Jeremiah 45
1 Baruch being dismayed, 4 Jeremiah instructeth and comforteth him.
45:1
[This is] the message 1697 which 834 Jeremiah 3414 the prophet 5030 spoke 1696 to Baruch 1263 the son 1121 of Neriah 5374, when he had written 3789 down 3789 these 428 words 1697 in a book 5612 at Jeremiah’s 3414 dictation 6310, in the fourth 7243 year 8141 of Jehoiakim 3079 the son 1121 of Josiah 2977, king 4428 of Judah 3063, saying 559:

“Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068 the God 430 of Israel 3478 to you, O Baruch 1263:
45:3
‘You said 559, “Ah 4994, woe 188 is me! For the LORD 3068 has added 3254 sorrow 3015 to my pain 4341; I am weary 3021 with my groaning 603 and have found 4672 no 3808 rest 4496.”’
45:4
“Thus 3541 you are to say 559 to him, ‘Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, “Behold 2009, what 834 I have built 1129 I am about to tear 2040 down 2040, and what 834 I have planted 5193 I am about to uproot 5428, that is, the whole 3605 land 776.”
45:5
‘But you, are you seeking 1245 great 1419 things 1419 for yourself? Do not seek 1245 [them]; for behold 2009, I am going to bring 935 disaster 7463a on all 3605 flesh 1320,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068, ‘but I will give 5414 your life 5315 to you as booty 7998 in all 3605 the places 4725 where 834 8033 you may go 1980.’”
