וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ לְצִבָא הִנֵּה לְךָ כֹּל אֲשֶׁר לִמְפִי־בֹשֶׁת וַיֹּאמֶר צִיבָא הִשְׁתַּחֲוֵיתִי אֶמְצָא־חֵן בְּעֵינֶיךָ אֲדֹנִי הַמֶּלֶךְ

וּבָא הַמֶּלֶךְ דָּוִד עַד־בַּחוּרִים וְהִנֵּה מִשָּׁם אִישׁ יוֹצֵא מִמִּשְׁפַּחַת בֵּית־שָׁאוּל וּשְׁמוֹ שִׁמְעִי בֶן־גֵּרָא יֹצֵא יָצוֹא וּמְקַלֵּל

וַיְסַקֵּל בָּאֲבָנִים אֶת־דָּוִד וְאֶת־כָּל־עַבְדֵי הַמֶּלֶךְ דָּוִד וְכָל־הָעָם וְכָל־הַגִּבֹּרִים מִימִינוֹ וּמִשְּׂמֹאלוֹ

הֵשִׁיב עָלֶיךָ יְהוָה כֹּל דְּמֵי בֵית־שָׁאוּל אֲשֶׁר מָלַכְתָּ *תַּחְתּוֹ [תַּחְתָּיו] וַיִּתֵּן יְהוָה אֶת־הַמְּלוּכָה בְּיַד אַבְשָׁלוֹם בְּנֶךָ וְהִנְּךָ בְּרָעָתֶךָ כִּי אִישׁ דָּמִים אָתָּה

 16:8 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath returned 7725 z8689 upon x5921 thee all x3605 the blood 1818 of the house 1004 of Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל, 7586 in whose x834 stead x8478 thou hast reigned; 4427 z8804 and Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 hath delivered 5414 z8799 x853 the kingdom 4410 into the hand 3027 of ´Avšälôm אַבשָׁלוֹם 53 thy son: 1121 and, behold, x2009 thou [art taken] in thy mischief, 7451 because x3588 thou x859 [art] a bloody 1818 man. 376

 16:9 ¶ Then said 559 z8799 ´Ávîšay אֲבִישַׁי 52 the son 1121 of Xærûyà צְרוּיָה 6870 unto x413 the king, 4428 Why x4100 should this x2088 dead 4191 z8801 dog 3611 curse 7043 z8762 x853 my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן 113 the king? 4428 let me go over, 5674 z8799 I pray thee, x4994 and take off 5493 z8686 x853 his head. 7218

וַיֹּאמֶר חוּשַׁי אֶל־אַבְשָׁלֹם לֹא כִּי אֲשֶׁר בָּחַר יְהוָה וְהָעָם הַזֶּה וְכָל־אִישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל *לֹא [לוֹ] אֶהְיֶה וְאִתּוֹ אֵשֵׁב

 16:18 And Çûšay חוּשַׁי 2365 said 559 z8799 unto x413 ´Avšälôm אַבשָׁלוֹם, 53 Nay; x3808 but x3588 whom x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 and this x2088 people, 5971 and all x3605 the men 376 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 choose, 977 z8804 his will I be, x1961 and with x854 him will I abide. 3427 z8799

וְהַשֵּׁנִית לְמִי אֲנִי אֶעֱבֹד הֲלוֹא לִפְנֵי בְנוֹ כַּאֲשֶׁר עָבַדְתִּי לִפְנֵי אָבִיךָ כֵּן אֶהְיֶה לִפָנֶיךָ פ

 16:20 ¶ Then said 559 z8799 ´Avšälôm אַבשָׁלוֹם 53 to x413 ´Áçîŧöfel אֲחִיתֹפֶל, 302 Give 3051 z8798 counsel 6098 among you what x4100 we shall do. 6213 z8799

וַיֹּאמֶר אֲחִיתֹפֶל אֶל־אַבְשָׁלֹם בּוֹא אֶל־פִּלַגְשֵׁי אָבִיךָ אֲשֶׁר הִנִּיחַ לִשְׁמוֹר הַבָּיִת וְשָׁמַע כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי־נִבְאַשְׁתָּ אֶת־אָבִיךָ וְחָזְקוּ יְדֵי כָּל־אֲשֶׁר אִתָּךְ

 16:21 And ´Áçîŧöfel אֲחִיתֹפֶל 302 said 559 z8799 unto x413 ´Avšälôm אַבשָׁלוֹם, 53 Go x935 in y935 z8798 unto x413 thy father's 1 concubines, 6370 which x834 he hath left y3240 z8689 x5117 to keep 8104 z8800 the house; 1004 and all x3605 Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 shall hear 8085 z8804 that x3588 thou art abhorred 887 z8738 of x854 thy father: 1 then shall the hands 3027 of all x3605 that x834 [are] with x854 thee be strong. 2388 z8804

וַעֲצַת אֲחִיתֹפֶל אֲשֶׁר יָעַץ בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם כַּאֲשֶׁר יִשְׁאַל־*_ [אִישׁ] בִּדְבַר הָאֱלֹהִים כֵּן כָּל־עֲצַת אֲחִיתֹפֶל גַּם־לְדָוִד גַּם לְאַבְשָׁלֹם ס
