1 Moses' song. 22 The people want water. 23 The waters at Marah are bitter. 25 A tree sweeteneth them. 27 At Elim are twelve wells, and seventy palm trees.

 15:1 Then 227 Moses 4872 and the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 sang 7891 this 2088 song 7892b to the LORD 3068, and said 559, “I will sing 7891 to the LORD 3068, for He is highly 1342 exalted 1342; The horse 5483b and its rider 7392 He has hurled 7411a into the sea 3220.

 15:2 “The LORD 3050 is my strength 5797 and song 2172, And He has become 1961 my salvation 3444; This 2088 is my God 410, and I will praise 5115a Him; My father’s 1 God 430, and I will extol 7311 Him.

 15:3 “The LORD 3068 is a warrior 4421; The LORD 3068 is His name 8034.

 15:4 “Pharaoh’s 6547 chariots 4818 and his army 2428 He has cast 3384 into the sea 3220; And the choicest 4005 of his officers 7991c are drowned 2883 in the Red 5488 3220 Sea 3220.

 15:5 “The deeps 8415 cover 3680 them; They went 3381 down 3381 into the depths 4688 like 3644 a stone 68.

 15:6 “Your right 3225 hand 3225, O LORD 3068, is majestic 142 in power 3581b, Your right 3225 hand 3225, O LORD 3068, shatters 7492 the enemy 340.

 15:7 “And in the greatness 7230 of Your excellence 1347b You overthrow 2040 those who rise 6965 up against You; You send 7971 forth Your burning 2740 anger 2740, [and] it consumes 398 them as chaff 7179.

 15:8 “At the blast 7307 of Your nostrils 639 the waters 4325 were piled 6192 up, The flowing 5140 waters 4325 stood 5324 up like 3644 a heap 5067a; The deeps 8415 were congealed 7087a in the heart 3820 of the sea 3220.

 15:9 “The enemy 340 said 559, ‘I will pursue 7291, I will overtake 5381, I will divide 2505a the spoil 7998; My desire 5315 shall be gratified 4390 against them; I will draw 7385a out my sword 2719, my hand 3027 will destroy 3423 them.’

 15:10 “You blew 5398 with Your wind 7307, the sea 3220 covered 3680 them; They sank 6749 like lead 5777 in the mighty 117 waters 4325.

 15:11 “Who 4310 is like 3644 You among the gods 410, O LORD 3068? Who 4310 is like 3644 You, majestic 142 in holiness 6944, Awesome 3372a in praises 8416, working 6213a wonders 6382?

 15:12 “You stretched 5186 out Your right 3225 hand 3225, The earth 776 swallowed 1104 them.

 15:13 “In Your lovingkindness 2617a You have led 5148 the people 5971a whom 2098 You have redeemed 1350; In Your strength 5797 You have guided 5095 [them] to Your holy 6944 habitation 5116a.

 15:14 “The peoples 5971a have heard 8085, they tremble 7264; Anguish 2427 has gripped 270 the inhabitants 3427 of Philistia 6429.

 15:15 “Then 227 the chiefs 441b of Edom 112b were dismayed 926; The leaders 352c of Moab 4124, trembling 7461a grips 270 them; All 3605 the inhabitants 3427 of Canaan 3667a have melted 4127 away 4127.

 15:16 “Terror 367 and dread 6343 fall 5307 upon them; By the greatness 1419 of Your arm 2220 they are motionless 1826a as stone 68; Until 5704 Your people 5971a pass 5674a over 5674a, O LORD 3068, Until 5704 the people 5971a pass 5674a over 5674a whom 2098 You have purchased 7069.

 15:17 “You will bring 935 them and plant 5193 them in the mountain 2022 of Your inheritance 5159, The place 4349, O LORD 3068, which You have made 6466 for Your dwelling 3427, The sanctuary 4720, O Lord 136, which Your hands 3027 have established 3559.

 15:18 “The LORD 3068 shall reign 4427a forever 5769 and ever 5703.”

 15:19 ¶ For the horses 5483b of Pharaoh 6547 with his chariots 7393 and his horsemen 6571b went 935 into the sea 3220, and the LORD 3068 brought 7725 back 7725 the waters 4325 of the sea 3220 on them, but the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 walked 1980 on dry 3004 land 3004 through the midst 8432 of the sea 3220.

 15:20 ¶ Miriam 4813 the prophetess 5031, Aaron’s 175 sister 269, took 3947 the timbrel 8596 in her hand 3027, and all 3605 the women 802 went 3318 out after 310 her with timbrels 8596 and with dancing 4246.

 15:22 ¶ Then Moses 4872 led 5265 Israel 3478 from the Red 5488 3220 Sea 3220, and they went 3318 out into the wilderness 4057b of Shur 7793; and they went 1980 three 7969 days 3117 in the wilderness 4057b and found 4672 no 3808 water 4325.

 15:27 ¶ Then they came 935 to Elim 362 where 8033 there [were] twelve 8147 6240 springs 5871a of water 4325 and seventy 7657 date 8558 palms 8558, and they camped 2583 there 8033 beside 5921 the waters 4325.
