the country°
of the children°

`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן,°
and came°°
and besieged°°°
Rabbà
רַבָּה.°
But
Däwiđ
דָּוִד°
tarried°°
at
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.°
And
Yô´äv
יוֹאָב°
smote°°°
Rabbà
רַבָּה,°
and destroyed°°
it. |

And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out [to battle], Yoav led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But Dawid tarried at Yerushalaim. And Yoav smote Rabbah, and destroyed it. |

a talent°
of gold,°
and [there were] precious°
stones°
in it; and it was set°

And Dawid took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and [there were] precious stones in it; and it was set upon Dawid's head: and he brought also exceeding much spoil out of the city. |

the people°

[were] in it, and cut°°
[them] with saws,°
and with harrows°
of iron,°
and with axes.°
Even so°
dealt°°

with all°
the cities°
of the children°

`Ammôn
עַמּוֹן.°
And
Däwiđ

and all°
the people°
returned°°
to
Yærûšälaim
יְרוּשָׁלִַם.° |

And he brought out the people that [were] in it, and cut [them] with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt Dawid with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And Dawid and all the people returned to Yerushalaim. |

And it came to pass°

that there arose°°
war°
at
Gezer
גֶּזֶר°
with°
the
Pælištîm
פְּלִשׁתִּים;°
at which time°
Sibbæȼay
סִבְּכַי°
the
Çušäŧî
חֻשָׁתִי°
slew°°°
Sippay
סִפַּי,°
[that was] of the children°°
of the giant:°
and they were subdued.°° |

And it came to pass after this, that there arose war at Gezer with the Pelishtim; at which time Sibbekhay the Chushathi slew Sippay, [that was] of the children of the giant: and they were subdued. |

and
´Elçänän
אֶלחָנָן°
the son°
of
Yä´îr
יָאִיר°
slew°°°
Laçmî
לַחמִי°
the brother°

Gittî
גִּתִּי,°
whose spear°
staff°
[was] like a weaver's°°

And there was war again with the Pelishtim; and Elchanan the son of Yair slew Lachmi the brother of Golyath the Gitti, whose spear staff [was] like a weaver's beam. |

And yet again°
there was°
war°
at
Gaŧ

where was°
a man°
of [great] stature,°
whose fingers°
and toes°
[were] four°
and twenty,°
six°
[on each hand], and six°
[on each foot]: and he°
also°
was the son°°
of the giant.° |

And yet again there was war at Gath, where was a man of [great] stature, whose fingers and toes [were] four and twenty, six [on each hand], and six [on each foot]: and he also was the son of the giant. |

But when he defied Yisrael, Yehonathan the son of Shima Dawid's brother slew him. |

unto the giant°

and they fell°°
by the hand°

דָּוִד,°
and by the hand°
of his servants.° |

These were born unto the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of Dawid, and by the hand of his servants. |
