 31:1 ¶ Now when all° this° was finished,°° all° Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° that were present°° went out°° to the cities° of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° and brake°° the images° in pieces,°°° and cut down°° the groves,° and threw down°°° the high places° and the altars° out of all°° Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה° and Binyämîn בִּניָמִין,° in ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם° also and Mænaššè מְנַשֶּׁה,° until° they had utterly destroyed°° them all. Then all° the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° returned,°° every man° to his possession,° into their own cities.°

 31:1 ¶ Now when all this was finished, all Yisrael that were present went out to the cities of Yehudah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Yehudah and Binyamin, in Efrayim also and Menashsheh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Yisrael returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

 31:2 ¶ And Çizkiyyà חִזקִיָּה° appointed°°° the courses° of the priests° and the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם° after° their courses,° every man° according° to° his service,° the priests° and Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם° for burnt offerings° and for peace offerings,° to minister,°° and to give thanks,°° and to praise°° in the gates° of the tents° of Yähwè יָהוֶה.°

 31:2 ¶ And Chizqiyyah appointed the courses of the priests and the Lewiyyim after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Lewiyyim for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of Yahweh.

 31:3 [He appointed] also the king's° portion° of° his substance° for the burnt offerings,° [to wit], for the morning° and evening° burnt offerings,° and the burnt offerings° for the sabbaths,° and for the new moons,° and for the set feasts,° as [it is] written°° in the law° of Yähwè יָהוֶה.°

 31:3 [He appointed] also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, [to wit], for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as [it is] written in the law of Yahweh.

 31:4 Moreover he commanded°° the people° that dwelt°° in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם° to give°° the portion° of the priests° and the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם,° that° they might be encouraged°° in the law° of Yähwè יָהוֶה.°

 31:4 Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Yerushalaim to give the portion of the priests and the Lewiyyim, that they might be encouraged in the law of Yahweh.

 31:5 ¶ And as soon as the commandment° came abroad,°° the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° brought°° in abundance°° the firstfruits° of corn,° wine,° and oil,° and honey,° and of all° the increase° of the field;° and the tithe° of all° [things] brought°° they in° abundantly.°

 31:5 ¶ And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Yisrael brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all [things] brought they in abundantly.

 31:6 And [concerning] the children° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל° and Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° that dwelt°° in the cities° of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° they° also° brought in°° the tithe° of oxen° and sheep,° and the tithe° of holy things° which were consecrated°° unto Yähwè יָהוֶה° their ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° and laid°° [them] by heaps.°

 31:6 And [concerning] the children of Yisrael and Yehudah, that dwelt in the cities of Yehudah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto Yahweh their Elohim, and laid [them] by heaps.

 31:7 In the third° month° they began°° to lay the foundation°° of the heaps,° and finished°° [them] in the seventh° month.°

 31:10 And `Ázaryà עֲזַריָה° the chief° priest° of the house° of Xäđôk צָדוֹק° answered°°° him, and said,°° Since [the people] began°°° to bring°° the offerings° into the house° of Yähwè יָהוֶה,° we have had enough°° to eat,°° and have left°°° plenty:° for° Yähwè יָהוֶה° hath blessed°°° his people;° and that which is left°° [is]° this° great store.°

 31:10 And Azaryah the chief priest of the house of Tzadoq answered him, and said, Since [the people] began to bring the offerings into the house of Yahweh, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for Yahweh hath blessed his people; and that which is left [is] this great store.

 31:11 ¶ Then Çizkiyyà חִזקִיָּה° commanded°° to prepare°° chambers° in the house° of Yähwè יָהוֶה;° and they prepared°° [them],

 31:12 And brought in°°° the offerings° and the tithes° and the dedicated° [things] faithfully:° over° which Cownanyà כָּונַניָה° the Lëwî לֵוִי°° [was] ruler,° and Šim`î שִׁמעִי° his brother° [was] the next.°

 31:13 And Yeiel, and Azazyah, and Nachath, and Asah-El, and Yerimoth, and Yozavad, and Eliel, and Yismakhyah, and Machath, and Benayah, [were] overseers under the hand of Kownanyah and Shimi his brother, at the commandment of Chizqiyyah the king, and Azaryah the ruler of the house of Elohim.

 31:14 And Kôrë´ קוֹרֵא° the son° of Yimnà יִמנָה° the Lëwî לֵוִי,°° the porter° toward the east,° [was] over° the freewill offerings° of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° to distribute°° the oblations° of Yähwè יָהוֶה,° and the most° holy things.°

 31:14 And Qore the son of Yimnah the Lewi, the porter toward the east, [was] over the freewill offerings of Elohim, to distribute the oblations of Yahweh, and the most holy things.

 31:15 And next°° him [were] `Ëđen עֵדֶן,° and Minyämîn מִניָמִין,° and Yëšûå` יֵשׁוּעַ,° and Šæma`yà שְׁמַעיָה,° ´Ámaryà אֲמַריָה,° and Šæȼanyà שְׁכַניָה,° in the cities° of the priests,° in [their] set office,° to give°° to their brethren° by° courses,° as well to the great° as to the small:°

 31:15 And next him [were] Eden, and Minyamin, and Yeshua, and Shemayah, Amaryah, and Shekhanyah, in the cities of the priests, in [their] set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:

 31:16 Beside°° their genealogy°° of males,° from three° years° old°° and upward,° [even] unto every one° that entereth°° into the house° of Yähwè יָהוֶה,° his daily° portion° for their service° in their charges° according to their courses;°

 31:19 Also of the sons of Aharon the priests, [which were] in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Lewiyyim.

 31:20 ¶ And thus° did°° Çizkiyyà חִזקִיָּה° throughout all° Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° and wrought°° [that which was] good° and right° and truth° before° Yähwè יָהוֶה° his ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.°

 31:20 ¶ And thus did Chizqiyyah throughout all Yehudah, and wrought [that which was] good and right and truth before Yahweh his Elohim.

 31:21 And in every° work° that° he began°° in the service° of the house° of ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° and in the law,° and in the commandments,° to seek°° his ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° he did°° [it] with all° his heart,° and prospered.°°

 31:21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of Elohim, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his Elohim, he did [it] with all his heart, and prospered.
