 8:1 ¶ Now Binyamin begat Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, and Achrach the third,

 8:2 Nôçà נוֹחָה° the fourth,° and Räfä´ רָפָא° the fifth.°

 8:2 Nochah the fourth, and Rafa the fifth.

 8:3 And the sons° of Bela` בֶּלַע° were,° ´Addär אַדָּר,° and Gërä´ גֵּרָא,° and ´Ávîhûđ אֲבִיהוּד,°

 8:3 And the sons of Bela were, Addar, and Gera, and Avihud,

 8:4 And ´Ávîšûå` אֲבִישׁוּעַ,° and Na`ámän נַעֲמָן,° and ´Áçôåç אֲחוֹחַ,°

 8:4 And Avishua, and Naaman, and Achoach,

 8:5 And Gërä´ גֵּרָא,° and Šæfûfän שְׁפוּפָן,° and Çûräm חוּרָם.°

 8:8 And Shacharayim begat [children] in the country of Moav, after he had sent them away; Chushim and Baara [were] his wives.

 8:9 And he begat°° of° Çöđeš חֹדֶשׁ° his wife,°° Yôväv יוֹבָב,° and Xivyä´ צִביָא,° and Mêšä´ מֵישָׁא,° and Malcäm מַלכָּם,°

 8:9 And he begat of Chodesh his wife, Yovav, and Tzivya, and Mesha, and Malkam,

 8:10 And Yæ`ûx יְעוּץ,° and Ŝäȼyà שָׂכיָה,° and Mirmà מִרמָה.° These° [were] his sons,° heads° of the fathers.°

 8:10 And Yeutz, and Sakhyah, and Mirmah. These [were] his sons, heads of the fathers.

 8:11 And of Çušîm חֻשִׁים°° he begat°°° ´Ávîţûv אֲבִיטוּב,° and ´Elpä`al אֶלפָּעַל.°

 8:11 And of Chushim he begat Avituv, and Elpaal.

 8:12 The sons° of ´Elpä`al אֶלפָּעַל;° `Ëver עֵבֶר,° and Miš`äm מִשׁעָם,° and Shamed,° who° built°°° ´Ônô אוֹנוֹ,° and Löđ לֹד,° with the towns° thereof:

 8:12 The sons of Elpaal; Ever, and Misham, and Shamed, who built Ono, and Lod, with the towns thereof:

 8:32 And Miklôŧ מִקלוֹת° begat°°° Šim`à שִׁמעָה.° And these° also° dwelt°° with° their brethren° in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם,° over against° them.°

 8:32 And Miqloth begat Shimah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Yerushalaim, over against them.

 8:33 ¶ And Nër נֵר° begat°°° Kîš קִישׁ,° and Kîš קִישׁ° begat°°° Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל,° and Šä´ûl שָׁאוּל° begat°°° Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָן,° and Malcî Šûå` מַלכִּי־שׁוּעַ,° and ´Ávînäđäv אֲבִינָדָב,° and ´Ešbä`al אֶשׁבָּעַל.°

 8:33 ¶ And Ner begat Qish, and Qish begat Shaul, and Shaul begat Yehonathan, and Malki-Shua, and Avinadav, and Eshbaal.

 8:34 And the son° of Yæhônäŧän יְהוֹנָתָן° [was] Mærîv Bä`al מְרִיב־בָּעַל;° and Mærîv Bä`al מְרִיב־בָּעַל° begat°°° Mîȼà מִיכָה.°

 8:34 And the son of Yehonathan [was] Meriv-Baal; and Meriv-Baal begat Mikhah.

 8:35 And the sons° of Mîȼà מִיכָה° [were], Pîŧôn פִּיתוֹן,° and Meleȼ מֶלֶך,° and Ta´rëå` תַּארֵעַ,° and ´Äçäz אָחָז.°

 8:35 And the sons of Mikhah [were], Pithon, and Melekh, and Tarea, and Achaz.

 8:36 And ´Äçäz אָחָז° begat°°° Yæhô`addà יְהוֹעַדָּה;° and Yæhô`addà יְהוֹעַדָּה° begat°°° `Älemeŧ עָלֶמֶת,° and `Azmäweŧ עַזמָוֶת,° and Zimrî זִמרִי;° and Zimrî זִמרִי° begat°°° Môxä´ מוֹצָא,°

 8:36 And Achaz begat Yehoaddah; and Yehoaddah begat Alemeth, and Azmaweth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Motza,

 8:37 And Môxä´ מוֹצָא° begat°°° Bin`ä´ בִּנעָא:° Räfä´ רָפָא° [was] his son,° ´El`äŝà אֶלעָשָׂה° his son,° ´Äxël אָצֵל° his son:°

 8:37 And Motza begat Bina: Rafa [was] his son, Elasah his son, Atzel his son:

 8:38 And ´Äxël אָצֵל° had six° sons,° whose names° [are] these,° `Azrîkäm עַזרִיקָם,° Böȼrû בֹּכרוּ,° and Yišmä`ë´l יִשׁמָעֵאל,° and Šæ`aryà שְׁעַריָה,° and `Övađyà עֹבַדיָה,° and Çänän חָנָן.° All° these° [were] the sons° of ´Äxël אָצֵל.°

 8:38 And Atzel had six sons, whose names [are] these, Azriqam, Bokhru, and Yishmael, and Shearyah, and Ovadyah, and Chanan. All these [were] the sons of Atzel.

 8:39 And the sons° of `Ëšek עֵשֶׁק° his brother° [were], ´Ûläm אוּלָם° his firstborn,° Yæ`ûš יְעוּשׁ° the second,° and ´Élîfeleţ אֱלִיפֶלֶט° the third.°

 8:39 And the sons of Esheq his brother [were], Ulam his firstborn, Yeush the second, and Elifelet the third.

 8:40 And the sons° of ´Ûläm אוּלָם° were° mighty° men°° of valour,° archers,°°° and had many°° sons,° and sons'° sons,° an hundred° and fifty.° All° these° [are] of the sons°° of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין.°

 8:40 And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, an hundred and fifty. All these [are] of the sons of Binyamin.
