1 The dedicated treasures. 2 The solemn induction of the Ark into the oracle. 11 God being praised giveth a visible sign of his favour.

 5:1 Thus all 3605 the work 4399 that Solomon 8010 performed 6213a for the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 was finished 7999a. And Solomon 8010 brought 935 in the things that David 1732 his father 1 had dedicated 6944, even the silver 3701 and the gold 2091 and all 3605 the utensils 3627, [and] put 5414 [them] in the treasuries 214 of the house 1004 of God 430.

 5:2 ¶ Then 227 Solomon 8010 assembled 6950 to Jerusalem 3389 the elders 2205 of Israel 3478 and all 3605 the heads 7218 of the tribes 4294, the leaders 5387a of the fathers’ 1 [households] of the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, to bring 5927 up the ark 727 of the covenant 1285 of the LORD 3068 out of the city 5892b of David 1732, which 1931 is Zion 6726.

 5:3 All 3605 the men 376 of Israel 3478 assembled 6950 themselves to the king 4428 at the feast 2282, that is [in] the seventh 7637 month 2320.

 5:4 Then all 3605 the elders 2205 of Israel 3478 came 935, and the Levites 3881 took 5375 up the ark 727.

 5:5 They brought 5927 up the ark 727 and the tent 168 of meeting 4150 and all 3605 the holy 6944 utensils 3627 which 834 [were] in the tent 168; the Levitical 3881 priests 3548 brought 5927 them up.

 5:6 And King 4428 Solomon 8010 and all 3605 the congregation 5712 of Israel 3478 who were assembled 3259 with him before 6440 the ark 727, were sacrificing 2076 so many 7230 sheep 6629 and oxen 1241 that they could not be counted 5608 or numbered 4487.

 5:7 Then the priests 3548 brought 935 the ark 727 of the covenant 1285 of the LORD 3068 to its place 4725, into the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 of the house 1004, to the holy 6944 of holies 6944, under 8478 the wings 3671 of the cherubim 3742.

 5:8 For the cherubim 3742 spread 6566 their wings 3671 over 5921 the place 4725 of the ark 727, so that the cherubim 3742 made 3680 a covering 3680 over 5921 the ark 727 and its poles 905.

 5:9 The poles 905 were so long 748 that the ends 7218 of the poles 905 of the ark 727 could be seen 7200 in front 6440 of the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687, but they could not be seen 7200 outside 2351; and they are there 8033 to this 2088 day 3117.

 5:10 There 369 was nothing 369 in the ark 727 except 7534 the two 8147 tablets 3871 which 834 Moses 4872 put 5414 [there] at Horeb 2722, where 834 the LORD 3068 made 3772 a covenant with the sons 1121 of Israel 3478, when they came 3318 out of Egypt 4714.

 5:11 ¶ When the priests 3548 came 3318 forth 3318 from the holy 6944 place (for all 3605 the priests 3548 who were present 4672 had sanctified 6942 themselves, without 369 regard 8104 to divisions 4256),

 5:12 and all 3605 the Levitical 3881 singers 7891, Asaph 623, Heman 1968, Jeduthun 3038, and their sons 1121 and kinsmen 251, clothed 3847 in fine 948 linen 948, with cymbals 4700, harps 5035b and lyres 3658, standing 5975 east 4217 of the altar 4196, and with them one hundred 3967 and twenty 6242 priests 3548 blowing 2690 trumpets 2689

 5:13 in unison 259 when the trumpeters 2689 and the singers 7891 were to make 8085 themselves heard 8085 with one 259 voice 6963 to praise 1984b and to glorify 3034 the LORD 3068, and when they lifted 7311 up their voice 6963 accompanied by trumpets 2689 and cymbals 4700 and instruments 3627 of music 7892a, and when they praised 1984b the LORD 3068 [saying], “[He] indeed 3588 is good 2896a for His lovingkindness 2617a is everlasting 5769,” then the house 1004, the house 1004 of the LORD 3068, was filled 4390 with a cloud 6051,

 5:14 so that the priests 3548 could 3201 not stand 5975 to minister 8334 because 4480 6440 of the cloud 6051, for the glory 3519b of the LORD 3068 filled 4390 the house 1004 of God 430.
