Exodus 35

1 The Sabbath. 4 The free gifts for the Tabernacle. 20 The readiness of the people to offer. 30 Bezaleel and Aholiab are called to the work.

 35:1 Then Moses 4872 assembled 6950 all 3605 the congregation 5712 of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, and said 559 to them, “These 428 are the things 1697 that the LORD 3068 has commanded 6680 [you] to do 6213a:

 35:2 ¶ “For six 8337a days 3117 work 4399 may be done 6213a, but on the seventh 7637 day 3117 you shall have 1961 a holy 6944 [day], a sabbath 7676 of complete 7677 rest 7677 to the LORD 3068; whoever 3605 does 6213a any work 4399 on it shall be put 4191 to death 4191.

 35:3 “You shall not kindle 1197a a fire 784 in any 3605 of your dwellings 4186 on the sabbath 7676 day 3117.”

 35:4 ¶ Moses 4872 spoke 559 to all 3605 the congregation 5712 of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, saying 559, “This 2088 is the thing 1697 which 834 the LORD 3068 has commanded 6680, saying 559,

 35:5 ‘Take 3947 from among you a contribution 8641 to the LORD 3068; whoever 3605 is of a willing 5081 heart 3820, let him bring 935 it as the LORD’S 3068 contribution 8641: gold 2091, silver 3701, and bronze 5178,

 35:6 and blue 8504, purple 713 and scarlet 8144 [material], fine 8336 linen 8336, goats’ 5795 [hair],

 35:7 and rams’ 352a skins 5785 dyed 119 red 119, and porpoise 8476 skins 5785, and acacia 7848 wood 6086,

 35:8 and oil 8081 for lighting 3974, and spices 1314 for the anointing 4888b oil 8081, and for the fragrant 5561 incense 7004,

 35:9 and onyx 7718 stones 68 and setting 4394 stones 68 for the ephod 646 and for the breastpiece 2833.

 35:10 ¶ ‘Let every 3605 skillful 2450 3820 man 2450 3820 among you come 935, and make 6213a all 3605 that the LORD 3068 has commanded 6680:

 35:11 the tabernacle 4908, its tent 168 and its covering 4372, its hooks 7165 and its boards 7175b, its bars 1280, its pillars 5982, and its sockets 134;

 35:12 the ark 727 and its poles 905, the mercy 3727 seat 3727, and the curtain 6532 of the screen 4539;

 35:13 the table 7979 and its poles 905, and all 3605 its utensils 3627, and the bread 3899 of the Presence 6440;

 35:14 the lampstand 4501 also for the light 3974 and its utensils 3627 and its lamps 5216 and the oil 8081 for the light 3974;

 35:15 and the altar 4196 of incense 7004 and its poles 905, and the anointing 4888b oil 8081 and the fragrant 5561 incense 7004, and the screen 4539 for the doorway 6607 at the entrance 6607 of the tabernacle 4908;

 35:16 the altar 4196 of burnt 5930a offering 5930a with its bronze 5178 grating 4346, its poles 905, and all 3605 its utensils 3627, the basin 3595 and its stand 3653b;

 35:17 the hangings 7050b of the court 2691a, its pillars 5982 and its sockets 134, and the screen 4539 for the gate 8179 of the court 2691a;

 35:18 the pegs 3489 of the tabernacle 4908 and the pegs 3489 of the court 2691a and their cords 4340;

 35:19 the woven 8278 garments 899b for ministering 8334 in the holy 6944 place, the holy 6944 garments 899b for Aaron 175 the priest 3548 and the garments 899b of his sons 1121, to minister 3547 as priests 3547.’”

 35:20 ¶ Then all 3605 the congregation 5712 of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 departed 3318 from Moses’ 4872 presence 6440.

 35:21 Everyone 3605 376 whose 834 heart 3820 stirred 5375 him and everyone 3605 whose 834 spirit 7307 moved 5068 him came 935 [and] brought 935 the LORD’S 3068 contribution 8641 for the work 4399 of the tent 168 of meeting 4150 and for all 3605 its service 5656 and for the holy 6944 garments 899b.

 35:22 Then all 3605 whose hearts 3820 moved 5081 them, both men 376 and women 802, came 935 [and] brought 935 brooches 2397 and earrings 5141 and signet 2885 rings 2885 and bracelets 3558, all 3605 articles 3627 of gold 2091; so [did] every 3605 man 376 who 834 presented 5130 an offering 8573 of gold 2091 to the LORD 3068.

 35:23 Every 3605 man 376, who 834 had 4672 in his possession 854 blue 8504 and purple 713 and scarlet 8144 [material] and fine 8336 linen 8336 and goats’ 5795 [hair] and rams’ 352a skins 5785 dyed 119 red 119 and porpoise 8476 skins 5785, brought 935 them.

 35:24 Everyone 3605 who could make 7311 a contribution 8641 of silver 3701 and bronze 5178 brought 935 the LORD’S 3068 contribution 8641; and every 3605 man who 834 had 4672 in his possession 854 acacia 7848 wood 6086 for any 3605 work 4399 of the service 5656 brought 935 it.

 35:25 All 3605 the skilled 2450 3820 women 802 spun 2901 with their hands 3027, and brought 935 what 4299 they had spun 4299, [in] blue 8504 and purple 713 [and] scarlet 8144 [material] and [in] fine 8336 linen 8336.

 35:26 All 3605 the women 802 whose 834 heart 3820 stirred 5375 with a skill 2451 spun 2901 the goats’ 5795 [hair].

 35:27 The rulers 5387a brought 935 the onyx 7718 stones 68 and the stones 68 for setting 4394 for the ephod 646 and for the breastpiece 2833;

 35:28 and the spice 1314 and the oil 8081 for the light 3974 and for the anointing 4888b oil 8081 and for the fragrant 5561 incense 7004.

 35:29 The Israelites 3478 1121, all 3605 the men 376 and women 802, whose 834 heart 3820 moved 5068 them to bring 935 [material] for all 3605 the work 4399, which 834 the LORD 3068 had commanded 6680 through 3027 Moses 4872 to be done 6213a, brought 935 a freewill 5071 offering 5071 to the LORD 3068.

 35:30 ¶ Then Moses 4872 said 559 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, “See 7200, the LORD 3068 has called 7121 by name 8034 Bezalel 1212 the son 1121 of Uri 221, the son 1121 of Hur 2354, of the tribe 4294 of Judah 3063.

 35:31 “And He has filled 4390 him with the Spirit 7307 of God 430, in wisdom 2451, in understanding 8394 and in knowledge 1847 and in all 3605 craftsmanship 4399;

 35:32 to make 2803 designs 4284 for working 6213a in gold 2091 and in silver 3701 and in bronze 5178,

 35:33 and in the cutting 2799 of stones 68 for settings 4390 and in the carving 2799 of wood 6086, so as to perform 6213a in every 3605 inventive 4284 work 4399.

 35:34 “He also has put 5414 in his heart 3820 to teach 3384, both he and Oholiab 171, the son 1121 of Ahisamach 294, of the tribe 4294 of Dan 1835.

 35:35 “He has filled 4390 them with skill 2451 3820 to perform 6213a every 3605 work 4399 of an engraver 2796 and of a designer 2803 and of an embroiderer 7551, in blue 8504 and in purple 713 [and] in scarlet 8144 [material], and in fine 8336 linen 8336, and of a weaver 707, as performers 6213a of every 3605 work 4399 and makers 2803 of designs 4284.
