unto all°
the congregation°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
If°
[it seem] good°°
unto°
you, and [that it be] of°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
our
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
let us send°°
abroad°°
unto°
our brethren°
every where, [that are] left°°
in all°
the land°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
and with°
them [also] to the priests°
and
Læwiyyim
לְוִיִּם°
[which are] in their cities°
[and] suburbs,°
that they may gather°°
themselves°
unto°
us: |

13:2
And Dawid said unto all the congregation of Yisrael, If [it seem] good unto you, and [that it be] of Yahweh our Elohim, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, [that are] left in all the land of Yisrael, and with them [also] to the priests and Lewiyyim [which are] in their cities [and] suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: |

And let us bring again°°°
the ark°
of our
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
to°
us: for°
we enquired°°
not°
at it in the days°
of
Šä´ûl
שָׁאוּל.° |

13:3
And let us bring again the ark of our Elohim to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Shaul. |

13:4
And all°
the congregation°
said°°
that they would do°
so:°°°
for°
the thing°
was right°°
in the eyes°
of all°
the people.° |

And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people. |

So

together,°°
from°
Šîçôr
שִׁיחוֹר°
of
Mixrayim
מִצרַיִם°
even unto°
the entering°°
of
Çámäŧ
חֲמָת,°
to bring°°°
the ark°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
from
Kiryaŧ Yæ`ärîm
קִריַת־יְעָרִים.°° |

So Dawid gathered all Yisrael together, from Shichor of Mitzrayim even unto the entering of Chamath, to bring the ark of Elohim from Qiryath-Yearim. |

And

went up,°°

Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
to
Ba`álà
בַּעֲלָה,°
[that is], to°
Kiryaŧ Yæ`ärîm
קִריַת־יְעָרִים,°
which°
[belonged] to
Yæhûđà
יְהוּדָה,°
to bring up°°
thence°°°
the ark°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
that dwelleth°°
[between] the cherubims,°
whose°
name°
is called°°
[on it]. |

And Dawid went up, and all Yisrael, to Baalah, [that is], to Qiryath-Yearim, which [belonged] to Yehudah, to bring up thence the ark of Elohim Yahweh, that dwelleth [between] the cherubims, whose name is called [on it]. |

And they carried°°°
the ark°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
in°
a new°
cart°
out of the house°°
of
´Ávînäđäv
אֲבִינָדָב:°
and
`Uzzä´
עֻזָּא°
and
´Açyô
אַחיוֹ°
drave°°
the cart.° |

13:7
And they carried the ark of Elohim in a new cart out of the house of Avinadav: and Uzza and Achyo drave the cart. |

13:8
And

and all°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
played°°
before°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
with all°
[their] might,°
and with singing,°
and with harps,°
and with psalteries,°
and with timbrels,°
and with cymbals,°
and with trumpets.° |

And Dawid and all Yisrael played before Elohim with all [their] might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets. |

13:9 ¶
And when they came°°
unto°
the threshingfloor°
of
Cîđön
כִּידֹן,°
`Uzzä´
עֻזָּא°
put forth°°°
his hand°
to hold°°°
the ark;°
for°
the oxen°
stumbled.°° |

13:9 ¶
And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Kidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. |

13:10
And the anger°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
was kindled°°
against
`Uzzä´
עֻזָּא,°
and he smote°°°
him, because°°
he put°°
his hand°
to°
the ark:°
and there°
he died°°
before°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.° |

13:10
And the anger of Yahweh was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before Elohim. |
|
13:11
And
Däwiđ
דָּוִד°
was displeased,°°
because°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
had made°°
a breach°
upon
`Uzzä´
עֻזָּא:°
wherefore that°
place°
is called°°
Perex `Uzzä´
פֶּרֶץ־עֻזָּא°
to°
this°
day.° |

13:11
And Dawid was displeased, because Yahweh had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Peretz-Uzza to this day. |

13:12
And
Däwiđ
דָּוִד°
was afraid°°°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
that°
day,°
saying,°°
How°
shall I bring°°°
the ark°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
[home] to°
me? |

13:12
And Dawid was afraid of Elohim that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of Elohim [home] to me? |
|
13:13
So
Däwiđ
דָּוִד°
brought°°
not°°
the ark°
[home] to°
himself to°
the city°
of
Däwiđ
דָּוִד,°
but carried it aside°°
into°
the house°
of
`Övëđ ´Éđôm
עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹם°
the
Gittî
גִּתִּי.° |

13:13
So Dawid brought not the ark [home] to himself to the city of Dawid, but carried it aside into the house of Oved-Edom the Gitti. |
|
13:14
And the ark°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
remained°°
with°
the family°
of
`Övëđ ´Éđôm
עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹם°
in his house°
three°
months.°
And
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
blessed°°°
the house°
of
`Övëđ ´Éđôm
עֹבֵד־אֱדוֹם,°
and all°
that°
he had. |

13:14
And the ark of Elohim remained with the family of Oved-Edom in his house three months. And Yahweh blessed the house of Oved-Edom, and all that he had. |
