Exodus 6

1 God reneweth his promise by his name JEHOVAH. 14 The genealogy of Reuben, 15 of Simeon, 16 of Levi, of whom came Moses and Aaron.

 6:1 Then the LORD 3068 said 559 to Moses 4872, “Now 6258 you shall see 7200 what 834 I will do 6213a to Pharaoh 6547; for under compulsion 2389 3027 he will let 7971 them go 7971, and under compulsion 2389 3027 he will drive 1644 them out of his land 776.”

 6:2 ¶ God 430 spoke 1696 further to Moses 4872 and said 559 to him, “I am the LORD 3068;

 6:3 and I appeared 7200 to Abraham 85, Isaac 3327, and Jacob 3290, as God 410 Almighty 7706b, but [by] My name 8034, LORD 3068, I did not make 3045 Myself known 3045 to them.

 6:4 “I also 1571 established 6965 My covenant 1285 with them, to give 5414 them the land 776 of Canaan 3667a, the land 776 in which 834 they sojourned 1481a.

 6:5 “Furthermore 1571 I have heard 8085 the groaning 5009 of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, because 834 the Egyptians 4714 are holding 5647 them in bondage 5647, and I have remembered 2142 My covenant 1285.

 6:6 “Say 559, therefore 3651, to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, ‘I am the LORD 3068, and I will bring 3318 you out from under 8478 the burdens 5450 of the Egyptians 4714, and I will deliver 5337 you from their bondage 5656. I will also redeem 1350 you with an outstretched 5186 arm 2220 and with great 1419 judgments 8201.

 6:7 ‘Then I will take 3947 you for My people 5971a, and I will be your God 430; and you shall know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068 your God 430, who brought 3318 you out from under 8478 the burdens 5450 of the Egyptians 4714.

 6:8 ‘I will bring 935 you to the land 776 which 834 I swore 5375 3027 to give 5414 to Abraham 85, Isaac 3327, and Jacob 3290, and I will give 5414 it to you [for] a possession 4181; I am the LORD 3068.’”

 6:9 So Moses 4872 spoke 1696 thus 3651 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, but they did not listen 8085 to Moses 4872 on account 4480 of [their] despondency 7115 7307 and cruel 7186 bondage 5656.

 6:10 ¶ Now the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 6:11 “Go 935, tell 1696 Pharaoh 6547 king 4428 of Egypt 4714 to let 7971 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 go 7971 out of his land 776.”

 6:12 But Moses 4872 spoke 1696 before 6440 the LORD 3068, saying 559, “Behold 2005, the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 have not listened 8085 to me; how 349 then will Pharaoh 6547 listen 8085 to me, for I am unskilled 6189 in speech 8193?”

 6:13 Then the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872 and to Aaron 175, and gave 6680 them a charge 6680 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 and to Pharaoh 6547 king 4428 of Egypt 4714, to bring 3318 the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 out of the land 776 of Egypt 4714.

 6:14 ¶ These 428 are the heads 7218 of their fathers’ 1 households 1004. The sons 1121 of Reuben 7205, Israel’s 3478 firstborn 1060: Hanoch 2585 and Pallu 6396, Hezron 2696 and Carmi 3756; these 428 are the families 4940 of Reuben 7205.

 6:15 The sons 1121 of Simeon 8095: Jemuel 3223 and Jamin 3226 and Ohad 161 and Jachin 3199 and Zohar 6714 and Shaul 7586 the son 1121 of a Canaanite 3669a woman 3669a; these 428 are the families 4940 of Simeon 8095.

 6:16 These 428 are the names 8034 of the sons 1121 of Levi 3878 according to their generations 8435: Gershon 1648 and Kohath 6955 and Merari 4847; and the length 8141 of Levi’s 3878 life 2425b was one hundred 3967 and thirty-seven 7970 7651 years 8141.

 6:17 The sons 1121 of Gershon 1648: Libni 3845 and Shimei 8096, according to their families 4940.

 6:18 The sons 1121 of Kohath 6955: Amram 6019 and Izhar 3324 and Hebron 2275b and Uzziel 5816; and the length 8141 of Kohath’s 6955 life 2425b was one hundred 3967 and thirty-three 7970 7969 years 8141.

 6:19 The sons 1121 of Merari 4847: Mahli 4249 and Mushi 4187. These 428 are the families 4940 of the Levites 3881 according to their generations 8435.

 6:20 Amram 6019 married 3947 802 his father’s 1733 sister 1733 Jochebed 3115, and she bore 3205 him Aaron 175 and Moses 4872; and the length 8141 of Amram’s 6019 life 2425b was one hundred 3967 and thirty-seven 7970 7651 years 8141.

 6:21 The sons 1121 of Izhar 3324: Korah 7141 and Nepheg 5298 and Zichri 2147.

 6:22 The sons 1121 of Uzziel 5816: Mishael 4332 and Elzaphan 469 and Sithri 5644.

 6:23 Aaron 175 married 3947 802 Elisheba 472, the daughter 1323 of Amminadab 5992, the sister 269 of Nahshon 5177, and she bore 3205 him Nadab 5070 and Abihu 30, Eleazar 499 and Ithamar 385.

 6:24 The sons 1121 of Korah 7141: Assir 617 and Elkanah 511 and Abiasaph 23; these 428 are the families 4940 of the Korahites 7145.

 6:25 Aaron’s 175 son 1121 Eleazar 499 married 3947 802 one 4480 of the daughters 1323 of Putiel 6317, and she bore 3205 him Phinehas 6372. These 428 are the heads 7218 of the fathers’ 1 [households] of the Levites 3881 according to their families 4940.

 6:26 It was [the same] Aaron 175 and Moses 4872 to whom 834 the LORD 3068 said 559, “Bring 3318 out the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 from the land 776 of Egypt 4714 according 5921 to their hosts 6635.”

 6:27 They were the ones who spoke 1696 to Pharaoh 6547 king 4428 of Egypt 4714 about bringing 3318 out the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 from Egypt 4714; it was [the same] Moses 4872 and Aaron 175.

 6:28 ¶ Now it came 1961 about on the day 3117 when the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872 in the land 776 of Egypt 4714,

 6:29 that the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559, “I am the LORD 3068; speak 1696 to Pharaoh 6547 king 4428 of Egypt 4714 all 3605 that I speak 1696 to you.”

 6:30 But Moses 4872 said 559 before 6440 the LORD 3068, “Behold 2005, I am unskilled 6189 in speech 8193; how 349 then will Pharaoh 6547 listen 8085 to me?”
