וַיֵּרָא יְהוָה אֶל־שְׁלֹמֹה שֵׁנִית כַּאֲשֶׁר נִרְאָה אֵלָיו בְּגִבְעוֹן

וְאַתָּה אִם־תֵּלֵךְ לְפָנַי כַּאֲשֶׁר הָלַךְ דָּוִד אָבִיךָ בְּתָם־לֵבָב וּבְיֹשֶׁר לַעֲשׂוֹת כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוִּיתִיךָ חֻקַּי וּמִשְׁפָּטַי תִּשְׁמֹר

וְהַבַּיִת הַזֶּה יִהְיֶה עֶלְיוֹן כָּל־עֹבֵר עָלָיו יִשֹּׁם וְשָׁרָק וְאָמְרוּ עַל־מֶה עָשָׂה יְהוָה כָּכָה לָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת וְלַבַּיִת הַזֶּה

 9:8 And at this x2088 house, 1004 [which] is x1961 high, 5945 every one x3605 that passeth 5674 z8802 by x5921 it shall be astonished, 8074 z8799 and shall hiss; 8319 z8804 and they shall say, 559 z8804 Why x4100 hath Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 done 6213 z8804 thus x3602 unto this x2063 land, 776 and to this x2088 house? 1004

וְאָמְרוּ עַל אֲשֶׁר עָזְבוּ אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר הוֹצִיא אֶת־אֲבֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וַיַּחֲזִקוּ בֵּאלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים *וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ [וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ] לָהֶם וַיַּעַבְדֻם עַל־כֵּן הֵבִיא יְהוָה עֲלֵיהֶם אֵת כָּל־הָרָעָה הַזֹּאת פ

 9:9 w'äm'rû al ásher äz'vû et-y'hwäh élohëyhem ásher hôtziy et-ávotäm mëeretz mitz'rayim waYacháziqû Bëlohiym áchëriym *waYish'Tachû [waYish'Tacháwû] lähem waYaav'dum al-Kën hëviy y'hwäh álëyhem ët Käl-härääh haZot f

 9:10 ¶ And it came to pass x1961 at the end 7097 x4480 of twenty 6242 years, 8141 when x834 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 had built 1129 z8804 x853 the two 8147 houses, 1004 x853 the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 and the king's 4428 house, 1004

חִירָם מֶלֶךְ־צֹר נִשָּׂא אֶת־שְׁלֹמֹה בַּעֲצֵי אֲרָזִים וּבַעֲצֵי בְרוֹשִׁים וּבַזָּהָב לְכָל־חֶפְצוֹ אָז יִתֵּן הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה לְחִירָם עֶשְׂרִים עִיר בְּאֶרֶץ הַגָּלִיל

 9:11 chiyräm melekh'-tzor niSä et-sh'lomoh Baátzëy áräziym ûvaátzëy v'rôshiym ûvaZähäv l'khäl-chef'tzô äz yiTën haMelekh' sh'lomoh l'chiyräm es'riym iyr B'eretz haGäliyl

 9:11 ([Now] Çîräm חִירָם 2438 the king 4428 of Xôr צוֹר 6865 had furnished 5375 z8765 x853 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 with cedar 730 trees 6086 and fir 1265 trees, 6086 and with gold, 2091 according to all x3605 his desire,) 2656 that then 227 king 4428 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 gave 5414 z8799 Çîräm חִירָם 2438 twenty 6242 cities 5892 in the land 776 of Gälîlà גָּלִילָה. 1551

וַיֵּצֵא חִירָם מִצֹּר לִרְאוֹת אֶת־הֶעָרִים אֲשֶׁר נָתַן־לוֹ שְׁלֹמֹה וְלֹא יָשְׁרוּ בְּעֵינָיו

וַיֹּאמֶר מָה הֶעָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר־נָתַתָּה לִּי אָחִי וַיִּקְרָא לָהֶם אֶרֶץ כָּבוּל עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה פ

וַיִּשְׁלַח חִירָם לַמֶּלֶךְ מֵאָה וְעֶשְׂרִים כִּכַּר זָהָב

 9:14 And Çîräm חִירָם 2438 sent 7971 z8799 to the king 4428 sixscore 3967 6242 talents 3603 of gold. 2091

וְזֶה דְבַר־הַמַּס אֲשֶׁר־הֶעֱלָה הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה לִבְנוֹת אֶת־בֵּית יְהוָה וְאֶת־בֵּיתוֹ וְאֶת־הַמִּלּוֹא וְאֵת חוֹמַת יְרוּשָׁלִָם וְאֶת־חָצֹר וְאֶת־מְגִדּוֹ וְאֶת־גָּזֶר

 9:15 ¶ And this x2088 [is] the reason 1697 of the levy 4522 which x834 king 4428 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 raised; 5927 z8689 for to build 1129 z8800 x853 the house 1004 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 and his own house, 1004 and Millô´ מִלּוֹא, 4407 and the wall 2346 of Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם, 3389 and Çäxôr חָצוֹר, 2674 and Mæqiddô מְגִדּוֹ, 4023 and Gezer גֶּזֶר. 1507

פַּרְעֹה מֶלֶךְ־מִצְרַיִם עָלָה וַיִּלְכֹּד אֶת־גֶּזֶר וַיִּשְׂרְפָהּ בָּאֵשׁ וְאֶת־הַכְּנַעֲנִי הַיֹּשֵׁב בָּעִיר הָרָג וַיִּתְּנָהּ שִׁלֻּחִים לְבִתּוֹ אֵשֶׁת שְׁלֹמֹה

 9:16 Par'oh melekh'-mitz'rayim äläh waYil'Kod et-Gezer waYis'r'fäH Bäësh w'et-haK'naániy haYoshëv Bäiyr häräg waYiT'näH shiLuchiym l'viTô ëshet sh'lomoh

 9:16 [For] Par`ò פַּרעֹה 6547 king 4428 of Mixrayim מִצרַיִם 4714 had gone up, 5927 z8804 and taken 3920 z8799 x853 Gezer גֶּזֶר, 1507 and burnt 8313 z8799 it with fire, 784 and slain 2026 z8804 the Cæna`ánîm כְּנַעֲנִים 3669 that dwelt 3427 z8802 in the city, 5892 and given 5414 z8799 it [for] a present 7964 unto his daughter, 1323 Šælömò's שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 wife. 802

 9:17 And Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 built 1129 z8799 x853 Gezer גֶּזֶר, 1507 and Bêŧ Çôrôn בֵּית־חוֹרוֹן 1032 the nether, 8481

וְאֶת־בַּעֲלָת וְאֶת־*תָּמָר [תַּדְמֹר] בַּמִּדְבָּר בָּאָרֶץ

 9:18 w'et-Baálät w'et-*Tämär [Tad'mor] BaMid'Bär Bääretz

 9:18 And Ba`áläŧ בַּעֲלָת, 1191 and Tađmör תַּדמֹר 8412 in the wilderness, 4057 in the land, 776

וְאֵת כָּל־עָרֵי הַמִּסְכְּנוֹת אֲשֶׁר הָיוּ לִשְׁלֹמֹה וְאֵת עָרֵי הָרֶכֶב וְאֵת עָרֵי הַפָּרָשִׁים וְאֵת חֵשֶׁק שְׁלֹמֹה אֲשֶׁר חָשַׁק לִבְנוֹת בִּירוּשָׁלִַם וּבַלְּבָנוֹן וּבְכֹל אֶרֶץ מֶמְשַׁלְתּוֹ

 9:19 And all x3605 the cities 5892 of store 4543 that x834 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 had, x1961 and cities 5892 for his chariots, 7393 and cities 5892 for his horsemen, 6571 and that y2837 which x834 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 desired 2836 z8804 to build 1129 z8800 in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם, 3389 and in Lævänôn לְבָנוֹן, 3844 and in all x3605 the land 776 of his dominion. 4475

כָּל־הָעָם הַנּוֹתָר מִן־הָאֱמֹרִי הַחִתִּי הַפְּרִזִּי הַחִוִּי וְהַיְבוּסִי אֲשֶׁר לֹא־מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הֵמָּה

 9:20 Käl-hääm haNôtär min-häémoriy hachiTiy haP'riZiy hachiûiy w'hay'vûšiy ásher lo-miB'nëy yis'räël hëMäh

 9:20 [And] all x3605 the people 5971 [that were] left 3498 z8737 of x4480 the ´Émörîm אֱמֹרִים, 567 Çittîm חִתִּים, 2850 Pærizzîm פְּרִזִּים, 6522 Çiwwîm חִוִּים, 2340 and Yævûsîm יְבוּסִים, 2983 which x834 [were] not x3808 of the children 1121 x4480 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל, 3478

בְּנֵיהֶם אֲשֶׁר נֹתְרוּ אַחֲרֵיהֶם בָּאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָכְלוּ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְהַחֲרִימָם וַיַּעֲלֵם שְׁלֹמֹה לְמַס־עֹבֵד עַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה

 9:21 B'nëyhem ásher not'rû achárëyhem Bääretz ásher lo-yäkh'lû B'nëy yis'räël l'hacháriymäm waYaálëm sh'lomoh l'maš-ovëd ad haYôm haZeh

 9:21 Their children 1121 that x834 were left 3498 z8738 after 310 them in the land, 776 whom x834 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 also were not x3808 able 3201 z8804 utterly to destroy, 2763 z8687 upon those did Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 levy 5927 z8686 a tribute y4522 of bondservice 5647 z8802 x4522 unto x5704 this x2088 day. 3117

וּמִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא־נָתַן שְׁלֹמֹה עָבֶד כִּי־הֵם אַנְשֵׁי הַמִּלְחָמָה וַעֲבָדָיו וְשָׂרָיו וְשָׁלִשָׁיו וְשָׂרֵי רִכְבּוֹ וּפָרָשָׁיו ס

 9:22 But of the children 1121 x4480 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 did Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 make 5414 z8804 no x3808 bondmen: 5650 but x3588 they x1992 [were] men y582 x376 of war, 4421 and his servants, 5650 and his princes, 8269 and his captains, 7991 and rulers 8269 of his chariots, 7393 and his horsemen. 6571

אֵלֶּה שָׂרֵי הַנִּצָּבִים אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַמְּלָאכָה לִשְׁלֹמֹה חֲמִשִּׁים וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאוֹת הָרֹדִים בָּעָם הָעֹשִׂים בַּמְּלָאכָה

וְהֶעֱלָה שְׁלֹמֹה שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה עֹלוֹת וּשְׁלָמִים עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ אֲשֶׁר בָּנָה לַיהוָה וְהַקְטֵיר אִתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר לִפְנֵי יְהוָה וְשִׁלַּם אֶת־הַבָּיִת

וַיִּשְׁלַח חִירָם בָּאֳנִי אֶת־עֲבָדָיו אַנְשֵׁי אֳנִיּוֹת יֹדְעֵי הַיָּם עִם עַבְדֵי שְׁלֹמֹה
