 19:1 ¶ And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט° the king° of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה° returned°° to° his house° in peace° to Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם.°

 19:1 ¶ And Yehoshafat the king of Yehudah returned to his house in peace to Yerushalaim.

 19:2 And Yëhû´ יֵהוּא° the son° of Çánänî חֲנָנִי° the seer° went out°° to meet°° him, and said°° to° king° Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט,° Shouldest thou help°° the ungodly,° and love°° them that hate°° Yähwè יָהוֶה?° therefore° [is] wrath° upon° thee from before°° Yähwè יָהוֶה.°

 19:2 And Yehu the son of Chanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Yehoshafat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate Yahweh? therefore [is] wrath upon thee from before Yahweh.

 19:3 Nevertheless° there are good° things° found°° in° thee, in that° thou hast taken away°° the groves° out of° the land,° and hast prepared°° thine heart° to seek°° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים.°

 19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek Elohim.

 19:4 And Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט° dwelt°° at Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם:° and he went out°° again°° through the people° from Bæ´ër Ševa` בְּאֵר־שֶׁבַע°° to° mount° ´Efrayim אֶפרַיִם,° and brought them back°° unto° Yähwè יָהוֶה° ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים° of their fathers.°

 19:4 And Yehoshafat dwelt at Yerushalaim: and he went out again through the people from Beer-Sheva to mount Efrayim, and brought them back unto Yahweh Elohim of their fathers.

 19:5 ¶ And he set°° judges°° in the land° throughout all° the fenced°° cities° of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° city° by city,°

 19:5 ¶ And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Yehudah, city by city,

 19:6 And said°° to° the judges,°° Take heed°° what° ye° do:°° for° ye judge°° not° for man,° but° for Yähwè יָהוֶה,° who [is] with° you in the judgment.°°

 19:6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for Yahweh, who [is] with you in the judgment.

 19:7 Wherefore now° let the fear° of Yähwè יָהוֶה° be° upon° you; take heed°° and do°° [it]: for° [there is] no° iniquity° with° Yähwè יָהוֶה° our ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,° nor respect° of persons,° nor taking° of gifts.°

 19:7 Wherefore now let the fear of Yahweh be upon you; take heed and do [it]: for [there is] no iniquity with Yahweh our Elohim, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

 19:8 ¶ Moreover° in Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם° did Yæhôšäfäţ יְהוֹשָׁפָט° set°° of° the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם,° and [of] the priests,° and of the chief°° of the fathers° of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל,° for the judgment° of Yähwè יָהוֶה,° and for controversies,° when they returned°° to Yærûšälaim יְרוּשָׁלִַם.°

 19:8 ¶ Moreover in Yerushalaim did Yehoshafat set of the Lewiyyim, and [of] the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Yisrael, for the judgment of Yahweh, and for controversies, when they returned to Yerushalaim.

 19:9 And he charged°°° them, saying,°° Thus° shall ye do°° in the fear° of Yähwè יָהוֶה,° faithfully,° and with a perfect° heart.°

 19:9 And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of Yahweh, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

 19:10 And what cause° soever°°° shall come°° to° you of your brethren°° that dwell°° in their cities,° between° blood° and blood,° between° law° and commandment,° statutes° and judgments,° ye shall even warn°° them that they trespass°° not° against Yähwè יָהוֶה,° and [so] wrath° come° upon° you, and upon° your brethren:° this° do,°° and ye shall not° trespass.°°

 19:10 And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against Yahweh, and [so] wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

 19:11 And, behold,° ´Ámaryà אֲמַריָה° the chief° priest° [is] over° you in all° matters° of Yähwè יָהוֶה;° and Zævađyà זְבַדיָה° the son° of Yišmä`ë´l יִשׁמָעֵאל,° the ruler° of the house° of Yæhûđà יְהוּדָה,° for all° the king's° matters:° also the Læwiyyim לְוִיִּם° [shall be] officers°° before° you. Deal°° courageously,°° and Yähwè יָהוֶה° shall be° with° the good.°

 19:11 And, behold, Amaryah the chief priest [is] over you in all matters of Yahweh; and Zevadyah the son of Yishmael, the ruler of the house of Yehudah, for all the king's matters: also the Lewiyyim [shall be] officers before you. Deal courageously, and Yahweh shall be with the good.
