 3:1 Then Solomon 8010 began 2490c to build 1129 the house 1004 of the LORD 3068 in Jerusalem 3389 on Mount 2022 Moriah 4179, where 834 [the LORD] had appeared 7200 to his father 1 David 1732, at the place 4725 that David 1732 had prepared 3559 on the threshing 1637 floor 1637 of Ornan 771 the Jebusite 2983.

 3:2 He began 2490c to build 1129 on the second 8145 [day] in the second 8145 month 2320 of the fourth 702 year 8141 of his reign 4438.

 3:3 Now these 428 are the foundations 3245 which Solomon 8010 laid 3245 for building 1129 the house 1004 of God 430. The length 753 in cubits 520, according to the old 7223 standard 4060a [was] sixty 8346 cubits 520, and the width 7341 twenty 6242 cubits 520.

 3:4 The porch 197 which 834 was in front 6440 of the house was as long 753 as the width 7341 of the house 1004, twenty 6242 cubits 520, and the height 1363 120 3967 6242; and inside 4480 6441 he overlaid 6823 it with pure 2889 gold 2091.

 3:5 He overlaid 2645 the main 1419 room 1004 with cypress 1265 wood 6086 and overlaid 2645 it with fine 2896a gold 2091, and ornamented 5927 5921 it with palm 8561 trees 8561 and chains 8333.

 3:6 Further, he adorned 6823 the house 1004 with precious 3368 stones 68; and the gold 2091 was gold 2091 from Parvaim 6516.

 3:7 He also overlaid 2645 the house 1004 with gold 2091—the beams 6982, the thresholds 5592b and its walls 7023 and its doors 1817; and he carved 6605b cherubim 3742 on the walls 7023.

 3:8 ¶ Now he made 6213a the room 1004 of the holy 6944 of holies 6944: its length 753 across 5921 6440 the width 7341 of the house 1004 [was] twenty 6242 cubits 520, and its width 7341 [was] twenty 6242 cubits 520; and he overlaid 2645 it with fine 2896a gold 2091, [amounting] to 600 8337a 3967 talents 3603.

 3:9 The weight 4948 of the nails 4548 was fifty 2572 shekels 8255 of gold 2091. He also overlaid 2645 the upper 5944 rooms 5944 with gold 2091.

 3:10 ¶ Then he made 6213a two 8147 sculptured 4639 6816 cherubim 3742 in the room 1004 of the holy 6944 of holies 6944 and overlaid 6823 them with gold 2091.

 3:11 The wingspan 3671 of the cherubim 3742 [was] twenty 6242 cubits 520; the wing 3671 of one 259, of five 2568 cubits 520, touched 5060 the wall 7023 of the house 1004, and [its] other 312 wing 3671, of five 2568 cubits 520, touched 5060 the wing 3671 of the other 312 cherub 3742.

 3:12 The wing 3671 of the other 312 cherub 3742, of five 2568 cubits 520, touched 5060 the wall 7023 of the house 1004; and [its] other 312 wing 3671 of five 2568 cubits 520 was attached 1695 to the wing 3671 of the first 312 cherub 3742.

 3:13 The wings 3671 of these 428 cherubim 3742 extended 6566 twenty 6242 cubits 520, and they stood 5975 on their feet 7272 facing 6440 the [main] room 1004.

 3:14 He made 6213a the veil 6532 of violet 8504, purple 713, crimson 3758 and fine 948 linen 948, and he worked 5927 cherubim 3742 on it.

 3:15 ¶ He also made 6213a two 8147 pillars 5982 for the front 6440 of the house 1004, thirty-five 7970 2568 cubits 520 high 753, and the capital 6858 on the top 7218 of each [was] five 2568 cubits 520.

 3:16 He made 6213a chains 8333 in the inner 1687 sanctuary 1687 and placed 5414 [them] on the tops 7218 of the pillars 5982; and he made 6213a one hundred 3967 pomegranates 7416 and placed 5414 [them] on the chains 8333.

 3:17 He erected 6965 the pillars 5982 in front 6440 of the temple 1964, one 259 on the right 3225 and the other 259 on the left 8040, and named 7121 8034 the one on the right 3233 Jachin 3199 and the one on the left 8042 Boaz 1162.
