Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῷ τὸν ὄχλον ἐπικεῖσθαι αὐτῷ καὶ ἀκούειν τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν ἑστὼς παρὰ τὴν λίμνην Γεννησαρέτ,
It-had-became moreover in unto-the-one to-the-one to-a-crowd to-situate-upon unto-it and to-hear to-the-one to-a-forthee of-the-one of-a-Deity, and it it-was having-had-come-to-stand beside to-the-one to-a-lake of-a-Gennesaret,

καὶ εἶδεν πλοῖα δύο ἑστῶτα παρὰ τὴν λίμνην, οἱ δὲ ἁλεεῖς ἀπ' αὐτῶν ἀποβάντες ἔπλυνον τὰ δίκτυα.

ἐμβὰς δὲ εἰς ἓν τῶν πλοίων, ὃ ἦν Σίμωνος, ἠρώτησεν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἐπαναγαγεῖν ὀλίγον, καθίσας δὲ ἐκ τοῦ πλοίου ἐδίδασκεν τοὺς ὄχλους.

καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς Σίμων εἶπεν Ἐπιστάτα, δι' ὅλης νυκτὸς κοπιάσαντες οὐδὲν ἐλάβομεν, ἐπὶ δὲ τῷ ῥήματί σου χαλάσω τὰ δίκτυα.

καὶ τοῦτο ποιήσαντες συνέκλεισαν πλῆθος ἰχθύων πολύ, διερήσσετο δὲ τὰ δίκτυα αὐτῶν.

καὶ κατένευσαν τοῖς μετόχοις ἐν τῷ ἑτέρῳ πλοίῳ τοῦ ἐλθόντας συλλαβέσθαι αὐτοῖς: καὶ ἦλθαν, καὶ ἔπλησαν ἀμφότερα τὰ πλοῖα ὥστε βυθίζεσθαι αὐτά.

Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν μιᾷ τῶν ἡμερῶν καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν διδάσκων, καὶ ἦσαν καθήμενοι Φαρισαῖοι καὶ νομοδιδάσκαλοι οἳ ἦσαν ἐληλυθότες ἐκ πάσης κώμης τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ Ἰουδαίας καὶ Ἰερουσαλήμ: καὶ δύναμις Κυρίου ἦν εἰς τὸ ἰᾶσθαι αὐτόν.

 5:18 καὶ "And" ἰδοὺ "thou-should-have-had-seen," ἄνδρες "men" φέροντες "bearing" ἐπὶ "upon" κλίνης "of-a-reclining" ἄνθρωπον "to-a-mankind" ὃς "which" ἦν "it-was" παραλελυμένος, "having-had-come-to-be-loosed-beside," καὶ "and" ἐζήτουν "they-were-seeking-unto" αὐτὸν "to-it" εἰσενεγκεῖν "to-have-had-beared-into" καὶ "and" θεῖναι "to-have-had-placed" [αὐτὸν] "[to-it]" ἐνώπιον "in-looked" αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἤρξαντο διαλογίζεσθαι οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ Φαρισαῖοι λέγοντες, Τίς ἐστιν οὗτος ὃς λαλεῖ βλασφημίας; τίς δύναται ἁμαρτίας ἀφεῖναι εἰ μὴ μόνος ὁ θεός;

ἐπιγνοὺς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς τοὺς διαλογισμοὺς αὐτῶν ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Τί διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;

Καὶ ἔκστασις ἔλαβεν ἅπαντας καὶ ἐδόξαζον τὸν θεόν, καὶ ἐπλήσθησαν φόβου λέγοντες ὅτι Εἴδαμεν παράδοξα σήμερον.

Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξῆλθεν καὶ ἐθεάσατο τελώνην ὀνόματι Λευεὶν καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἀκολούθει μοι.

Καὶ ἐποίησεν δοχὴν μεγάλην Λευεὶς αὐτῷ ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ: καὶ ἦν ὄχλος πολὺς τελωνῶν καὶ ἄλλων οἳ ἦσαν μετ' αὐτῶν κατακείμενοι.

And having-been-separated-off [the-one] an-Iesous it-had-said toward to-them, Not to-an-affording-of they-hold, the-ones having-healthed, of-an-en-curer, other the-ones unto-disrupted holding.

 5:31 καὶ "And" ἀποκριθεὶς "having-been-separated-off" [ὁ] "[the-one]" Ἰησοῦς "an-Iesous" εἶπεν "it-had-said" πρὸς "toward" αὐτούς "to-them," Οὐ "Not" χρείαν "to-an-affording-of" ἔχουσιν "they-hold," οἱ "the-ones" ὑγιαίνοντες "having-healthed," ἰατροῦ "of-an-en-curer," ἀλλὰ "other" οἱ "the-ones" κακῶς "unto-disrupted" ἔχοντες: "holding."

οὐκ ἐλήλυθα καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλοὺς εἰς μετάνοιαν.
Not I-hath-had-come-to-come to-have-called-unto to-course-belonged, other to-un-adjusted-along into to-a-considering-with-unto.

 5:32 οὐκ "Not" ἐλήλυθα "I-hath-had-come-to-come" καλέσαι "to-have-called-unto" δικαίους "to-course-belonged," ἀλλὰ "other" ἁμαρτωλοὺς "to-un-adjusted-along" εἰς "into" μετάνοιαν. "to-a-considering-with-unto."

Οἱ δὲ εἶπαν πρὸς αὐτόν Οἱ μαθηταὶ Ἰωάνου νηστεύουσιν πυκνὰ καὶ δεήσεις ποιοῦνται, ὁμοίως καὶ οἱ τῶν Φαρισαίων, οἱ δὲ σοὶ ἐσθίουσιν καὶ πίνουσιν.
