[is] the house°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
and this°
[is] the altar°
of the burnt offering°
for
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל.° |

22:1 ¶
Then Dawid said, This [is] the house of Yahweh Elohim, and this [is] the altar of the burnt offering for Yisrael. |
|
22:2
And

דָּוִד°
commanded°°
to gather together°°°
the strangers°
that°
[were] in the land°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל;°
and he set°°
masons°°
to hew°°
wrought°
stones°
to build°°
the house°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.° |

22:2
And Dawid commanded to gather together the strangers that [were] in the land of Yisrael; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of Elohim. |
|
22:3
And

prepared°°
iron°
in abundance°
for the nails°
for the doors°
of the gates,°
and for the joinings;°
and brass°
in abundance°
without°
weight;° |

22:3
And Dawid prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight; |

22:4
Also cedar°
trees°
in abundance:°°
for°
the
Xîđônîm
צִידוֹנִים°
and they of
Xôr
צוֹר°
brought°°
much°
cedar°
wood°
to
Däwiđ
דָּוִד.° |

22:4
Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Tzidonim and they of Tzor brought much cedar wood to Dawid. |

22:5
And
Däwiđ
דָּוִד°
said,°°
Šælömò
שְׁלֹמֹה°
my son°
[is] young°
and tender,°
and the house°
[that is] to be builded°°
for
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
[must be] exceeding°
magnifical,°°
of fame°
and of glory°
throughout all°
countries:°
I will [therefore] now°
make preparation°°
for it. So
Däwiđ
דָּוִד°
prepared°°
abundantly°
before°
his death.° |

22:5
And Dawid said, Shelomoh my son [is] young and tender, and the house [that is] to be builded for Yahweh [must be] exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will [therefore] now make preparation for it. So Dawid prepared abundantly before his death. |
|
22:6 ¶
Then he called°°
for

his son,°
and charged°°
him to build°°
an house°
for
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל.° |

22:6 ¶
Then he called for Shelomoh his son, and charged him to build an house for Yahweh Elohim of Yisrael. |
|
22:7
And

to
Šælömò
שְׁלֹמֹה,°
My son,°
as for me,°
it was°
in°
my mind°
to build°°
an house°
unto the name°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
my
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים:° |

And Dawid said to Shelomoh, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of Yahweh my Elohim: |

22:8
But the word°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
came°
to°
me, saying,°°
Thou hast shed°°
blood°
abundantly,°
and hast made°°
great°
wars:°
thou shalt not°
build°°
an house°
unto my name,°
because°
thou hast shed°°
much°
blood°
upon the earth°
in my sight.° |

22:8
But the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. |

22:9
Behold,°
a son°
shall be born°°
to thee, who°
shall be°
a man°
of rest;°
and I will give him rest°°
from all°°
his enemies°°
round about:°°
for°
his name°
shall be°
Šælömò
שְׁלֹמֹה,°
and I will give°°
peace°
and quietness°
unto°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
in his days.° |

22:9
Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Shelomoh, and I will give peace and quietness unto Yisrael in his days. |
|
22:10
He°
shall build°°
an house°
for my name;°
and he°
shall be°
my son,°
and I°
[will be] his father;°
and I will establish°°
the throne°
of his kingdom°
over°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
for°
ever.°° |

22:10
He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I [will be] his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Yisrael for ever. |

22:11
Now,°
my son,°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
be°
with°
thee; and prosper°°
thou, and build°°
the house°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
thy
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
as°
he hath said°°
of°
thee. |

22:11
Now, my son, Yahweh be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of Yahweh thy Elohim, as he hath said of thee. |
|
22:12
Only°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
give°°
thee wisdom°
and understanding,°
and give thee charge°°
concerning°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל,°
that thou mayest keep°°°
the law°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
thy
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים.° |

22:12
Only Yahweh give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Yisrael, that thou mayest keep the law of Yahweh thy Elohim. |
|
22:13
Then°
shalt thou prosper,°°
if°
thou takest heed°°
to fulfil°°°
the statutes°
and judgments°
which°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
charged°°°
Möšè
מֹשֶׁה°
with concerning°
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל:°
be strong,°°
and of good courage;°°
dread°°
not,°
nor°
be dismayed.°° |

22:13
Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which Yahweh charged Mosheh with concerning Yisrael: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed. |
|
22:14
Now, behold,°
in my trouble°
I have prepared°°
for the house°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
an hundred°
thousand°
talents°
of gold,°
and a thousand°
thousand°
talents°
of silver;°
and of brass°
and iron°
without°
weight;°
for°
it is°
in abundance:°
timber°
also and stone°
have I prepared;°°
and thou mayest add°°
thereto.° |

Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of Yahweh an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto. |

22:15
Moreover [there are] workmen°°°
with°
thee in abundance,°
hewers°°
and workers°
of stone°
and timber,°
and all manner°
of cunning men°
for every manner°
of work.° |

Of the gold,°
the silver,°
and the brass,°
and the iron,°
[there is] no°
number.°
Arise°°
[therefore], and be doing,°°

with°
thee. |

Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, [there is] no number. Arise [therefore], and be doing, and Yahweh be with thee. |

22:17 ¶

the princes°
of
Yiŝrä´ël
יִשׂרָאֵל°
to help°°
Šælömò
שְׁלֹמֹה°
his son,°
[saying], |

22:17 ¶
Dawid also commanded all the princes of Yisrael to help Shelomoh his son, [saying], |
|
22:18
[Is] not°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
your
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים°
with°
you? and hath he [not] given you rest°°
on every side?°°
for°
he hath given°°°
the inhabitants°°
of the land°
into mine hand;°
and the land°
is subdued°°
before°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
and before°
his people.° |

[Is] not Yahweh your Elohim with you? and hath he [not] given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before Yahweh, and before his people. |

22:19
Now°
set°°
your heart°
and your soul°
to seek°°
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
your
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים;°
arise°°
therefore, and build°°
ye°
the sanctuary°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה°
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
to bring°°°
the ark°
of the covenant°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה,°
and the holy°
vessels°
of
´Élöhîm
אֱלֹהִים,°
into the house°
that is to be built°°
to the name°
of
Yähwè
יָהוֶה.° |

22:19
Now set your heart and your soul to seek Yahweh your Elohim; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of Yahweh Elohim, to bring the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and the holy vessels of Elohim, into the house that is to be built to the name of Yahweh. |
