Exodus 30

1 The altar of incense. 11 The ransom of souls. 17 The brasen laver. 22 The holy anointing oil. 34 The composition of the perfume.

 30:1 “Moreover, you shall make 6213a an altar 4196 as a place 4729a for burning 4729a incense 7004; you shall make 6213a it of acacia 7848 wood 6086.

 30:2 “Its length 753 [shall be] a cubit 520, and its width 7341 a cubit 520, it shall be square 7251, and its height 6967 [shall be] two cubits 520; its horns 7161 [shall be] of one piece with it.

 30:3 “You shall overlay 6823 it with pure 2889 gold 2091, its top 1406 and its sides 7023 all 5439 around 5439, and its horns 7161; and you shall make 6213a a gold 2091 molding 2213 all 5439 around 5439 for it.

 30:4 “You shall make 6213a two 8147 gold 2091 rings 2885 for it under 8478 its molding 2213; you shall make 6213a [them] on its two 8147 side 6654 walls 6763—on opposite 8147 sides 6654—and they shall be holders 1004 for poles 905 with which 1992a to carry 5375 it.

 30:5 “You shall make 6213a the poles 905 of acacia 7848 wood 6086 and overlay 6823 them with gold 2091.

 30:6 “You shall put 5414 this altar in front 6440 of the veil 6532 that is near 5921 the ark 727 of the testimony 5715, in front 6440 of the mercy 3727 seat 3727 that is over 5921 [the ark of] the testimony 5715, where 834 8033 I will meet 3259 with you.

 30:7 “Aaron 175 shall burn 6999 fragrant 5561 incense 7004 on it; he shall burn 6999 it every morning 1242 when he trims 3190 the lamps 5216.

 30:8 “When Aaron 175 trims 5927 the lamps 5216 at twilight 6153, he shall burn 6999 incense 6999. [There shall be] perpetual 8548 incense 7004 before 6440 the LORD 3068 throughout your generations 1755.

 30:9 “You shall not offer 5927 any strange 2114a incense 7004 on this altar, or burnt 5930a offering 5930a or meal 4503 offering 4503; and you shall not pour 5258a out a drink 5262a offering 5262a on it.

 30:10 “Aaron 175 shall make 3722a atonement 3722a on its horns 7161 once 259 a year 8141; he shall make 3722a atonement 3722a on it with the blood 1818 of the sin 2403b offering 2403b of atonement 3725 once 259 a year 8141 throughout your generations 1755. It is most 6944 holy 6944 to the LORD 3068.”

 30:11 ¶ The LORD 3068 also spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 30:12 “When 3588 you take 5375 a census 7218 of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 to number 6485 them, then each 376 one 376 of them shall give 5414 a ransom 3724a for himself 5315 to the LORD 3068, when you number 6485 them, so that there will be no 3808 plague 5063 among them when you number 6485 them.

 30:13 “This 2088 is what everyone 3605 who is numbered 6485 shall give 5414: half 4276 a shekel 8255 according to the shekel 8255 of the sanctuary 6944 (the shekel 8255 is twenty 6242 gerahs 1626), half 4276 a shekel 8255 as a contribution 8641 to the LORD 3068.

 30:14 “Everyone 3605 who is numbered 6485, from twenty 6242 years 8141 old 1121 and over 4605, shall give 5414 the contribution 8641 to the LORD 3068.

 30:15 “The rich 6223 shall not pay 7235a more 7235a and the poor 1800b shall not pay 4591 less 4591 than 4480 the half 4276 shekel 8255, when you give 5414 the contribution 8641 to the LORD 3068 to make 3722a atonement 3722a for yourselves 5315.

 30:16 “You shall take 3947 the atonement 3725 money 3701 from the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 and shall give 5414 it for the service 5656 of the tent 168 of meeting 4150, that it may be a memorial 2146 for the sons 1121 of Israel 3478 before 6440 the LORD 3068, to make 3722a atonement 3722a for yourselves 5315.”

 30:17 ¶ The LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 30:18 “You shall also make 6213a a laver 3595 of bronze 5178, with its base 3653b of bronze 5178, for washing 7364; and you shall put 5414 it between 996 the tent 168 of meeting 4150 and the altar 4196, and you shall put 5414 water 4325 in it.

 30:19 “Aaron 175 and his sons 1121 shall wash 7364 their hands 3027 and their feet 7272 from it;

 30:20 when they enter 935 the tent 168 of meeting 4150, they shall wash 7364 with water 4325, so that they will not die 4191; or 176 when they approach 5066 the altar 4196 to minister 8334, by offering 6999 up in smoke 6999 a fire 801 [sacrifice] to the LORD 3068.

 30:21 “So they shall wash 7364 their hands 3027 and their feet 7272, so that they will not die 4191; and it shall be a perpetual 5769 statute 2706 for them, for Aaron and his descendants 2233 throughout their generations 1755.”

 30:22 ¶ Moreover, the LORD 3068 spoke 1696 to Moses 4872, saying 559,

 30:23 “Take 3947 also for yourself the finest 7218 of spices 1314: of flowing 1865 myrrh 4753 five 2568 hundred 3967 [shekels], and of fragrant 1314 cinnamon 7076 half 4276 as much 4276, two hundred 3967 and fifty 2572, and of fragrant 1314 cane 7070 two hundred 3967 and fifty 2572,

 30:24 and of cassia 6916 five 2568 hundred 3967, according to the shekel 8255 of the sanctuary 6944, and of olive 2132 oil 8081 a hin 1969.

 30:25 “You shall make 6213a of these a holy 6944 anointing 4888b oil 8081, a perfume 7545 mixture 4842, the work 7660 of a perfumer 7543; it shall be a holy 6944 anointing 4888b oil 8081.

 30:26 “With it you shall anoint 4886 the tent 168 of meeting 4150 and the ark 727 of the testimony 5715,

 30:27 and the table 7979 and all 3605 its utensils 3627, and the lampstand 4501 and its utensils 3627, and the altar 4196 of incense 7004,

 30:28 and the altar 4196 of burnt 5930a offering 5930a and all 3605 its utensils 3627, and the laver 3595 and its stand 3653b.

 30:29 “You shall also consecrate 6942 them, that they may be most 6944 holy 6944; whatever 3605 touches 5060 them shall be holy 6942.

 30:30 “You shall anoint 4886 Aaron 175 and his sons 1121, and consecrate 6942 them, that they may minister 3547 as priests 3547 to Me.

 30:31 “You shall speak 1696 to the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, saying 559, ‘This 2088 shall be a holy 6944 anointing 4888b oil 8081 to Me throughout your generations 1755.

 30:32 ‘It shall not be poured 5480a on anyone’s 120 body 1320, nor 3808 shall you make 6213a [any] like 3644 it in the same proportions 4971; it is holy 6944, [and] it shall be holy 6944 to you.

 30:33 ‘Whoever 376 834 shall mix 7543 [any] like 3644 it or whoever 834 puts 5414 any 4480 of it on a layman 2114a shall be cut 3772 off 3772 from his people 5971b.’”

 30:34 ¶ Then the LORD 3068 said 559 to Moses 4872, “Take 3947 for yourself spices 5561, stacte 5198b and onycha 7827 and galbanum 2464, spices 5561 with pure 2134 frankincense 3828; there shall be an equal part 905 of each 905.

 30:35 “With it you shall make 6213a incense 7004, a perfume 7545, the work 7660 of a perfumer 7543, salted 4414b, pure 2889, [and] holy 6944.

 30:36 “You shall beat 7833 some 4480 of it very 1854 fine 1854, and put 5414 part of it before 6440 the testimony 5715 in the tent 168 of meeting 4150 where 834 8033 I will meet 3259 with you; it shall be most 6944 holy 6944 to you.

 30:37 “The incense 7004 which 834 you shall make 6213a, you shall not make 6213a in the same proportions 4971 for yourselves; it shall be holy 6944 to you for the LORD 3068.

 30:38 “Whoever 376 834 shall make 6213a [any] like 3644 it, to use 7381a as perfume 7381a, shall be cut 3772 off 3772 from his people 5971b.”
