Jarah 3294 became 3205 the father 3205 of Alemeth 5964, Azmaveth 5820a and Zimri 2174a; and Zimri 2174a became 3205 the father 3205 of Moza 4162,

 9:43 and Moza 4162 became 3205 the father 3205 of Binea 1150 and Rephaiah 7509 his son 1121, Eleasah 501 his son 1121, Azel 682a his son 1121.

 9:44 Azel 682a had six 8337a sons 1121 whose names 8034 are these 428: Azrikam 5840, Bocheru 1074 and Ishmael 3458 and Sheariah 8187 and Obadiah 5662 and Hanan 2605. These 428 were the sons 1121 of Azel 682a.
