Exodus 31

1 Bezaleel and Aholiab are called and made meet for the work of the Tabernacle. 12 The observation of the Sabbath is again commanded. 18 Moses receiveth the two tables.

 31:1 Now the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 31:2 “See 7200, I have called 7121 by name 8034 Bezalel 1212, the son 1121 of Uri 221, the son 1121 of Hur 2354, of the tribe 4294 of Judah 3063.

 31:3 “I have filled 4390 him with the Spirit 7307 of God 430 in wisdom 2451, in understanding 8394, in knowledge 1847, and in all 3605 [kinds of] craftsmanship 4399,

 31:4 to make 2803 artistic designs 4284 for work 6213a in gold 2091, in silver 3701, and in bronze 5178,

 31:5 and in the cutting 2799 of stones 68 for settings 4390, and in the carving 2799 of wood 6086, that he may work 6213a in all 3605 [kinds of] craftsmanship 4399.

 31:6 “And behold 2009, I Myself 589 have appointed 5414 with him Oholiab 171, the son 1121 of Ahisamach 294, of the tribe 4294 of Dan 1835; and in the hearts 3820 of all 3605 who 2450 are skillful 2450 3820 I have put 5414 skill 2451, that they may make 6213a all 3605 that I have commanded 6680 you:

 31:7 the tent 168 of meeting 4150, and the ark 727 of testimony 5715, and the mercy 3727 seat 3727 upon it, and all 3605 the furniture 3627 of the tent 168,

 31:8 the table 7979 also and its utensils 3627, and the pure 2889 [gold] lampstand 4501 with all 3605 its utensils 3627, and the altar 4196 of incense 7004,

 31:9 the altar 4196 of burnt 5930a offering 5930a also with all 3605 its utensils 3627, and the laver 3595 and its stand 3653b,

 31:10 the woven 8278 garments 899b as well, and the holy 6944 garments 899b for Aaron 175 the priest 3548, and the garments 899b of his sons 1121, [with which] to carry 3547 on their priesthood 3547;

 31:11 the anointing 4888b oil 8081 also, and the fragrant 5561 incense 7004 for the holy 6944 place, they are to make 6213a [them] according to all 3605 that I have commanded 6680 you.”

 31:12 ¶ The LORD 3068 spoke 559 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 31:13 “But as for you, speak 1696 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, saying 559, ‘You shall surely 389 observe 8104 My sabbaths 7676; for [this] is a sign 226 between 996 Me and you throughout your generations 1755, that you may know 3045 that I am the LORD 3068 who sanctifies 6942 you.

 31:14 ‘Therefore you are to observe 8104 the sabbath 7676, for it is holy 6944 to you. Everyone who profanes 2490c it shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191; for whoever 3605 does 6213a any 3605 work 4399 on it, that person 5315 shall be cut 3772 off 3772 from among 7130 his people 5971b.

 31:15 ‘For six 8337a days 3117 work 4399 may be done 6213a, but on the seventh 7637 day 3117 there is a sabbath 7676 of complete 7677 rest 7677, holy 6944 to the LORD 3068; whoever 3605 does 6213a any 3605 work 4399 on the sabbath 7676 day 3117 shall surely 4191 be put 4191 to death 4191.

 31:16 ‘So the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 shall observe 8104 the sabbath 7676, to celebrate 6213a the sabbath 7676 throughout their generations 1755 as a perpetual 5769 covenant 1285.’

 31:17 “It is a sign 226 between 996 Me and the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 forever 5769; for in six 8337a days 3117 the LORD 3068 made 6213a heaven 8064 and earth 776, but on the seventh 7637 day 3117 He ceased 7673a [from labor], and was refreshed 5314.”

 31:18 ¶ When He had finished 3615 speaking 1696 with him upon Mount 2022 Sinai 5514, He gave 5414 Moses 4872 the two 8147 tablets 3871 of the testimony 5715, tablets 3871 of stone 68, written 3789 by the finger 676 of God 430.
