וַיֹּאמֶר מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־עֲבָדָיו הַיְדַעְתֶּם כִּי־לָנוּ רָמֹת גִּלְעָד וַאֲנַחְנוּ מַחְשִׁים מִקַּחַת אֹתָהּ מִיַּד מֶלֶךְ אֲרָם

 22:3 And the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said 559 z8799 unto x413 his servants, 5650 Know 3045 z8804 ye that x3588 Rämôŧ רָמוֹת y7433 in Gil`äđ גִּלעָד y1568 x7433 [is] ours, and we x587 [be] still, 2814 z8688 [and] take 3947 z8800 x4480 it not out of the hand 3027 x4480 of the king 4428 of ´Áräm אֲרָם? 758

וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־יְהוֹשָׁפָט הֲתֵלֵךְ אִתִּי לַמִּלְחָמָה רָמֹת גִּלְעָד וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשָׁפָט אֶל־מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּמוֹנִי כָמוֹךָ כְּעַמִּי כְעַמֶּךָ כְּסוּסַי כְּסוּסֶיךָ

 22:4 waYomer el-y'hôshäfäţ hátëlëkh' iTiy laMil'chämäh rämot Gil'äd waYomer y'hôshäfäţ el-melekh' yis'räël Kämôniy khämôkhä K'aMiy kh'aMekhä K'šûšay K'šûšeykhä

 22:4 And he said 559 z8799 unto x413 Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט, 3092 Wilt thou go y3212 z8799 x1980 with x854 me to battle 4421 to Rämôŧ Gil`äđ רָמוֹת־גִּלעָד? 7433 y1568 And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 said 559 z8799 to x413 the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 I [am] as thou y3644 [art], my people 5971 as thy people, 5971 my horses 5483 as thy horses. 5483

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשָׁפָט אֶל־מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל דְּרָשׁ־נָא כַיּוֹם אֶת־דְּבַר יְהוָה

 22:5 And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 said 559 z8799 unto x413 the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478 Enquire, 1875 z8798 I pray thee, x4994 at x853 the word 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 to day. 3117

וַיִּקְבֹּץ מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־הַנְּבִיאִים כְּאַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת אִישׁ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵהֶם הַאֵלֵךְ עַל־רָמֹת גִּלְעָד לַמִּלְחָמָה אִם־אֶחְדָּל וַיֹּאמְרוּ עֲלֵה וְיִתֵּן אֲדֹנָי בְּיַד הַמֶּלֶךְ

 22:6 Then the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 gathered y6908 z0 the prophets y5030 together, 6908 z8799 x853 x5030 about four 702 hundred 3967 men, 376 and said 559 z8799 unto x413 them, Shall I go y3212 z8799 x1980 against x5921 Rämôŧ Gil`äđ רָמוֹת־גִּלעָד 7433 y1568 to battle, 4421 or x518 shall I forbear? 2308 z8799 And they said, 559 z8799 Go up; 5927 z8798 for Yähwè יָהוֶה 136 shall deliver 5414 z8799 [it] into the hand 3027 of the king. 4428

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשָׁפָט הַאֵין פֹּה נָבִיא לַיהוָה עוֹד וְנִדְרְשָׁה מֵאוֹתוֹ

וַיֹּאמֶר מֶלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהוֹשָׁפָט עוֹד אִישׁ־אֶחָד לִדְרֹשׁ אֶת־יְהוָה מֵאֹתוֹ וַאֲנִי שְׂנֵאתִיו כִּי לֹא־יִתְנַבֵּא עָלַי טוֹב כִּי אִם־רָע מִיכָיְהוּ בֶּן־יִמְלָה וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוֹשָׁפָט אַל־יֹאמַר הַמֶּלֶךְ כֵּן

 22:8 And the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט, 3092 [There is] yet x5750 one 259 man, 376 Mîȼäyhû מִיכָיהוּ 4321 the son 1121 of Yimlà יִמלָה, 3229 by x4480 x854 whom we may enquire 1875 z8800 of x853 Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 but I x589 hate 8130 z8804 him; for x3588 he doth not x3808 prophesy 5012 z8691 good 2896 concerning x5921 me, but x3588 x518 evil. 7451 And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 said, 559 z8799 Let not x408 the king 4428 say 559 z8799 so. x3651

וּמֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל וִיהוֹשָׁפָט מֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה יֹשְׁבִים אִישׁ עַל־כִּסְאוֹ מְלֻבָּשִׁים בְּגָדִים בְּגֹרֶן פֶּתַח שַׁעַר שֹׁמְרוֹן וְכָל־הַנְּבִיאִים מִתְנַבְּאִים לִפְנֵיהֶם

 22:10 ûmelekh' yis'räël wiyhôshäfäţ melekh'-y'hûdäh yosh'viym iysh al-Kiš'ô m'luBäshiym B'gädiym B'goren Petach shaar shom'rôn w'khäl-haN'viyiym mit'naB'iym lif'nëyhem

 22:10 And the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 and Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט 3092 the king 4428 of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה 3063 sat 3427 z8802 each 376 on x5921 his throne, 3678 having put on 3847 z8794 their robes, 899 in a void place 1637 in the entrance 6607 of the gate 8179 of Šömrôn שֹׁמרוֹן; 8111 and all x3605 the prophets 5030 prophesied 5012 z8693 before 6440 them.

וַיַּעַשׂ לוֹ צִדְקִיָּה בֶן־כְּנַעֲנָה קַרְנֵי בַרְזֶל וַיֹּאמֶר כֹּה־אָמַר יְהוָה בְּאֵלֶּה תְּנַגַּח אֶת־אֲרָם עַד־כַּלֹּתָם

 22:12 And all x3605 the prophets 5030 prophesied 5012 z8737 so, x3651 saying, 559 z8800 Go up 5927 z8798 to Rämôŧ Gil`äđ רָמוֹת־גִּלעָד, 7433 y1568 and prosper: 6743 z8685 for Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 shall deliver 5414 z8804 [it] into the king's 4428 hand. 3027

 22:13 And the messenger 4397 that x834 was gone 1980 z8804 to call 7121 z8800 Mîȼäyhû מִיכָיהוּ 4321 spake 1696 z8765 unto x413 him, saying, 559 z8800 Behold x2009 now, x4994 the words 1697 of the prophets 5030 [declare] good 2896 unto x413 the king 4428 with one 259 mouth: 6310 let thy word, 1697 I pray thee, x4994 be x1961 like the word 1697 of one 259 of them, x4480 and speak 1696 z8765 [that which is] good. 2896

וַיֹּאמֶר מִיכָיְהוּ חַי־יְהוָה כִּי אֶת־אֲשֶׁר יֹאמַר יְהוָה אֵלַי אֹתוֹ אֲדַבֵּר

 22:14 And Mîȼäyhû מִיכָיהוּ 4321 said, 559 z8799 [As] Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 liveth, 2416 what x834 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 saith 559 z8799 unto x413 me, that will I speak. 1696 z8762

וַיָּבוֹא אֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְ וַיֹּאמֶר הַמֶּלֶךְ אֵלָיו מִיכָיְהוּ הֲנֵלֵךְ אֶל־רָמֹת גִּלְעָד לַמִּלְחָמָה אִם־נֶחְדָּל וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו עֲלֵה וְהַצְלַח וְנָתַן יְהוָה בְּיַד הַמֶּלֶךְ

 22:15 ¶ So he came 935 z8799 to x413 the king. 4428 And the king 4428 said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, Mîȼäyhû מִיכָיהוּ, 4321 shall we go y3212 z8799 x1980 against x413 Rämôŧ Gil`äđ רָמוֹת־גִּלעָד 7433 y1568 to battle, 4421 or x518 shall we forbear? 2308 z8799 And he answered 559 z8799 x413 him, Go, 5927 z8798 and prosper: 6743 z8685 for Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 shall deliver 5414 z8804 [it] into the hand 3027 of the king. 4428

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הַמֶּלֶךְ עַד־כַּמֶּה פְעָמִים אֲנִי מַשְׁבִּעֶךָ אֲשֶׁר לֹא־תְדַבֵּר אֵלַי רַק־אֱמֶת בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה

 22:16 And the king 4428 said 559 z8799 unto x413 him, How x5704 many x4100 times 6471 shall I x589 adjure 7650 z8688 thee that x834 thou tell 1696 z8762 x413 me nothing x3808 but x7535 [that which is] true 571 in the name 8034 of Yähwè יָהוֶה? 3068

וַיֹּאמֶר רָאִיתִי אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל נְפֹצִים אֶל־הֶהָרִים כַּצֹּאן אֲשֶׁר אֵין־לָהֶם רֹעֶה וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה לֹא־אֲדֹנִים לָאֵלֶּה יָשׁוּבוּ אִישׁ־לְבֵיתוֹ בְּשָׁלוֹם

 22:17 waYomer räiytiy et-Käl-yis'räël n'fotziym el-hehäriym KaTZon ásher ëyn-lähem roeh waYomer y'hwäh lo-ádoniym läëLeh yäshûvû iysh-l'vëytô B'shälôm

 22:17 And he said, 559 z8799 I saw 7200 z8804 x853 all x3605 Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 scattered 6327 z8737 upon x413 the hills, 2022 as sheep 6629 that x834 have not x369 a shepherd: 7462 z8802 and Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 said, 559 z8799 These x428 have no x3808 ´áđôn אֲדוֹן: 113 let them return 7725 z8799 every man 376 to his house 1004 in peace. 7965

 22:18 And the king 4428 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said 559 z8799 unto x413 Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט, 3092 Did I not x3808 tell 559 z8804 x413 thee that he would prophesy 5012 z8691 no x3808 good 2896 concerning x5921 me, but x3588 x518 evil? 7451

וַיֹּאמֶר לָכֵן שְׁמַע דְּבַר־יְהוָה רָאִיתִי אֶת־יְהוָה יֹשֵׁב עַל־כִּסְאוֹ וְכָל־צְבָא הַשָּׁמַיִם עֹמֵד עָלָיו מִימִינוֹ וּמִשְּׂמֹאלוֹ

 22:19 waYomer läkhën sh'ma D'var-y'hwäh räiytiy et-y'hwäh yoshëv al-Kiš'ô w'khäl-tz'vä haSHämayim omëd äläyw miymiynô ûmiS'molô

 22:19 And he said, 559 z8799 Hear 8085 z8798 thou therefore x3651 the word 1697 of Yähwè יָהוֶה: 3068 I saw 7200 z8804 x853 Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 sitting 3427 z8802 on x5921 his throne, 3678 and all x3605 the host 6635 of heaven 8064 standing 5975 z8802 by x5921 him on his right hand 3225 x4480 and on his left. 8040 x4480

וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה מִי יְפַתֶּה אֶת־אַחְאָב וְיַעַל וְיִפֹּל בְּרָמֹת גִּלְעָד וַיֹּאמֶר זֶה בְּכֹה וְזֶה אֹמֵר בְּכֹה

 22:20 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 said, 559 z8799 Who x4310 shall persuade 6601 z8762 x853 ´Aç´äv אַחאָב, 256 that he may go up 5927 z8799 and fall 5307 z8799 at Rämôŧ Gil`äđ רָמוֹת־גִּלעָד? 7433 y1568 And one x2088 said 559 z8799 on this manner, 3541 and another x2088 said 559 z8802 on that manner. 3541

וַיֵּצֵא הָרוּחַ וַיַּעֲמֹד לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וַיֹּאמֶר אֲנִי אֲפַתֶּנּוּ וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֵלָיו בַּמָּה

וַיֹּאמֶר אֵצֵא וְהָיִיתִי רוּחַ שֶׁקֶר בְּפִי כָּל־נְבִיאָיו וַיֹּאמֶר תְּפַתֶּה וְגַם־תּוּכָל צֵא וַעֲשֵׂה־כֵן

וְעַתָּה הִנֵּה נָתַן יְהוָה רוּחַ שֶׁקֶר בְּפִי כָּל־נְבִיאֶיךָ אֵלֶּה וַיהוָה דִּבֶּר עָלֶיךָ רָעָה

וַיִּגַּשׁ צִדְקִיָּהוּ בֶן־כְּנַעֲנָה וַיַּכֶּה אֶת־מִיכָיְהוּ עַל־הַלֶּחִי וַיֹּאמֶר אֵי־זֶה עָבַר רוּחַ־יְהוָה מֵאִתִּי לְדַבֵּר אוֹתָךְ

וַיֹּאמֶר מֶלֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵל קַח אֶת־מִיכָיְהוּ וַהֲשִׁיבֵהוּ אֶל־אָמֹן שַׂר־הָעִיר וְאֶל־יוֹאָשׁ בֶּן־הַמֶּלֶךְ
