וְאַתֶּם לֹא־תִכְרְתוּ בְרִית לְיוֹשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת מִזְבְּחוֹתֵיהֶם תִּתֹּצוּן וְלֹא־שְׁמַעְתֶּם בְּקֹלִי מַה־זֹּאת עֲשִׂיתֶם

 2:2 w'aTem lo-tikh'r'tû v'riyt l'yôsh'vëy hääretz haZot miz'B'chôtëyhem TiTotzûn w'lo-sh'ma'Tem B'qoliy mah-Zot ásiytem

וְגַם אָמַרְתִּי לֹא־אֲגָרֵשׁ אוֹתָם מִפְּנֵיכֶם וְהָיוּ לָכֶם לְצִדִּים וֵאלֹהֵיהֶם יִהְיוּ לָכֶם לְמוֹקֵשׁ

 2:3 w'gam ämar'Tiy lo-ágärësh ôtäm miP'nëykhem w'häyû läkhem l'tziDiym wëlohëyhem yih'yû läkhem l'môqësh

וַיִּקְבְּרוּ אוֹתוֹ בִּגְבוּל נַחֲלָתוֹ בְּתִמְנַת־חֶרֶס בְּהַר אֶפְרָיִם מִצְּפוֹן לְהַר־גָּעַשׁ

 2:11 ¶ And the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 did 6213 z8799 x853 evil 7451 in the sight 5869 of Yähwè יָהוֶה, 3068 and served 5647 z8799 x853 Bæ`älîm בְּעָלִים: 1168

וַיַּעַזְבוּ אֶת־יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אֲבוֹתָם הַמּוֹצִיא אוֹתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם וַיֵּלְכוּ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים מֵאֱלֹהֵי הָעַמִּים אֲשֶׁר סְבִיבוֹתֵיהֶם וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לָהֶם וַיַּכְעִסוּ אֶת־יְהוָה

בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר יָצְאוּ יַד־יְהוָה הָיְתָה־בָּם לְרָעָה כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבֶּר יְהוָה וְכַאֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע יְהוָה לָהֶם וַיֵּצֶר לָהֶם מְאֹד

וַיָּקֶם יְהוָה שֹׁפְטִים וַיּוֹשִׁיעוּם מִיַּד שֹׁסֵיהֶם

וְגַם אֶל־שֹׁפְטֵיהֶם לֹא שָׁמֵעוּ כִּי זָנוּ אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לָהֶם סָרוּ מַהֵר מִן־הַדֶּרֶךְ אֲשֶׁר הָלְכוּ אֲבוֹתָם לִשְׁמֹעַ מִצְוֹת־יְהוָה לֹא־עָשׂוּ כֵן

 2:17 w'gam el-shof'ţëyhem lo shämëû Kiy zänû achárëy élohiym áchëriym waYish'Tacháwû lähem šärû mahër min-haDerekh' ásher häl'khû ávôtäm lish'moª mitz'wot-y'hwäh lo-äsû khën

 2:17 And yet x1571 they would not x3808 hearken 8085 z8804 unto x413 their judges, 8199 z8802 but x3588 they went a whoring 2181 z8804 after 310 other 312 ´élöhîm אֱלֹהִים, 430 and bowed y7812 z8691 themselves x7812 unto them: they turned 5493 z8804 quickly 4118 out of x4480 the way 1870 which x834 their fathers 1 walked x1980 in, y1980 z8804 obeying 8085 z8800 the commandments 4687 of Yähwè יָהוֶה; 3068 [but] they did 6213 z8804 not x3808 so. x3651

וְכִי־הֵקִים יְהוָה לָהֶם שֹׁפְטִים וְהָיָה יְהוָה עִם־הַשֹּׁפֵט וְהוֹשִׁיעָם מִיַּד אֹיְבֵיהֶם כֹּל יְמֵי הַשּׁוֹפֵט כִּי־יִנָּחֵם יְהוָה מִנַּאֲקָתָם מִפְּנֵי לֹחֲצֵיהֶם וְדֹחֲקֵיהֶם

וְהָיָה בְּמוֹת הַשּׁוֹפֵט יָשֻׁבוּ וְהִשְׁחִיתוּ מֵאֲבוֹתָם לָלֶכֶת אַחֲרֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲחֵרִים לְעָבְדָם וּלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת לָהֶם לֹא הִפִּילוּ מִמַּעַלְלֵיהֶם וּמִדַּרְכָּם הַקָּשָׁה

 2:20 ¶ And the anger 639 of Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 was hot 2734 z8799 against Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל; 3478 and he said, 559 z8799 Because x3282 that x834 this x2088 people 1471 hath transgressed 5674 z8804 x853 my covenant 1285 which x834 I commanded 6680 z8765 x853 their fathers, 1 and have not x3808 hearkened 8085 z8804 unto my voice; 6963

גַּם־אֲנִי לֹא אוֹסִיף לְהוֹרִישׁ אִישׁ מִפְּנֵיהֶם מִן־הַגּוֹיִם אֲשֶׁר־עָזַב יְהוֹשֻׁעַ וַיָּמֹת
