וְזֶה הַדָּבָר אֲשֶׁר תַּעֲשׂוּ כָּל־זָכָר וְכָל־אִשָּׁה יֹדַעַת מִשְׁכַּב־זָכָר תַּחֲרִימוּ

וַיִּמְצְאוּ מִיּוֹשְׁבֵי יָבֵישׁ גִּלְעָד אַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת נַעֲרָה בְתוּלָה אֲשֶׁר לֹא־יָדְעָה אִישׁ לְמִשְׁכַּב זָכָר וַיָּבִיאוּ אוֹתָם אֶל־הַמַּחֲנֶה שִׁלֹה אֲשֶׁר בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן ס

 21:12 waYim'tz'û miYôsh'vëy yävëysh Gil'äd ar'Ba mëôt naáräh v'tûläh ásher lo-yäd'äh iysh l'mish'Kav zäkhär waYäviyû ôtäm el-haMacháneh shiloh ásher B'eretz K'näan š

וַיָּשָׁב בִּנְיָמִן בָּעֵת הַהִיא וַיִּתְּנוּ לָהֶם הַנָּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר חִיּוּ מִנְּשֵׁי יָבֵשׁ גִּלְעָד וְלֹא־מָצְאוּ לָהֶם כֵּן

 21:14 And Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 came again 7725 z8799 at that x1931 time; 6256 and they gave 5414 z8799 them wives 802 which x834 they had saved alive 2421 z8765 of the women 802 x4480 of Yävêš Gil`äđ יָבֵישׁ־גִּלעָד: 3003 1568 and yet so x3651 they sufficed 4672 z8804 them not. x3808

וְהָעָם נִחָם לְבִנְיָמִן כִּי־עָשָׂה יְהוָה פֶּרֶץ בְּשִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל

וַיֹּאמְרוּ זִקְנֵי הָעֵדָה מַה־נַּעֲשֶׂה לַנּוֹתָרִים לְנָשִׁים כִּי־נִשְׁמְדָה מִבִּנְיָמִן אִשָּׁה

 21:16 waYom'rû ziq'nëy häëdäh mah-Naáseh laNôtäriym l'näshiym Kiy-nish'm'däh miBin'yämin iSHäh

 21:16 ¶ Then the elders 2205 of the congregation 5712 said, 559 z8799 How x4100 shall we do 6213 z8799 for wives 802 for them that remain, 3498 z8737 seeing x3588 the women 802 are destroyed 8045 z8738 out of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין? 1144 x4480

וַיֹּאמְרוּ יְרֻשַּׁת פְּלֵיטָה לְבִנְיָמִן וְלֹא־יִמָּחֶה שֵׁבֶט מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל

 21:17 waYom'rû y'ruSHat P'lëyţäh l'vin'yämin w'lo-yiMächeh shëveţ miYis'räël

 21:17 And they said, 559 z8799 [There must be] an inheritance 3425 for them that be escaped 6413 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין, 1144 that a tribe 7626 be not x3808 destroyed 4229 z8735 out of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל. 3478 x4480

וַאֲנַחְנוּ לֹא נוּכַל לָתֵת־לָהֶם נָשִׁים מִבְּנוֹתֵינוּ כִּי־נִשְׁבְּעוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל לֵאמֹר אָרוּר נֹתֵן אִשָּׁה לְבִנְיָמִן ס

 21:18 Howbeit we x587 may 3201 z8799 not x3808 give 5414 z8800 them wives 802 of our daughters: 1323 x4480 for x3588 the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 have sworn, 7650 z8738 saying, 559 z8800 Cursed 779 z8803 [be] he that giveth 5414 z8802 a wife 802 to Binyämîn בִּניָמִין. 1144

וַיֹּאמְרוּ הִנֵּה חַג־יְהוָה בְּשִׁלוֹ מִיָּמִים יָמִימָה אֲשֶׁר מִצְּפוֹנָה לְבֵית־אֵל מִזְרְחָה הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ לִמְסִלָּה הָעֹלָה מִבֵּית־אֵל שְׁכֶמָה וּמִנֶּגֶב לִלְבוֹנָה

 21:19 Then they said, 559 z8799 Behold, x2009 [there is] a feast 2282 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 in Šîlò שִׁילֹה 7887 yearly 3117 x4480 [in a place] which x834 [is] on the north side 6828 x4480 of Bêŧ ´Ël בֵּית־אֵל, 1008 x4480 on the east side 4217 8121 of the highway 4546 that goeth up 5927 z8802 from Bêŧ ´Ël בֵּית־אֵל 1008 x4480 to Šæȼem שְׁכֶם, 7927 and on the south 5045 x4480 of Lævônà לְבוֹנָה. 3829

*וַיְצַו [וַיְצַוּוּ] אֶת־בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן לֵאמֹר לְכוּ וַאֲרַבְתֶּם בַּכְּרָמִים

וּרְאִיתֶם וְהִנֵּה אִם־יֵצְאוּ בְנוֹת־שִׁילוֹ לָחוּל בַּמְּחֹלוֹת וִיצָאתֶם מִן־הַכְּרָמִים וַחֲטַפְתֶּם לָכֶם אִישׁ אִשְׁתּוֹ מִבְּנוֹת שִׁילוֹ וַהֲלַכְתֶּם אֶרֶץ בִּנְיָמִן

 21:21 And see, 7200 z8804 and, behold, x2009 if x518 the daughters 1323 of Šîlò שִׁילֹה 7887 come out 3318 z8799 to dance 2342 z8800 in dances, 4246 then come ye out 3318 z8804 of x4480 the vineyards, 3754 and catch 2414 z8804 you every man 376 his wife 802 of the daughters 1323 x4480 of Šîlò שִׁילֹה, 7887 and go 1980 z8804 to the land 776 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין. 1144

וְהָיָה כִּי־יָבֹאוּ אֲבוֹתָם אוֹ אֲחֵיהֶם *לָרוֹב [לָרִיב] אֵלֵינוּ וְאָמַרְנוּ אֲלֵיהֶם חָנּוּנוּ אוֹתָם כִּי לֹא לָקַחְנוּ אִישׁ אִשְׁתּוֹ בַּמִּלְחָמָה כִּי לֹא אַתֶּם נְתַתֶּם לָהֶם כָּעֵת תֶּאְשָׁמוּ ס

 21:22 And it shall be, x1961 when x3588 their fathers 1 or x176 their brethren 251 come 935 z8799 unto x413 us to complain, 7378 z8800 that we will say 559 z8804 unto x413 them, Be favourable 2603 z8798 unto them for our sakes: because x3588 we reserved 3947 z8804 not x3808 to each man 376 his wife 802 in the war: 4421 for x3588 ye x859 did not x3808 give 5414 z8804 unto them at this time, 6256 [that] ye should be guilty. 816 z8799

וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵן בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן וַיִּשְׂאוּ נָשִׁים לְמִסְפָּרָם מִן־הַמְּחֹלְלוֹת אֲשֶׁר גָּזָלוּ וַיֵּלְכוּ וַיָּשׁוּבוּ אֶל־נַחֲלָתָם וַיִּבְנוּ אֶת־הֶעָרִים וַיֵּשְׁבוּ בָּהֶם

 21:23 waYaásû-khën B'nëy vin'yämin waYis'û näshiym l'miš'Päräm min-haM'chol'lôt ásher Gäzälû waYël'khû waYäshûvû el-nachálätäm waYiv'nû et-heäriym waYësh'vû Bähem

 21:23 And the children 1121 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 did x6213 so, y6213 z8799 x3651 and took 5375 z8799 [them] wives, 802 according to their number, 4557 of x4480 them that danced, 2342 z8789 whom x834 they caught: 1497 z8804 and they went y3212 z8799 x1980 and returned 7725 z8799 unto x413 their inheritance, 5159 and repaired 1129 z8799 x853 the cities, 5892 and dwelt 3427 z8799 in them.

וַיִּתְהַלְּכוּ מִשָּׁם בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל בָּעֵת הַהִיא אִישׁ לְשִׁבְטוֹ וּלְמִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ וַיֵּצְאוּ מִשָּׁם אִישׁ לְנַחֲלָתוֹ

 21:24 waYit'haL'khû miSHäm B'nëy-yis'räël Bäët hahiy iysh l'shiv'ţô ûl'mish'Pach'Tô waYëtz'û miSHäm iysh l'nachálätô

 21:24 And the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 departed 1980 z8691 thence x4480 x8033 at that x1931 time, 6256 every man 376 to his tribe 7626 and to his family, 4940 and they went out 3318 z8799 from thence x4480 x8033 every man 376 to his inheritance. 5159

בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם אֵין מֶלֶךְ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אִישׁ הַיָּשָׁר בְּעֵינָיו יַעֲשֶׂה

 21:25 BaYämiym hähëm ëyn melekh' B'yis'räël iysh haYäshär B'ëynäyw yaáseh
