וּפִינְחָס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן־אַהֲרֹן עֹמֵד לְפָנָיו בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם לֵאמֹר הַאוֹסִף עוֹד לָצֵאת לַמִּלְחָמָה עִם־בְּנֵי־בִנְיָמִן אָחִי אִם־אֶחְדָּל וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה עֲלוּ כִּי מָחָר אֶתְּנֶנּוּ בְיָדֶךָ

 20:28 And Pînçäs פִּינחָס, 6372 the son 1121 of ´El`äzär אֶלעָזָר, 499 the son 1121 of ´Ahárön אַהֲרֹן, 175 stood 5975 z8802 before 6440 it in those x1992 days,) 3117 saying, 559 z8800 Shall I yet x5750 again 3254 z8686 go out 3318 z8800 to battle 4421 against x5973 the children 1121 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 my brother, 251 or x518 shall I cease? 2308 z8799 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 said, 559 z8799 Go up; 5927 z8798 for x3588 to morrow 4279 I will deliver 5414 z8799 them into thine hand. 3027

וַיַּעֲלוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי וַיַּעַרְכוּ אֶל־הַגִּבְעָה כְּפַעַם בְּפָעַם

 20:30 And the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 went up 5927 z8799 against x413 the children 1121 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 on the third 7992 day, 3117 and put themselves in array 6186 z8799 against x413 Giv`à גִּבעָה, 1390 as at other times. 6471

וַיֹּאמְרוּ בְּנֵי בִנְיָמִן נִגָּפִים הֵם לְפָנֵינוּ כְּבָרִאשֹׁנָה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אָמְרוּ נָנוּסָה וּנְתַקְּנֻהוּ מִן־הָעִיר אֶל־הַמְסִלּוֹת

 20:32 waYom'rû B'nëy vin'yämin niGäfiym hëm l'fänëynû K'värishonäh ûv'nëy yis'räël äm'rû nänûšäh ûn'taQ'nuhû min-häiyr el-ham'šiLôt

 20:32 And the children 1121 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 said, 559 z8799 They x1992 [are] smitten down 5062 z8737 before 6440 us, as at the first. 7223 But the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 said, 559 z8804 Let us flee, 5127 z8799 and draw 5423 z8804 them from x4480 the city 5892 unto x413 the highways. 4546

וְכֹל אִישׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל קָמוּ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ וַיַּעַרְכוּ בְּבַעַל תָּמָר וְאֹרֵב יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵגִיחַ מִמְּקֹמוֹ מִמַּעֲרֵה־גָבַע

 20:33 w'khol iysh yis'räël qämû miM'qômô waYaar'khû B'vaal Tämär w'orëv yis'räël mëgiyªch miM'qomô miMaárëh-gäva

 20:33 And all x3605 the men 376 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 rose up 6965 z8804 out of their place, 4725 x4480 and put themselves in array 6186 z8799 at Ba`al Tämär בַּעַל־תָּמָר: 1193 and the liers in wait 693 z8802 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 came forth 1518 z8688 out of their places, 4725 x4480 [even] out of the meadows 4629 x4480 of Giv`à גִּבעָה. y1387 x4480 x1390

וַיָּבֹאוּ מִנֶּגֶד לַגִּבְעָה עֲשֶׂרֶת אֲלָפִים אִישׁ בָּחוּר מִכָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהַמִּלְחָמָה כָּבֵדָה וְהֵם לֹא יָדְעוּ כִּי־נֹגַעַת עֲלֵיהֶם הָרָעָה פ

 20:34 waYävoû miNeged laGiv'äh áseret áläfiym iysh Bächûr miKäl-yis'räël w'haMil'chämäh Kävëdäh w'hëm lo yäd'û Kiy-nogaat álëyhem härääh f

וַיִּגֹּף יְהוָה אֶת־בִּנְיָמִן לִפְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּשְׁחִיתוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּבִנְיָמִן בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא עֶשְׂרִים וַחֲמִשָּׁה אֶלֶף וּמֵאָה אִישׁ כָּל־אֵלֶּה שֹׁלֵף חָרֶב

 20:35 waYiGof y'hwäh et-Bin'yämin lif'nëy yis'räël waYash'chiytû v'nëy yis'räël B'vin'yämin BaYôm hahû es'riym wachámiSHäh elef ûmëäh iysh Käl-ëLeh sholëf chärev

 20:35 And Yähwè יָהוֶה 3068 smote 5062 z8799 x853 Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 before 6440 Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל: 3478 and the children 1121 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 destroyed 7843 z8686 of the Benyæmînîm בֶּניְמִינִים y1145 x1144 that x1931 day 3117 twenty 6242 and five 2568 thousand 505 and an hundred 3967 men: 376 all x3605 these x428 drew 8025 z8802 the sword. 2719

 20:36 So the children 1121 of Binyämîn בִּניָמִין 1144 saw 7200 z8799 that x3588 they were smitten: 5062 z8738 for the men 376 of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל 3478 gave 5414 z8799 place 4725 to the Benyæmînîm בֶּניְמִינִים, y1145 x1144 because x3588 they trusted 982 z8804 unto x413 the liers in wait 693 z8802 which x834 they had set 7760 z8804 beside x413 Giv`à גִּבעָה. 1390

וְהָאֹרֵב הֵחִישׁוּ וַיִּפְשְׁטוּ אֶל־הַגִּבְעָה וַיִּמְשֹׁךְ הָאֹרֵב וַיַּךְ אֶת־כָּל־הָעִיר לְפִי־חָרֶב

 20:37 w'häorëv hëchiyshû waYif'sh'ţû el-haGiv'äh waYim'shokh' häorëv waYakh' et-Käl-häiyr l'fiy-chärev

 20:37 And the liers in wait 693 z8802 hasted, 2363 z8689 and rushed 6584 z8799 upon x413 Giv`à גִּבעָה; 1390 and the liers in wait 693 z8802 drew [themselves] along, 4900 z8799 and smote 5221 z8686 x853 all x3605 the city 5892 with the edge 6310 of the sword. 2719
