וַיָּבֹא אֲדֹנִיָּהוּ בֶן־חַגֵּית אֶל־בַּת־שֶׁבַע אֵם־שְׁלֹמֹה וַתֹּאמֶר הֲשָׁלוֹם בֹּאֶךָ וַיֹּאמֶר שָׁלוֹם

 2:13 ¶ And ´Áđöniyyà אֲדֹנִיָּה 138 the son 1121 of Çaggîŧ חַגִּית 2294 came 935 z8799 to x413 Baŧ Ševa` בַּת־שֶׁבַע 1339 the mother 517 of Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה. 8010 And she said, 559 z8799 Comest 935 z8800 thou peaceably? 7965 And he said, 559 z8799 Peaceably. 7965

וַיֹּאמֶר דָּבָר לִי אֵלָיִךְ וַתֹּאמֶר דַּבֵּר

וַתֹּאמֶר יֻתַּן אֶת־אֲבִישַׁג הַשֻּׁנַמִּית לַאֲדֹנִיָּהוּ אָחִיךָ לְאִשָּׁה

 2:21 waTomer yuTan et-áviyshag haSHunaMiyt laádoniYähû ächiykhä l'iSHäh

 2:21 And she said, 559 z8799 Let x853 ´Ávîšaq אֲבִישַׁג 49 the Šûnammîŧ שׁוּנַמִּית 7767 be given 5414 z8714 to ´Áđöniyyà אֲדֹנִיָּה 138 thy brother 251 to wife. 802

 2:22 And king 4428 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 answered 6030 z8799 and said 559 z8799 unto his mother, 517 And why x4100 dost thou x859 ask 7592 z8802 x853 ´Ávîšaq אֲבִישַׁג 49 the Šûnammîŧ שׁוּנַמִּית 7767 for ´Áđöniyyà אֲדֹנִיָּה? 138 ask 7592 z8798 for him x853 the kingdom 4410 also; for x3588 he x1931 [is] mine x4480 elder 1419 brother; 251 even for him, and for ´Evyäŧär אֶביָתָר 54 the priest, 3548 and for Yô´äv יוֹאָב 3097 the son 1121 of Xærûyà צְרוּיָה. 6870

 2:23 Then king 4428 Šælömò שְׁלֹמֹה 8010 sware 7650 z8735 by Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 saying, 559 z8800 ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים 430 do 6213 z8799 so x3541 to me, and more x3254 also, y3254 z8686 x3541 if x3588 ´Áđöniyyà אֲדֹנִיָּה 138 have not spoken 1696 z8765 x853 this x2088 word 1697 against his own life. 5315
