Jeremiah 30

1 God sheweth Jeremiah the return of the Jews. 4 After their trouble they shall have deliverance. 10 He comforteth Jacob. 18 Their return shall be gracious. 23 Wrath shall fall on the wicked.

 30:1 The word 1697 which 834 came 1961 to Jeremiah 3414 from the LORD 3068, saying 559,

 30:2 “Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, the God 430 of Israel 3478, ‘Write 3789 all 3605 the words 1697 which 834 I have spoken 1696 to you in a book 5612.

 30:3 ‘For behold 2009, days 3117 are coming 935,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068, ‘when I will restore 7725 the fortunes 7622 of My people 5971a Israel 3478 and Judah 3063.’ The LORD 3068 says 559, ‘I will also bring 7725 them back 7725 to the land 776 that I gave 5414 to their forefathers 1 and they shall possess 3423 it.’”

 30:4 ¶ Now these 428 are the words 1697 which 834 the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 concerning 413 Israel 3478 and concerning 413 Judah 3063:

 30:5 ¶ “For thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, ‘I have heard 8085 a sound 6963 of terror 2731, Of dread 6343, and there 369 is no 369 peace 7965.

 30:6 ‘Ask 7592 now 4994, and see 7200 If 518 a male 2145 can give 3205 birth 3205. Why 4069 do I see 7200 every 3605 man 1397 [With] his hands 3027 on his loins 2504, as a woman in childbirth 3205? And [why] have all 3605 faces 6440 turned 2015 pale 3420?

 30:7 ‘Alas 1945! for that day 3117 is great 1419, There 369 is none 369 like 3644 it; And it is the time 6256 of Jacob’s 3290 distress 6869a, But he will be saved 3467 from it.

 30:8 ¶ ‘It shall come 1961 about on that day 3117,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068 of hosts 6635, ‘that I will break 7665 his yoke 5923 from off 5921 their neck 6677 and will tear 5423 off 5423 their bonds 4147; and strangers 2114a will no 3808 longer 5750 make 5647 them their slaves 5647.

 30:9 ‘But they shall serve 5647 the LORD 3068 their God 430 and David 1732 their king 4428, whom 834 I will raise 6965 up for them.

 30:10 ‘Fear 3372a not, O Jacob 3290 My servant 5650,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068, ‘And do not be dismayed 2865, O Israel 3478; For behold 2009, I will save 3467 you from afar 7350 And your offspring 2233 from the land 776 of their captivity 7628b. And Jacob 3290 will return 7725 and will be quiet 8252 and at ease 7599, And no 369 one 369 will make 2729 him afraid 2729.

 30:11 ‘For I am with you,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068, ‘to save 3467 you; For I will destroy 6213a 3617 completely 3617 all 3605 the nations 1471 where 834 8033 I have scattered 6327a you, Only 389 I will not destroy 6213a 3617 you completely 3617. But I will chasten 3256 you justly 4941 And will by no 3808 means 5352 leave 5352 you unpunished 5352.’

 30:12 ¶ “For thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, ‘Your wound 4347 is incurable 605 And your injury 4347 is serious 2470a.

 30:13 ‘There 369 is no 369 one 369 to plead 1777 your cause 1779; [No] healing 7499 for [your] sore 4205, No 369 recovery 8585b for you.

 30:14 ‘All 3605 your lovers 157 have forgotten 7911 you, They do not seek 1875 you; For I have wounded 5221 you with the wound 4347 of an enemy 340, With the punishment 4148 of a cruel 394 one 394, Because 5921 your iniquity 5771 is great 7230 [And] your sins 2403b are numerous 6105a.

 30:15 ‘Why 4100 do you cry 2199 out over 5921 your injury 7667? Your pain 4341 is incurable 605. Because 5921 your iniquity 5771 is great 7230 [And] your sins 2403b are numerous 6105a, I have done 6213a these 428 things 428 to you.

 30:16 ‘Therefore 3651 all 3605 who devour 398 you will be devoured 398; And all 3605 your adversaries 6862c, every 3605 one 3605 of them, will go 1980 into captivity 7628b; And those who plunder 8155 you will be for plunder 4933, And all 3605 who prey 962 upon you I will give 5414 for prey 957.

 30:17 ‘For I will restore 5927 you to health 724 And I will heal 7495 you of your wounds 4347,’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068, ‘Because 3588 they have called 7121 you an outcast 5080, saying: “It is Zion 6726; no 369 one 369 cares 1875 for her.”’

 30:18 ¶ “Thus 3541 says 559 the LORD 3068, ‘Behold 2009, I will restore 7725 the fortunes 7622 of the tents 168 of Jacob 3290 And have 7355 compassion 7355 on his dwelling 4908 places 4908; And the city 5892b will be rebuilt 1129 on its ruin 8510, And the palace 759 will stand 3427 on its rightful 4941 place 4941.

 30:19 ‘From them will proceed 3318 thanksgiving 8426 And the voice 6963 of those who celebrate 7832; And I will multiply 7235a them and they will not be diminished 4591; I will also honor 3513 them and they will not be insignificant 6819.

 30:20 ‘Their children 1121 also will be as formerly 6924a, And their congregation 5712 shall be established 3559 before 6440 Me; And I will punish 6485 all 3605 their oppressors 3905.

 30:21 ‘Their leader 117 shall be one of them, And their ruler 4910 shall come 3318 forth 3318 from their midst 7130; And I will bring 7126 him near 7126 and he shall approach 5066 Me; For who 4310 would dare 6148 to risk 6148 his life 3820 to approach 5066 Me?’ declares 5002 the LORD 3068.

 30:22 ‘You shall be My people 5971a, And I will be your God 430.’”

 30:23 ¶ Behold 2009, the tempest 5591b of the LORD 3068! Wrath 2534 has gone 3318 forth 3318, A sweeping 1641 tempest 5591a; It will burst 2342a on the head 7218 of the wicked 7563.

 30:24 The fierce 2740 anger 639 of the LORD 3068 will not turn 7725 back 7725 Until 5704 He has performed 6213a and until 5704 He has accomplished 6965 The intent 4209 of His heart 3820; In the latter 319 days 3117 you will understand 995 this.
